avoid! Poor customer service

Received 4 damaged products out of the order I placed - informed them of the breakages and sent pics to show the items were smashed in transit. Waited two days for a reply, to then get asked for multiple different photos (of the box, inside the box, side of the box, the packaging, the items broken, the label etc.) totally ridiculous. Still waiting on a refund, and now it’s been passed to a warranty department… been going on for days and days. I would avoid this company!

Twelve days, still not despatched

Ordered a bin twelve days ago. It was showing as being in the warehouse, ready for shipping from the start, and the status is still the same - ready to ship.

Their reply below doesn't even make sense. I specifically queried the status showing on my order, which said 'ready to despatch'. Then they told me by email that it was NOT ready to despatch! No attempt was made to advise me of any delay.

They claim below that I ordered two tea-towels, and one was out stock, but at the time I ordered, it was showing as being IN stock. (In addition, telling the internet what I ordered is a complete breach of data protection and my personal information) To compound it all, I received both of the tea-towels anyway, including the one they said was out of stock!

And now they say they're annoyed by my review! Wow. Bottom line is that if they'd correctly told me it was NOT in stock, I wouldn't have ordered. What a debacle.

I see that while the bin was in stock, you had also ordered towels and they were out of stock. We indicate on the website that an order is not shipped until it is complete, so we had to wait for the towels.

If you had ordered only the wastebasket, we could have shipped it the same day.

Whilst the product is good

Whilst the product is good, if expensive 1 part of the order was deemed "out of stock" 3 days before shipping. This now forces me to pay shipping twice... again expensive, if had know stock levels during the order process i might have changed the order.

A COMPLETE SCAM

A COMPLETE SCAM. ONCE I PLACED ORDER AND TRIED TO CONTACT THEM, nothing but crickets!! Luckily my credit card company was able to cancel the charge.

Absolut disaster

Absolut disaster, incompetent team, ... I bought a product in a UK store for my daughter. 1. they did not warn me that the product price will be higher due to custom taxes and fees. 2. I paid 126 pounds for taxes and fees.3. UPS announced the arrival of the product ... 3. Suddenly another package was there heading in the opposite direction 4. Asking and asking and asking, ... finally they wrote to me that the shipment was canceled 5. The product was canceled without any legal base 6. Oh yes they refund me the money, but to get back 126 pounds from customs and shipment cost is not their problem, you are on your own. RUN AS FASTEST YOU CAN FROM THAT STORE, CAUSE YOU WILL BE ALONE IN CASE OF PROBLEMS. Order: ET104181098, UPS : 1ZV768Y36891207525 (which is steel delayed) and 1ZV768Y36890440515

Ordered a chopping board

Ordered a chopping board, it arrived damaged and i was only offered 20% off which didn't reflect the damage.. I requested a replacement and that was 20 days ago. I have emailed 4 times and been held in a telephone que for 30 minutes. Not sure what to do next. AT this point I would ay do not use these guys

Very happy with mine experience

Positively surprized :) I decided to order even being a bit sceptical after reading the reviews here. The Le Creuset pot in the size and color I wished was sold out other places. The price was tempting too. :) I puted my order Friday late night and got the pot (well packed in perfect condition) in my local UPS pickpoint Wednesday afternoon! I live in Norway though. I am very happy with my shoping experience in Cookearestore, so I would absolutely recomend it.

Avoid if you're ordering from the UK

EDIT: when you view their customer rating on their website it shows 8.2/10 rated by 12 customers however come onto trust pilot and as of today there are 122 reviews at 3.6/5 rating. Not only are deceived into thinking that you are ordering from a UK based company because of the UK domain name and customer services number but you are also deceived if you think this company has a good rating from its customers on trust pilot, if I could add screenshots to this review I would to back up my comment. Very disappointed.

If you are from the UK please do not order from this company, its costs too much to import it in from the Netherlands and if you change your mind its at your own cost to return it. The product savings aren't enough to justify the additional costs you have to fork out for. I wish I had just ordered from Amazon.

Very disappointed all prices were…

Very disappointed all prices were advertised in £ free postage but no clear information on the extra for import as items were shipped from eu. Made the purchase significantly more than expected.

The ASA Selection Saisons Denim

The ASA Selection Saisons Denim looks great & is beautifully made. The variety of sizes of plates and bowls were what made me want to order it.
The order came from the Netherlands and incurred import VAT and a brokerage charge which was more than I expected.
One plate & one bowl were smashed on arrival, thus the reason for 4 stars. I am waiting to hear from Etrias Lifestyle stores regarding this. The customer service team have been great so far with updates on shipping etc.

Couldn't be bothered to answer a simple customer quiery

I telephoned Cookwarestore to ask where a particular product they stocked was manufactured as company producing the product recently changed their manufacturing base from Germany to China and apparently, this reflects in the quality. Whoever I spoke to at Cookware store tried to tell me the product was manufactured in The Netherlands. I explained that I knew Cookwarestore is based in The Netherlands but that the product I was asking about had never been made in The Netherlands. I politely persisted for a correct answer to my question and was promised that someone would get back to me within a couple of days or so. To date, about two months later, still no answer to my simple quiery. I was on the verge of buying quite an expensive product from them. Cookwarestore obviously can't be bothered with customer quieries so I didn't bother to make a purchase. I don't understand why some Customer Service is so bad these days.
