I don't use my local coop much and today's visit certainly didn't inspire me to go back anytime soon. The male on the till had zero personality. He didn't interact at all, and never even looked at me!... Voir plus

This gets on my tits
This gets on my tits. You have an offer on wine and said wine is member offer so a double offer. Corte Molino Prosseco reduced from £8.50 to £7 Then member offer further 75p reduction. When I got to my local upgraded store is it in the fridge chilling is it f""k. However Nosecco priced at £4 is taking up precious space in the fridge. What's that all about? Why not place higher priced items in the fridge. Do you want to make money?
Coop at Upminster is friendly
Very friendly staff at the Upminster branch. The prices are twice of what you'd get elsewhere but the staff can't really control that.

Ordered food to be delivered between 5 and 6pm. At 6 25 I was assured it would be coming soon. At 7 30 there is no sign of it
has to be the worst clown outfit online…
has to be the worst clown outfit online today. Just as grossly incompetent as it gets.
I was stupid enough to sign up as a member for £1..then tried an online shop. They have around a trolley full of food for the whole place, but I still just about managed to order 8 items. Get to checkout and 3 of these were not available!! I decided to close the account and tell them to get stuffed. You cant close the account you cant get hold of anyone and there is zero customer service. Its as mad as it gets and the sooner they burn the better.

Funeral arrangements were made but a casket that was chosen two weeks before burial of ashes was not delivered then promised the day of the funeral in fact delivered 30 minutes before funeral only to find it was a sample casket with sample written beneath no apology just a lot of in house cross team blame. I will never recommend or us them again.
Only one item out of 10
Only one item out of 10 , shelves half empty as usual. Came out with a pack of eggs , that's all.
Yes I will have my say
Yes I will have my say, went into the co-op at the Winterbourne store on Sunday evening and purchased, 20 Lambert & Butler silver, when I got home I noticed the packet was damaged, and damaged under the cellophane, lower half of the packet.
I took out a cigarette from that area and it was totally damaged, could not smoke it at all.
I put my finger in that area and cardboard packet had a hole in it, but had not damaged the cellophane, so must has happened during packaging.
I took the packet back to the co-op and explained all, and could you please show the manager, he said nothing and put the packet in the bin,
Price of cigarettes the co-op should have give me my cigarette back, NO INTEREST AT ALL. RIP OFF.
Very poor customer service
For the first time today I placed an online order which were supposed to be delivered between 2 and 3 pm. Ten minutes past 2 I called customer support to ask what is happening as i received a confirmation email, which says I will be notified, when the order is packed, but still didn’t receive anything. The customer service agent tried calling the shop and then offered me to cancel my order. I already spent time sitting at home waiting for delivery. I would like to get my delivery and do not see how cancelling it is helpful. When I asked her to keep calling them she said she cannot and might forget. Is it not a job of customer service to make sure service which has already been paid is provided? I work myself in customer and care and it’s a very disappointing service experience. I won’t be ordering online again.
Then I received a reply that they take complaints very seriously and will talk to store manager about it, which just confirms that complaint was not even read as it’s about customer service and not a store. I was served a standard copy paste reply without a possibility to write back.
Waited 2 hrs past the delivery time…
Waited 2 hrs past the delivery time 10/11/24 and rang the belsize shop number which by the way why they have a phone for they never answer it ever any day of the week
Rang longstone st shop to see if they could get through to belsize store all she said its same number they had no internal numbers yet she took my number never rang me back.
4 hrs later the pathetic excuse the company who do the online for co op said it was cancelled yeh right yet they still have my money a pathetic excuse he said he was waiting to hear from company.
i said return my money and if anyone thinks of shopping online you’ll get same service
Last time i shopped i was missing 3 items i rang head office was on 40 mins holding only for him to put me back to hold from the start again useless company and why they even do online half the items out of stock but they are in the shop when u go in
Would not even try ordering from here…
Would not even try ordering from here again. Sat waiting an hour and 15minutes after being told the driver was on his way for them to then tell me the order has been cancelled absolute joke.
Absolutely dreadful delivery service…
Absolutely dreadful delivery service they do ut ready meals in bag upside down, delicate items underneath heavy items and squash as much in a bag as possible they really don't care about customers products I am never using again hope the management read this and act,
Coop Glanaman the most ignorant
Coop Glanaman I don't know what the coop think customer service is but being ignored 100% of the time not willing to serve they are always gossiping with each other while you wait or gossiping on a headset when they eventually serve you all customers in this shop are invisible this shop could be so much more but instead I suggest you take out all staff self serve only at least your customers won't feel so unimportant and invisible
I don't understand why you charge so…
I don't understand why you charge so much more on your prices of products for deliveries. We already pay for the delivery but when I can go in store and get a bottle of soave wine for £5.50 then its £7.80 to buy it online this is a massive difference. Absolutely shocking as we pay extra for the delivery service on top of that. Taking advantage of people who do not drive or immobile shocking!! And thats just one product you sell. How can you justify this?
I do love my local Co-op stores

