I am going to report them. Misleading process. A simple Facebook click was treated as if I had signed legal documents giving them authority to act in my name — without ID checks or genuine consent. I’ve disputed their actions and reported the matter. Be very careful before engaging.

I also have also received two unsolicited email this weekend. Just realised there is two red flags here, the first one i received at 0016 am on Saturday morning, the second on arrived at 004.17 am Sunday morning. Who sends email at that time so early in the morning at the weekend?
I have contacted the FCA this morning who have advised me to call them again if I receive any more email from this SCAM company and also to contact the ICO. Do not engagé with these vile people who are trying to frighten you into paying them money by using illegal methods. REPORT THEM!

I received a email saying I signed a online document for them to act on my behalf, which I haven't there had some of my details right like date of birth and email address (which is a old account) I rarely that one and they had the wrong address I moved from there over 2 years ago. They clearly buying your details online clearly a scam

On 8/11, Consultation Claims sent  unsolicited, contractual documentation that had been set up in my name, address and date of birth and with a fake digital signature attached. The documentation includes a letter of agreement for services that I have never asked for and a letter of authority also with a fake signature affixed.

The letter of agreement includes a "cooling off period" of 14 days from the date of request for services. In this instance the effective date of the agreement with CC is 24/10. The documents were sent on 8/11. In the case of the contract sent by CC to me, this cooling off period would be void as the contract documentation has been sent one day outside of the 14 day cooling off period, depriving the customer of their consumer statutory entitlement to do their due diligence with respect to terms and conditions for the service within the cooling off period itself and making them liable for any costs incurred. 
Consumer regs for contracts entered into "at a distance" (ie online or over the phone) expects the supplier to provide the customer with a contract in tangible format when the service starts (ie when the services are requested).

If the supplier doesn't do that or fails to provide contract documentation to the customer, the cooling off period default extends (by 12 months I believe). This is worth bearing in mind if company demands payment for any work done prior to customer terminating the contract.

I am unclear why this company has provided the documents after the cooling off period when these can be automatically generated at the point of an online service request (the typical practice for online applications).

To be clear, the provision of a contract in tangible format (ie email and/or paper) is so that the customer can check that the contract terms of conditions match those presented to them during the online application process and allow them to decide if they want to proceed. Consultation Claims modus operandi in this and other reviewers experience deprives the customer that opportunity until after the cooling off period thereby allowing CC to levy a charge for any work done prior to termination if the customer decides not to proceed following review of the documentation.  

I asked the company to contact me urgently to discuss the matter. To their credit, they have done so via email and have admitted that the application submitted in my name is invalid. They also confirm that there have been a large number of invalid applications and they are conducting an investigation. Apparently another organisation collects information from customers and passes it onto Consultation Claims who say "please note that we do not hold any jurisdiction over the signing process; our responsibility is limited to receiving and handling incoming queries". Very poor business practice and open to abuse if Consultation Claims have by their own admission "no jurisdiction over the signing process".    

If anyone from Consultation Claims is reading this, for the avoidance of doubt, you have never been asked by me to provide any services whatsoever and you are to cease making any approaches to lenders or any other third parties on my behalf.  

Note also that this matter will be reported to Action Fraud and to the Information Commissioners Office. 

I opened my email to find several documents in a mail welcoming me to them with a letter of Me signing (just a squiggle) and all the usual finance docs with an agreement. The guy was ready with his responses but sounded tired like I wasn't the first to complain. He said it's now cancelled, but this sort of sneaky practice is not right. If id have missed the mail (easy done with all the junk) then they might have tried to hold me to some penalties. Cowboy outfit it felt like. Just to be clear, I have never had finance, if I did it was many years ago and I did not request or sign ANYTHING.

NEVER SIGNED ANYTHING WITH ANYONE AS DONT HAVE ANY CAR FINANCE AND NEVER HAVE .JUST IGNORE THIS COMPANY THEY CANT FORCE YOU TO PAY ANYTHING ITS AGAINST THE LAW !!!!

