Great service from Creative Fittings
Great service from Creative Fittings. We had our IKEA TV unit assembled and mounted to the wall by Trevor. It was a challenging job because the wall was plasterboard and no studs were found. Trevor got it mounted perfectly very fast. He was also very happy to hang two large mirrors as an extra job.
Customer service was excellent throughout and the job was only booked one day before the job.
Well done Creative Fitting and keep up the good work 👏

Good fit poor experience
Wardrobes were assembled very quickly (2.5 hours) and we are happy with the finished product.
Our experience with the fitters was less satisfactory. Having paid the installation fee of €546.25 I was more than surprised to receive a call informing me that there would be an extra fee of €12.50 to cut a hole in the wardrobe back panel to access the plug for the lighting. The gentleman concerned was quite rude on the phone when I questioned this and threatened to just leave the items freestanding in the room. My wife, who was working from home witnessed him gesturing rudely while I was speaking with him on the phone.
When finished the fitters left all of the empty boxes in the bath of the main bathroom and shower room of an adjacent room (neither of which they were working in). They didn't inform us of this or ask if it was ok to do so.
The fitting work was excellent. The experience with the team was not.

Niall, Thank you for your feedback. Firstly we are delighted that you are happy with your finished product. We would have been very happy to discuss all this with you directly.
To clarify, your assembly service was booked through IKEA, Creative Fitting have worked with IKEA for around 7 years as a trusted partner providing assembly services to IKEA customers. Regarding your comments where you were less than satisfied: Your complaints center on a charge that is agreed by IKEA because it is not possible to predict such charges while booking in store.
Regarding your issue with extra charges, this is something IKEA’s staff are meant to explain to you when you book assembly services through them.
Separately, you were informed of these charges prior to accepting the assembly booking via text message to which you replied with “Understand. Okay to go ahead”.
You had the option to avoid the additional charge by choosing another socket available in the room, which could have been used to connect the lights as pointed out by the Team Leader on site.
Despite the information in the aforementioned text and your understanding of it, you kept our team leader on the phone for quite some time arguing about the additional charge.
The team leader offered you to leave the unit freestanding, so you can take care of the socket yourself at no charge. That was not a threat, he offered that in good faith.
“rude hand gestures” - using hand gestures whilst struggling to have discussion in a language that is not your first language, with a customer who is arguing with you (about paying €12.50 for extra work OR using another set of sockets), in our opinion does not qualify as rude.
We handpick our staff and know every one of them very well, being rude is not something they’d do. In fact the crew you had in your home are the calmest, most helpful we ever had working for us.
All this could have been avoided with proper planning prior to fitting.
There was very limited space in the room for the crew to work, let alone store the packing. It obviously needed to be put somewhere so they could carry out the work. Whilst they were not working in the bathroom or shower room these are rooms that were closest to where the work was being completed without blocking any other passage. Obstruction of the hallway would have been unsafe.
When the crew arrived, your wife handed them the plan, told them which room the robes needed to be built, then disappeared into her home office for a call for an hour without any kind of briefing about the position of the robe, sockets, skirting boards or anything at all, none of which is ever disclosed on the plans. This created a delay to our schedule impacting customers later that day, time that is unpaid for, as a result of this and your phone conversation our crew spent 45 minutes extra on a 2 hour job, for €12.50.
When the crew arrived, your wife handed them the plan, told them which room the robes needed to be built, then disappeared into her home office for a call for an hour without any kind of briefing about the position of the robe, sockets, skirting boards or anything at all, none of which is ever disclosed on the plans. Great service
They are very professional. Their Customer Service was very efficient from first contact to accommodating a last minute request. The assembly crew arrived on time and took care of my entire Walk-in closet from IKEA and a TV unit within 3 hours (I'd certainly spend days on my own).
Look no further if you are looking for reliable service

Creative Fitting assembled all our furniture and wall mounted / fitted floating units, mirrors and TV. They have also designed our utility room storage and hacked IKEA PAX wardrobes at a fraction of a price that we would pay for custom-made built in wardrobes and cabinets. Their service is reliable and affordable and Trevor is great to work with.

Trevor assembled an IKEA table for me. Perfect service. I submitted my inquiry, he came back with a quote for the work, we agreed a day and time, he arrived, got the job done hassle free. I would highly recommend this service. Well worth it.

I can highly recommend Creative Fitting. The experience from beginning to end was fantastic. I had already been to Ikea and had my wardrobe design. Once I contacted Trevor he watched stock levels to ensure everything I needed was available and then went to Ikea, picked everything, delivered and built my wardrobes. They also take away all the packaging. This service was great and saved me time and hassle. I would definitely use them again and have absolutely no problem recommending them.

A huge shout out to Trevor and his team mate I can highly recommend this company for superb, efficient, swift work. Trevor shopped, delivered, supplied and fitted exactly the layout I wanted and suggested some more. This company does all kinds of assembly furniture. The only thing I had to do was make a phone call, give a few measurements and a plan of what I wanted. My wardrobes are all from ikea and I am over the moon. Once again many thanks to Trevor and the team, best of luck guys.
