Purchased today, Co ops own brand Chicken tikka biriani for £4, awefull, dry , well overpriced .

I don't use my local coop much and today's visit certainly didn't inspire me to go back anytime soon. The male on the till had zero personality. He didn't interact at all, and never even looked at me!... Voir plus

The store manager is vile!!
The store manager is vile!!! She speaks to people like dirt
Bullying is obvious in this store yet nothing gets done about it!
I've made several complaints and not even received an acknowledgement from coop
Irene Dudley road west appalling
Irene in the Dudley road west Tipton coop store thinks it’s okay to talk down to a little disable boy with Down syndrome. Because he was leaning on the costa machine she shouted over from the till if a drink comes out you will pay for it. The little lad is none verbal and had no idea what she was saying just that he was been shouted at and started to become very scare and agitated in which point we had to leave our shopping and leave the store. Irene clearly shouldn’t be working with the public as she has no customer service skills and thinks it’s okay to shout across a busy shop.
just shocking…
just shocking…
Disgusting faulty porridge and they want a receipt to refund 70p! despite sending a picture with co op all over it and also not interested in caring about the customer or good will gesture, it’s put me off them
RACIST staff thought I was going to…
RACIST staff in Leicester thought I was going to steal. There are some older women workers(Karen’s) who assume I can’t afford to shop here due to skin tone. I was putting tuna in my basket and she called the manager over whilst they both watched me shop a few metres away from me. She didn’t even apologise and gave me a dirty look as she walked off. Little do they know I have a professional job and have helped other staff members deal with shoplifters twice over the last few years I have been shopping here. Racism is the thanks I get for it. There is no way that she would have watched me and called the manager over if I had blonde hair and blue eyes.
Corrupt
Corrupt. Play the 'ethical' card but remain the only supermarket to refuse to repay the covid loans they received during the pandemic.
Totally unethical
Generally horrible customer service…
Generally horrible customer service from my local small Co-Op store..
All too often, staff are out on the shop floor dealing with stock. Today was no exception, and on making a polite request for till counter service, the member of staff who came to serve me was less than friendly.
This has been a recurring theme on my visits to this particular store with more than one member of staff - it's as if I'm an inconvenience as a customer. Guess what? I ultimately pay your wages and courtesy costs nothing.
It would seem that staff are clearly not happy and take their frustrations out on the customers - perhaps they feel overworked or have too many bases to cover,
I will now take my custom elsewhere and avoid all Co-Ops in future.
Deceptive selling
Deceptive selling , buy a meal deal for £12 , have 1 side removed as well as deal resulting in being charged £15+ without that removed side. So instead of subbing item they removed and charged singular.
This maybe the last time I ever use co-op which is a shame since ready made cheese burgers are nice , get it ? After deceit I'll even avoid going in store.
Coped alone
Waiting to be served a bell plays a tune to let staff know.man has hit a problem on self serve and can't go any further plus another customer seeks help from staff member Callum leading him to a product issue. Calmly Callum dealt with all three of us while other staff carried on out of sight. Not the first time i have seen this employee go above and beyond his role and think he is amazing! Always polite and helpful having to cope alone! Well done Callum.sue goffs oak coop.
Today at 12.50 at the store on Perry…
Today at 12.50 at the store on Perry St. I was served by a woman who did not accept my new 20f banknote with the image of King Charles. She couldn't explain why? The cash register didn't accept it? She told me to bring another banknote without any justification... She made me very angry and I wanted to top up my electricity key. She kept the key because she couldn't withdraw the payment... The banknote was accepted at the post office without any problems. I had to go back to the Cocp store with other banknotes and I heard nonsense about the fake banknote. It is a scandal that such people are not trained in customer service.
Quality Food
Hi, i shop at my local CO-OP in Downend Bristol & it is so good on food quality & prices - you have to take in mind that they support fair trade & other community charities so that when you shop there you are supporting a multitude of projects that are local & global & because of that & the quality of the food ( & i know this as i have been shopping there many years now & they are far better than Tesco & Asda for quality) i will always shop there.
So CO-OP your range of Ham is the best & also many other products ( the salt & pepper rolls baked freshly everyday are scrumptious too)
& a big shout out to the friendly staff that keep the store running.
Regards
Deborah Crispin

