Prompt shipping, however, despite buying two pairs of trousers were supposed to be the same size, they were actually different in length and bagginess around the waist/groin area.
Exchanges would have incurred extra shipping costs, so I have opted to turned up the trousers that were very long, and given my son a belt!

Inaccurate sizing. Sadly, these trousers were wildly bad fit. Measuring my child, I ordered size 26 waist and Regular 28 inside leg. However, these trousers have incredibly low rise (how high the trousers go up the waist). The rise is about 3 inches shorter in reaching waist than it should be, my child's underwear was peaking out with about 2 inches. Otherwise the quality is superb, but please be aware if you have a child that doesn't fit the standard measurements, going only by David Luke's measurements may not be the best, as they will not fit. It would be better to go by sizing by age (my boy is unusually slim and tall for is age and trousers by other brands are usually too big around waist. David Luke's were fitting in waist and length, but too short in rise. So bad that I have to return, even tough I like them)

But I’ve found the bottom of the trousers often come undone and I’m left sewing them up

So I have buy direct from the online David Luke store
Luckily my son only has a year and a half left to wear these trousers
And with only 50% attendance last school year I managed to make do and mend

I'm awarding two stars as the trousers I ordered arrived the next day. I was very disappointed by the product itself. I ordered a junior trouser style, following the instructions for measuring your child, and expected to receive trousers that followed these measurements. Sadly, the trouser waist measured two inches smaller than described and in addition the fabric was rough and unpleasant to touch. This was a surprise as I've ordered really high quality and well fitting trousers from David Luke in the past.
