Desicart Avis 

Ver bad service. They are not attending my query for over 2 weeks, I have to and email several times to get a feedback. I was told 3 times that they will get back to me but no one manage to call or send a message. This is not the first time they have replaced items. They do it on purpose so they can get rid of other items. On top they will push you to put and review with greed of discount on the next order. If your order is less then £50 they will not apply the discount. This is a scam.
We ordered porotta and asked for porotta in replacement because the brand was not available, the operator who called said ok they will send a replacement, but instead they sent a local paratha brand which is different to porotta.

I’ve been ordering from desicart for about 3 years now and I’m very happy with them! Just before lockdown, we moved from London to a smaller town in Devon and discovered that the local Indian grocery store isn’t great. Their stock was very inconsistent and small and it was inconvenient to get to.

I really struggled the first year we were here, stocking on items when we were eventually allowed to visit London. Until I discovered desicart!

I find that the ordering from desicart online every couple of months is cheaper and more convenient for me.

Their curry leaves, plantains and coconuts are excellent quality. The coconuts in particular are better than what the local grocery stores stock.

If they run out of stock for something after the order was placed, they call me and confirm the substitutions. I prefer this as there are no surprises when the order arrives.

I highly recommend them and will continue to buy my Indian groceries here.

I’ve ordered from here multiple times and the delivery is always quick, the quality is always amazing. Very happy with my purchases!

Didn’t get delivery on time as I ordered to come on Friday 26th instead it came on Monday. It’s was very disappointing as I needed the things that I ordered on Sunday. So I don’t think so will order anything from there there anymore. Although the goods I ordered were good.

Worse company they are saying I ordered weekday when I have proof I ordered for 20 April 2024. I paid 25 for mangos because my sons not well and he enjoys mangoes these lot you cll them no apology they keep saying I severed weekday delivery. Avoid these crooks. If you can’t deliver a set date then don’t allow the customer to have that option!!!!!crooks
Additionally the liars have now cancelled my order. Worse company don’t consider using this company.

I was unhappy with the freshness of the curry leaves, and though you gave. arefund what I would prefer is getting fresh leaves instead.

Give this company a wide birth.
Ordered food for a Ramadan party in plenty of time.
Delivery was delayed for several reasons , most of them blaming me the customer who had waited in all day.
The food arrived 3 days after agreed delivery and was spoiled, so had to be thrown away. Clearly been left in a van all weekend

When I challenged, I was told my address was wrong that's why they couldn't deliver , despite me even sending pictures of my property to aid in the safe arrival of my food.

In summary, they blame the client and provide a third rate service.
Do not make my mistake !

Really good company - great selection (a lot more than my local grocery store) and good prices. I wanted to add some things after I placed my order and they made that very easy for me. They even phoned me to discuss substitution when one of the items I had ordered wasn’t available. Shipping was fast, well packaged, and the fresh produce was really fresh.
It was my first order with them, and I will certainly use them again.

I used to order groceries from Desicart, and the quality was consistently excellent, always delivered on time.

Purchased items that were delivered on the 24th of Oct. One item was not available and i was told that it takes 3-5 business days for a refund. After repeated emails I am yet to get a refund. Absolutely disgusted with the service - fraudulent company. Don't buy from them unless absolutely necessary.

Just received a response to this review from desicart. Even worse, not only is desicart accusing a customer of posting false information but as of 13.47 on the 9th of November, no refund is showing up in my account. Unless I can see proof of repayment from desicart, my review stands. Even if the refund is finally made, it has taken 12 business days to make this refund, which is unacceptable.

Prices are reasonable and delivered quickly. Best place to buy Indian groceries.
