Application rejected with no meaningful guidance
I had a very disappointing onboarding experience with DEGIRO.
After applying, my registration was closed due to “policy/security requirements”, but no meaningful explanation was provided. I used a valid passport and provided the requested information, so the lack of clarity was frustrating.
I understand that brokers have regulatory and security obligations, but the customer experience around rejection is poor. If an application is declined, customers should at least receive a clearer explanation or guidance on whether the issue can be corrected.
Based on this experience, I would not recommend DEGIRO for anyone looking for a straightforward onboarding process.

Degiro is good in trading but miserable…
Degiro is good in trading but miserable in credit dividends or cash distribution.
They deduct tax on tax free products and do not bother to reply if you complain.
My highlight is that a dividend for Ambev was booked payable is 2027.
No good for returns , option , crypto or any advanced products be aware
