Die Smartphone gesteuerten Thermostate kosten ein Vermögen und machen was sie wollen.
Seit dem 06.01.2026 warte ich auf eine Antwort vom Support. Diverse Nachfragen bleiben unbeantwortet.
The DeviSmart device purchased was a struggle to get connected to my devices, and since then, I am not sure the "smart" device has bothered to be in touch with the app - so it was an expensive alternative to a working non-smart controller.
The support from Danfoss has been unhelpful, and they have demonstrated consistently that they don't understand the problem, and therefore the proposed "solution" would not work.
I will never buy another Danfoss product again.
If buying the DeviSmart controller, I would also add that the apps are appalling - very confusing, and unhelpful.
As an example, if you edit a "room", one might expect it allows one to change features of a device, but it only allows editing of the room name (from memory).
Overall, it felt like the product was in development, and the app was an early prototype, not a finished product.
The installation booklet was inaccurate/ wrong in places.
With the apps, I could see there was no communication from my mobile device to the server or device, which indicates the "smart" functionality of the system was broken, and the support didn't seem to understand this.
Simply the worst product I have ever had the misfortune to purchase matched by the worst customer service.
Simple drops out of connection and cannot use.
If send message get either no response or watch a video that is of no use. Avoid.
The Danfoss website is terrible and trying to contact customer service is a nightmare. It's almost as if they made everything extremely difficult on purpose.
Got a three way valve Hs3 two years old started dripping from shaft being an aircraft engineer stripped it down Two O rings completely gone dry and flat contacted Danfoss tech team told me no O rings fitted they use compression joint's (Muppets) contacted again I was told they don't supply I have fitted two just a bit undersize seems to be holding up. Bad first can't be bothered advise then no help whatsoever
The software is buggy. The child locks get turned on by itself and when I ask the support team for a reason or how to avoid this, I get no response. I would steer clear of these if I were you. The thermostats also go offline for no reason.
Die Smartphone-gesteuerten Thermostate scheinen eher nach dem Zufallsprinzip als nach vorgegebener Einstellung zu funktionieren. Und eine hilfreiche Unterstützung der Firma? Fehlanzeige.
Awful company. Not willing to help advise how the thermostats work, whilst on the phone the advisor kept saying watch the videos, I've watched the videos and just like the thermostats, they are over engineered. Far too complicated.
Opdatering 7.9.2023
DanFoss har sendt mig nogle messingstykker der skal sætte på palen, på ventilen. Med det resultet, at 4 ud af 7 radioatorer er varme. Dette på en dag, hvor udetemperaturen er +24 grader. Termostaterne er sat til 19 grader.
Edit:
Danfoss Eco 2 har en indbygget defekt, der gør termosaten risikere at fejle, med det resultat der åbnes helt op for radiatoren.
Den mekanisme som skubber til palen på radiatorventilen er lavet af plastik. Plastikken går i stykker og palen kan ikke længere manipuleres med det resultat, at radiotoren er åbnet helt. Danfoss Eco 2 kan herefter ikke bruges længere.
På 3 ud af 7 enheder er fejlen opstået indenfor 6-9 måneder efter køb.
Jf. korrepsondence med DanFoss kundeservice er der tale om en kendt fejl på deres produkt.

Vi har installeret to Danfoss Ally termostater, som nu er stoppet med at virke efter en måned (lige efter en firmware-opdatering).
Der er ingen form for vejledning til fejlfinding på deres hjemmeside eller i appen, så her er man på herrens mark.
Man kan som privatperson ikke få support af Danfoss. Ringer man ind til dem, får man at vide at man skal kontakte sin lokale installatør - det må man så selv betale for.
Dybt forkasteligt at fralægge sig ansvaret for sine produkter på den måde.
Vi må løse det med en reklamation ved forhandleren.
