I have found Cortigenx to be incredibly beneficial as it confirmed some of the concerns I was having with physical and psychological symptoms that I had struggled with that had gotten progressively worse over time.

After taking this test I learned that my hair was fully saturated to the point where it was higher than the 95th percentile for this test. The range measures 0.0 - 53.7 pg/mg and my results were 66.0 pg/mg.

All processes and procedures were smooth, except for one: Since we submitted several centimeters of hair, and since HCC can measure cortisol levels in different sections of hair, I expected to receive several measurements of cortisol levels over several months. Instead, I received one measurement that is the average cortisol over 3 months. This is helpful, just not what I expected.

The concept that you can check your cortisol levels over a 3 month period with a simple hair test in comparison to several blood tests that you might not have access to anyway is great. The test kit was easy to register, use and send back. Although next time I would get someone else to take the sample as it is a bit tricky to cut if you have longer hair. Results came quickly and you also get a free 30 mins consultation to discuss your results. I need to make lifestyle changes and will retry the test in the future.

Used this service to help me further my cause into getting checked for Cushing's. Even though it is not a diagnosis, it will help me build up a cohesive body of information to send to my GP.