Received an e mail stating I have signed some " forms" re Car Finance, I have never owned a car and never drove.
Scammers.

I also received an email saying I had signed up with them when I hadn’t. I have emailed them asks using this. Looks like a total scam

Received emails on Saturday claiming that I have signed documents for them to pursue a claim. I have not signed any documents and requested they remove my data from their files. Complete scam

Don’t engage with any emails sent, worded to panic you so that you do. If you do, this is when they try to charge you a cancellation fee.
Just report the email via Action fraud.
Just don’t engage with them in any form and make sure you phone/tablet/pc has allthe required security on it.

These FRAUDSTERS have emailed me with an Engagement Letter, a Letter of Authority, an Audit Trail and a Summary Document claiming I have contracted them to pursue claims for the mis-selling of car finance.
I have NEVER had any engagement with this Company. They have bought my details - down to my date of birth and address which appear on the documents.
THIS IS FRAUD AND ILLEGAL.
I have forwarded everything to the FSA and the Martin Lewis Show.

I have been trying to deal with these cowboys for weeks now. The initial contact was a totally unsolicited “Welcome Aboard” email claiming I had signed up for them to act on my behalf in my car finance claim. I knew immediately this was a con because I made my claim direct with the finance company myself using The Money Saving Expert’s template letters early last year and I would never engage a claims company to act for me and then take a cut of the compensation when I can do it myself and get 100% of what I’m owed. They have not let up despite repeated emails and phone calls asking them to remove my data from their systems and confirming that I do not and have never authorised them to act on my behalf. The fact that they are continuing to email me in itself is a serious breach of my personal rights and data protection under the UK GDPR. I have today sent them a final cease and desist letter confirming if they do not do the same and confirm in writing within 14 days I will report their conduct to the Information Comissioners Office and the Financial Ombudsman. I’d suggest anyone who has received an attempted scam from this company do the same. GDPR is taken seriously and companies can be fined huge sums for mishandling personal data. If this isn’t that then I don’t know what is……..

They stole my information and set up documents confirming for them to act on my behalf to claim finance compensation. Forging my signature is illegal and have reported to FCA I have never instructed these cowboys to act on my behalf. Absolute scam company and shouldn’t be allowed to operate by stealing details and forging signatures

I immediately tried to cancel after signing up. I sent multiple emails and phoned the day after stating I no longer wish to proceed. I then get a email tonight with signed documents. Very upset and frustrated that my claim has not been closed as I am still in the cooling down period. AVOID at all costs.will be reporting to fraud Please just cancel NOW!!!!

Unsolicited email claiming I have signed up with them. I have never heard of them until today. I cannot read the attached documents as they are blank, but from other reviews, I assume mine would be the same. They are trying to get money for expensive cancellation fees. I will be reporting them to Action Fraud and the FCA

SCAM ALERT! I received documents from this company saying that I had instructed them to work on my behalf. These documents have a forged signature on them. I have never contacted this company. Have reported to Action Fraud and the FCA.

This company wasn’t instructed by myself, but yet had an e-sign signature (wasn’t my signature) stating I’d instructed them and would agree to pay etc!!

The funny thing is I don’t drive and have never owned a car!

Today I received documents by email apparently signed by me to instruct them to act for me. I dont know how they have got my address I have never ever contacted this company andvthe signature is not mine. I will send the email to action fraud.
Update : I have reported it to Action Fraud via telephone call this morning.
Advice given by them:
1) Report to them and get crime reference number. They will give you email address to report this phishing email to.
2) Do not make contact with company via email or telephone.
3) Contact FCA on 08001116768 to report company.
4) Check you credit score with Clear Score in case company have used any of your details.

Received documents apparently stating I have chosen them to act for me on a claim. I haven’t done this or interacted with them. My name is spelt incorrectly in the supposed documents and signature is not mine. Beware - this is false. Reported to Action Fraud.

HELP! I have tried to email to cancel within 14days but no response they have forged my signature on documents I have not signed!! No response no nothing!
