Bestilte 2 Blade Guards til andre knive. Desværre havde de ikke i træ til den kniv jeg havde købt. Alligevel skriver de en personlig hilsen og vedlægger en simpel Guard til den nye kniv.
Kan kun være tilfreds.

Horrible returns or repairs policy. Literally this had one cut and broke on a fraction of pressure. Cheap poor manufacturing. When I asked if they could help they told me to get it fixed on my own accord.

If this is supposed to be a quality retailer you’d expect them to swallow their pride and take the hit for a customers expectations/ experience. Do yourself a favour and don’t buy from this business who don’t value customer satisfaction. Cheap Japanese blade with brittle metal.

I wasn’t even asking for a full refund. I’d have even taken a replacemen. Yet they didn’t want anything to do with me.

On another note the actual blade and handle feels cheap AF. I’d have happily bought more from them as they looked really good at first. Turns out they are small minded business people with no care for customers needs. Clearly you make bad blades and can’t handle returns. Suck it up and take the hit if you’ve made a bad product.

I ask you, if I moved into a home and the bricks started falling apart after I shut the door, whose fault is it. The building company. Sort your life out cutting edge.

I have now purchased four knives from Cutting Edge - unfortunately one had to be returned - not because there was anything wrong with it - I just didn't love it.

Awesome company, ordered a higonokami from them so not a huge purchase, however the customer service was incredible. Super quick delivery and lots of emails with updates. Will purchase off these again. Bonus points for adding plasters to the order, made me laugh!

After scouring the internet for weeks across a lot of knife websites, I came across this website! An abundance of knives to choose from and all great quality as well as value for money. The delivery was really quick and well packaged. I loved the addition of plasters in the box, great humour. I bought the Takamura Hamono SG2 Santoku knive along with a double sided leather strop and the knife guard.

The knife itself is a gorgeous, a real distinct hamone and the exterior cladding itself is super resistant to rusting and discolouring. The knife came laser sharp out of the box and keeps its edge extremely well.

The leather strop is of good quality leather and I use it after almost every use of the knife before I put it away.
The knife guard was really cheap and is a must have for your knife unless you're hanging it up or have another solution. The exterior is hard and well wearing, the interior is soft and will definitely not scratch your blade.

All in all I can't recommend this company enough

I ordered a Konosuke GS+ Petty 150mm with a matching saya on January 3rd - the knife arrived by DPD courier on January 5th, super quick! The knife was packaged very securely to prevent damage and they even included some plasters in the package which was a great touch :-D

I've bought a couple of knives from here now. The first was a smooth and simple process. The second was fraught with difficulties, all handled beautifully by Ally and James to the point that I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Firstly I had a query that was answered quickly and helpfully over email (obviously not a difficulty but just another example of expedient customer service). Next I couldn't get the website to do what I needed during ordering - again, quickly and simply resolved via email. Actually they over-delivered here too. Then the knife I'd chosen didn't come into stock when expected. I was immediately offered alternatives and a timeline if I stuck to my original order - I decided to wait. Finally, this timeline ended up being dramatically longer than expected. I was kept updated at regular intervals and given the warm fuzzy feeling that all was in hand. Indeed it was and my fabulous knife arrived today. Packaging was perfectly satisfactory - no complaints here at all. Thanks Ally and James.
