Zamknięcie konta to koszmar.

Nagle wymyślają różne problemy (np. wygaśnięcie dowodu osobistego, który defacto jest ważny do 2032) byleby przedłużyć proces zamknięcia konta i jeszcze ostatni raz skasować za podłączenie do giełdy.

I am a Degiro customer from Poland and my experience with this broker has been extremely disappointing.

First, incoming transfers.
I made deposits in EUR from my EUR bank account. Each time the money disappeared for about 7 business days. Nothing was credited, no clear status, no automatic information. Only after I contacted Support did the funds suddenly appear in my Degiro account the next day. This happened on two separate deposits, so it is clearly a pattern, not an isolated incident.

Second, withdrawals and currency nonsense.
I cannot withdraw EUR back to the same EUR account I used for the deposits. Degiro forces me to convert EUR to PLN and only then allows a withdrawal. Because my original reference account at Degiro was in EUR, this means I am effectively forced to lose money on FX conversion just to get my own funds back.

To work around this I had to:

* make a new deposit from a PLN account,
* again wait and write to Support asking where my deposit is,
* then change my reference account to the PLN account,
* and only after that I could request a PLN withdrawal (even though the original deposits were in EUR from a EUR account).

Third, the “test” withdrawal that still has not arrived.
I requested a test withdrawal of 100 PLN on 27.11. Today is 05.12 and the money still has not reached my bank account. I opened a ticket with Support and their first response was to ask me whether I had checked my bank account. After more than a week of waiting, this kind of reply feels like mockery, not customer service.

Honestly, the whole experience with Degiro so far looks and feels like a potential scam:

* deposits “float” somewhere for a week until you complain,
* you are forced into FX conversions you did not ask for,
* withdrawals take far too long and Support’s first reaction is to pretend you might not have checked your bank account.

At this point I am continuing the email exchange with Support only in the hope of getting my money out. I cannot recommend Degiro to anyone based on what I have experienced.

Dwa tygodnie temu wysłałem przelew z mojego podpiętego konta do Degiro. Ciągle nie dotarł. I nie wiadomo co sie stało bo nie otrzymałem odpowiedzi na maile. Fatalna obsługa klienta. To sa kpiny po prostu...

W czasie rozmowy z obsluga klienta wyjasniono mi ze maja problem z zaksiegowaniem grupy transferow ze wzgledu cytuje "missing data" przyznają że wina leży po ich stronie i że mają problemy techniczne z bankiem który administruje płatnościami. Ta sytuacja calkowicie dyskwalifikuje tego brokera w moich oczach. Czekam juz ponad 2 tygodnie i pieniedzy nie ma.

Przelew dotarł po 3 tygodniach. Podsumowując nie polecam brokera któremu zajmuje 3 tygodnie zaksięgowanie wpłaty. Tym bardziej że nie chodzi tu o drobne.

I tried depositing a substantial amount into my Degiro account in April, but it has still not been processed. After many emails and calls, I was finally informed that Degiro changed banks from Deutsche Bank to Citi around the same time, which delayed my deposit processing. After more weeks of chasing (and payment still unprocessed), I finally got a response that the amount was refunded, but for whatever reason, Degiro/Citi transferred it to a random omnibus account at my bank. I had to follow up with my bank only to learn that they have no idea what this bank account is and have not seen my refund. After more weeks of chasing through the phone (Degiro stopped replying to my emails by this point), my case is still unresolved; in the last interaction, it was hinted to me that I should find someone at my bank who can connect with Degiro to investigate the issue.

DEGIRO: WHY DID YOU SEND THE MONEY TO A RANDOM ACCOUNT TO WHICH YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT IS, AND WHY THE HELL DO YOU EXPECT YOUR CLIENT TO FIND SOMEONE AT A LARGE GLOBAL BANK WHO CAN HELP FIGURE OUT YOUR MESS? - THIS IS A B2B TRANSACTION…

Terrible and extremely incompetent and unprofessional communication overall, and let's not even get started on their problem-solving abilities. It’s been two months, and my case is still unresolved --- never recommend it to anyone and definitely never use it again!!!!
