I could not recommend the Beverley store and their staff enough. I brought my dog in to get her paw print done after being advised by staff to come after she had been groomed. The staff fussed over my dog, which she loved, and the calming environment helped get a great paw print for printing. Upon collection the staff were chatty and polite, giving you that feeling that you’re more than just a customer. The product was handled and packaged with care and I am over the moon with how it turned out. I cannot thank the staff enough for providing such a quick, friendly service and have already recommended to family and friends.

I’ve been a customer for several years. I was never a woman into jewellery (it never phased me to be completely honest) until I came across the handmade pieces from DD and now it’s the only place I go to! The team are all so lovely, they’ll meet your needs making you feel like the only one in store and the customer care is second to none.

My mum recently passed away and I wanted to get something in memory of her. I was warmly greeted by Alex G in the Lincoln store and upon arrival we were asked if we wanted a glass of tasty Pimms in the warm weather. I went in with the intentions of buying the Gold ID bracelet with my mums handwriting engraved + the nickname she used to call me. However, upon trying it on, I felt it didn’t look quite right on my dainty wrist with my Gold signature bangle that I had in memory of my grandparents.

Alex gave us so much time, even offering for us to go upstairs to try pieces on to avoid the crowds, emphasising that we needed to get the piece right in honour of my mum. She was gentle, understanding, didn’t pressure us and provided lots of advice of other pieces that might go well allowing me to try on multiple pieces! I was in heaven haha.

I came home with the gold ‘Always With Me’ love token bracelet. I took in a card with my mums writing and we toyed with different variations of what to put on the back. The whole team gave their input and it was beyond appreciated. The problem however was that because the heart charm is small I couldn’t fit both my mums name and her nickname for me on the same item. Therefore, I had her name engraved on the back of the bracelet and went in search of something extra so I had my nickname with me too.

Alex was wearing the gold mini chain with an initial and explained that you can add charms so she has her son’s birthstone on it (if I remember correctly - sorry if that’s wrong!). Anyway, I tried one on in the shop with my Gold St. Christopher that I never take off and it was perfect. Therefore, I also purchased the 16” chain with the letter ‘B’ in memory of the nickname my mum used to call me. I already have plans on getting my mums birthstone added to the necklace in future! It looks so dainty and perfect with my St.Christopher!

As I live in Nottingham, Alex organised for me to have the pieces delivered to my house via DPD. The pieces had been made, engraved and arrived within 2-3 working days and just in time for me to wear for my mum’s funeral in a few days time - which I wasn’t expecting the turn around to be so quick.

These pieces are so precious to me and mean so much. I can’t begin to thank all the team enough and especially to Alex who has honestly made my entire week despite what we’re going through at the moment. Thank you. A big shoutout Can’t wait to come back into store.

I received 3 pieces from my husband and children for a milestone birthday. Upon opening the first one and removing it from the pouch the bracelet snapped in my hand. The solder was poor and non existent on the link that had broken.
The second item which was a bangle felt misshapen on my wrist and not like my other DD bangles. I was really disappointed and it really took the shine off my birthday.
We returned them to the Grimsby store. We found the manager to be dismissive and rude. She made me feel like I was being a pain and questioned my concerns over the bangle. The sales assistant was lovely but it’s a shame about the manager.
I have purchased and been gifted many Daniella Draper pieces but this experience means unfortunately I won’t purchase any further items.
I understand that on rare occasions the usual quality isn’t met and this wouldn’t have discouraged me from purchasing again but the customer service was upsetting and not something I want to experience again.
UPDATE…Amelia was superb with dealing with any issues raised and has more than restored my faith. She really cares about the customer experience and took time to speak to me. Such a fantastic customer service team. I look forward to purchasing many more beautiful pieces. Many thanks again.
