From start to finish, it was a pleasant experience. Clearly, a very highly skilled eye specialist, Mr Shortt diagnosed straight away and commenced treatment which started working from the very same day. After struggling for a year, i have finally managed to regain some quality of life. I can now focus properly on what’s important instead of sitting in front of a fan, with an ice pack on my eyes all day. I have Steven Johnson syndrome and had severe uveitis with ingrowing eyelashes, and that being my only working eye it was absolutely vital for me to get the best treatment out there. I firmly believe i am on the road to recovery now. Highly highly recommend Mr Shortt

Most are very pensive when it comes to fiddling with their eyes, however the experience is far more palatable when you are in the expert care of Mr Shortt. Professional, calm and clear approach gives confidence to see the process through. After care is excellent and my vision now is better than expected.

I would highly recommend Mr Alex Shortt to anyone who requires eye surgery because of the excellent, efficient and prompt urgent attention I received from him recently. My eyesight was extremely poor and had deteriorated to the verge of blindness.
Mr Alex Shortt's manner and brilliant skills are of the highest professional and caring standard one could ever expect to receive. I am now living in a bright new world no longer needing spectacles after wearing bifocal lenses for the past 24 years. There was nothing distressing whatsoever regarding my 2 operations that I received i.e. they were pain free with NO INJECTIONS.
Follow-up treatment was impeccable.
I am one very happy and satisfied patient to have had my eyesight restored by Mr Alex Shortt to perfect vision again. One could not ask for more!

Mr Shortt took great care and time to explain the procedures and was always very reassuring and professional, especially during the actual ops. I was quite worried that my vision was taking a while to be as crisp and sharp as I had expected after having lens replacement in both eyes. He did thorough examinations and tests each time I expressed concern. He said I just needed adjustment time and my sight is perfect now as he said it would be. He is a very busy man and takes pains to not make you feel rushed and consequently appointment times did run late so do expect each visit to be longer than you would estimate.

I found Mr Shortt to be a very warm and caring and would definitely recommend him for any eye procedures you are considering.

I haven't had any treatment, only a consultation, so don't feel able to give a higher rating. However, he was certainly very clear and helpful during the consultation and his manner was pleasant and also such that I felt I could trust his judgment

Fantastic consultant has looked after 3 members of our family. A really caring consultant, will not do anything unecessary. Doesnt limit your appointment time either. Has looked after my mother in law (cancer patient) Father in Law cateracts and Husband with laser suregery.
