Danxon binoculars – Overpriced Temu product with terrible return policy
I ordered binoculars from Danxon for hiking, but they turned out to be far too heavy and clunky for that purpose.
What makes it worse is that these are essentially identical (same buttons, same specifications) to much cheaper binoculars available on Temu — just with a different body finish and a much higher price tag.
When I requested a return within the 14-day window, their customer service (Nola) tried to discourage me with several scare tactics: threatening a 15% deduction, telling me I had to ship it back to Hong Kong at my own expense (with warnings about customs, taxes, and possible loss), and even suggesting I declare a lower customs value.
Only later did I discover on their own website that they actually have a return address in Germany (Ginsheim-Gustavsburg). Their support email directly contradicted their published return policy.
This is a classic case of a company selling cheap products at premium prices while making returns as difficult and expensive as possible.
I do not recommend Danxon. Poor product, misleading marketing, and very customer-unfriendly return process.