As usual the marked down products were…
As usual the marked down products were charged at the till full price and as usual the monitor for customers is not showing so you have no idea what you have been charged until you get the receipt. I would advise people in future to use the personal cash purchase options to see what you are paying for. Also, one needs to take out a second mortgage to be able to shop there.
Thank you Jane.
I went in Coop endon on Wednesday 22/5. Looking for some Rump steak. There’s was none left in the fridge area. After getting to the till to pay for my other groceries. Jane was quick to go in the store room and find me some. Saving me time and effort to go to another store.
She’s a credit to your store. I always have a lovely welcome off her whenever I pop in. 😊

The co op are a joke when it comes to membership cards, there a several co op stores near me, I went to one today and took two cards, none were the right one even though I got one of them from that particular store, how many cards do I have to carry around. I put my shopping back
Katie from Glasgow
My husband & I rang the helpline with an enquiry about our ISAs. Katie was very helpful & patient with us, listening to our concerns. She contacted the department processing the ISA renewals & got us the answer to our enquiry. Katie’s customer service was exceptional.
Co op Flop !
I became a member last week, I used the online ordering for the first time and despite placing £40 worth goods, the total refused to go beyond £12.45 so I was refused check out because I had ' not reached £15 min spend ' ! I tried to raise the issue via the online problem help forum but all the pre written Q and A focused only on In Store issues.... ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUSLY BACKWARD !
I've no choice but to cancel membership, after wasting 1.2 hrs trying to ' Shop ' with this particular company. A VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE 😕
THIEVES
The lady at the till and the manager both insisted that my money had not left my account even though I showed them it had as I get immediate updates via my app. Their tills were so faulty, they even had to reboot both tills and my account immediately and after being embarrassed by their problems as they made out I was at fault even though they took my money twice. Embarrassing me in my local community. Further more, I didn't even get my reward stamp. So I'm out of money as it left my account twice and I'm out of rewards. My mother told me not to trust co-op as they often take your money. So true. Contacted customer services and all I received in response was sorry. didn't even acknowledge their wrongdoing or the fact I followed their so called reward system and didn't get it. Shameful. Shameful and quite frankly disgusting. No care or consideration for their customers. Steer clear
The best fresh chicken ever!!
We have been buying our Fresh whole Chicken from the Coop for the last few months now after trying Aldi,Asda, tesco, Marks and Spencer as well as our local butchers, Coop wins hands down.plenty of meat, very moist and tastes like a roast chicken shoukd taste. Not over priced. Give it a try you will not be disappointed.
Bought double cream and it’s like milk
Bought double cream and it’s like milk. Poor quality products which are 30% more expensive than other supermarkets. Shelves always half full and yet cages block aisles. No staff around when queues get long. A depressing and frustrating shopping experience. Always. Staff are pleasant though. It’s just a poor relation to other supermarkets unfortunately. Would rather shop at local corner shop.
World's End Chelsea WORST!
World's End Chelsea
Co-Op is one of the worst around my area, they only allow card payments for self service checkouts, meaning that people with cash only have to que for longer at the Tobacco Kiosk and put a whole load of shopping across their small till area. Bad service most of the time. Make your machines take cash or actually open the cash till, which they have NEVER done and they have 2 of them. Wow. Don't waste your time or money here if you can go elsewhere.
Continuous bad service.
Continuous bad service.
I feel pretty strongly that I'm playing Russian roulette every time I place an online order.
If the order is delivered, that in itself is a significant achievement. If the items in the second recite state that the items that I ordered are actually there, that is another achievement.
It is a waste of time to make an official complaint, as the Head Office doesn't respond to any complaints. And The Manager at my local store doesn't give a toss! I've spoken by phone to the "Gentleman." He needs to go on a training course in Customer Service.
Were it not for the fact that I have health problems; that make it practical for me to use The Coop. I would have stopped buying from them ages ago.
