No problem whatsoever from ordering to delivery, I ordered the maple and the garlic, both are superb, flavoured in my opinion perfectly,and the crunch is just right, not to hard as I'm getting on now... Voir plus

Cool Hog in Bloxwich
I've seen advert on Facebook and saw the shop in Bloxwich so had to pop in and its great atmosphere and very clean shop..

Definitely didn't get a jar more…
Definitely didn't get a jar more plastic sweet unit.
Nice taste but found funny flavour which could be unit issue as I don't keep my dog food in container without inner liner as fat and plastic mix.
4 star as idea good and seems legit but it could of been lower as storage of this item usually foil to give best flavour.
Unsure if I'll order again as the jar and sealed unit look one of the reasons I ordered item to try.

This IS a ‘promoted’ review! Scratchings great. Clarity of website and customer service woeful. As stated, this is a prompted review. Cool Hog WILL ask for one after every delivery. Latest delivery of 300g crunch received without promised 15% discount. Why the constant emails asking for a review promising discount if you’re not then gonna apply the discount? Customer service very dismissive. Refused to refund the 15%If I wasn’t addicted to their scratchings, I wouldn’t deal with cool hog again.
*UPDATE* 30/6/2026 after cool hog’s response today… Whilst fully accepting that some discounts are one use only, why constantly send me emails demanding a review for my latest order promising a further 15% discount when you know full well that one time discount has already been used? At no stage was it made clear that the discount was single use only. As I’ve constantly stated, cool hog’s scratchings are superb and I AM addicted to them. Just like a junkie, I AM a captive audience with coolhog being my dealer. Just like a dealer, cool hog don’t care about the recipient. They just want your money and will ride rough shod over you if there’s a problem.Try their product at your own risk.

The first pack were not as good as my…
The first pack were not as good as my previous order, quite small pieces and there were lots of crumbs. Let’s hope the other 2 packs are a better quality.
Didn’t have this issue with my first order at Christmas so a little disappointed

Firstly the £105 pork SCRATCHING…
Firstly the £105 pork SCRATCHING mystery box isn't worth it because they sent pork CRUNCH that we don't eat. So I ordered a large jar of salt and vinegar SCRATCHINGS after but I received BLACK PEPPER. They would not refund me or send the correct item out because I had opened the UNSEALED jar. Your jars aren't even sealed so why are you accepting returns that will then be sold to another customer (how do I know I haven't received a return jar that could have been tampered with?)
So it's OK for me to receive an unsealed product. But you can't accept a return because it's not sealed because of "food safety regulations" How does that work?? Well done on losing a customer.

To clarify, our Mystery Boxes contain a variety of products from our range, including both pork scratchings and pork crunch, which is why pork crunch may be included.
Regarding your second order, we're sorry that you received the wrong flavour. However, as explained in our previous correspondence, once a food product has been opened, we're unable to accept it back or send a replacement. This policy is in place for food safety reasons and is applied consistently to all customers.
We'd also like to reassure you that we do not resell returned food products. Returns can be made for a number of reasons, such as damage during transit, but any food product returned to us is not put back into stock or sent out to another customer.
We're sorry that we weren't able to provide the resolution you were hoping for, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.

Super scammy business practices
Super scammy business practices.
They try and sell you "delivery insurance" with a statement that they will not be held responsible if you do not pay for the insurance. This literally goes against UK consumer law. I am reporting them to the ombudsman for this.
And then at checkout they have the cheek to ask for a a tip. A TIP? For what?
We're not in America mate, sort your business out.

Completely addicted to these incredible scratchings. Habanero is a must for spice lovers, BBQ is so flavoursome, and salt and vinegar is just the absolute perfect partner for a beer. I will be a repeat customer for a long time to come, thats for sure.

What is the point in putting a leaflet in with the order which has a "your order was hand packed with care by ......." and not putting down who did pack it?
Product is lovely if expensive.