Customer service
Hi, Firstly I would just like to say that I am certainly not a Victor Meldrew 😂 & wouldn’t be writing this review as I have better things to do with my time, moving to Clanfield Hampshire recently with my lovely family,is turning out to be great, lovely people and all the local shops really nice, the only problem I have is the Co op convenience store, you forever waiting to be served, it’s a joke, most of the staff are reasonably happy & helpful, but there’s a couple of younger lads who work there , they are so unbelievably miserable, don’t talk no please or thank you, basically Absolutely no customer skills at all maybe they don’t want to work there anymore or something, I think Co op area manager needs to certainly visit the store a bit more often and use his expertise in ironing out some rather large issues, I really do think that the lovely people of Clanfield deserve better 😄
Co op.free will writing scam
I Thought when I wrote a will I would do it through a Charity....clicked online to a barnadoes children charity ... suddenly I'm on a co op so called will writing service who ask how much cash you have ...then a email telling you when you will receive a phone call....very organised and lots of levels for something thats supposed to be free ....month later you you get a phone call to make sure your gonna be Available that day for your pre booked phon call to write your will for free ....then you receive the actual phine call ....I told the very polite will writer on the end of the line that i lived on.a boat and so i didnt have a postal address ....he wasnt happy with response and initially said they needed an address to send the written will to . I told him I had an of a friend he could see it too ....no he said has to be where your living ....but i replied after I write this will I could change my address in years in the future ....he got annoyed and saud he had anotber appointment. I suspect this is not a free service ....it's a scam and they need an address to invoice bill you and then send the debt collectors around ....avoid this complay

Doing a Co-op online food order? Check this out first.
No stars merited. Approx. 2 months ago I became a member online of the Co-op as I liked that they do quick on the day orders to my area. Had a full order in my basket. They limit the amount you spend so I had approx. £68 in my basket just under the limit. I could not check out at all. I am 77 have never owned a mobile just a landline. I had my landline number on the order. This had been accepted AND NOT REJECTED. I phoned helpline as I was stuck in the order and was worried about my payment details showing and the call was answered by an African male voice. Told him my situation. He asked me some security questions. He told me I CANNOT DO AN ONLINE ORDER WITH CO-OP IF I HAVE A LANDLINE THEY ONLY ACCEPT ORDERS WITH MOBILE PHONE CONTACT NUMBER. I asked for his name and he said ADOUBOWALLE-maybe not exact-and then asked to speak to a manager as I could not believe it was true. He quickly hung up on me. I backtracked and deleted all my order but I was so scared and thought for weeks it was a scam although I saw the protective padlock on the site. I have checked and I am a member, they keep sending food offers the last one on 26/10/2024 for quick delivery. I emailed a complaint to tell them my experience. It was an unmonitored box. I telephoned today to let them know. A male answered and found my email complaint - imagine which goes to an unmonitored box so complaints can be seen after all when they want. He went and spoke to a manager and confirmed you need a mobile to get a food delivery from the co-op so the driver can phone you. Said it is just the way they work and something like cannot be fixed. Can you believe it? They were still able to take my £1 membership fee from my bank.

Streatham Hill has to be one of the most racist shops I have ever been to. The security will harass you from the moment you step in to the moment you leave. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
