Good experience just be patient

I have bought 2 grinders from them in the past and been satisfied with the process. You just NEED to be extra patient and not expect it for a while as the item can be in preorder or shipping can take a while. They are a real company not a charity.

All good but no tracking from Asia to Europe

Initially 1 star based on update / communication from their support but it is fundamentally 5 stars.

Ordered and paid. No further communication by DF. Asked about status, no response but my grinder has mysteriously received a prepared DHL label.

Unfortunately no shipping update, based on the FAQ and email information tracking only works only when with the final carrier. Can confirm, works when in Europe. Shipping from Singapore to Europe was not trackable. Once in Europe standard delivery time here with DHL / local carrier.

All well packed and in good order. No import tax/VAT. I guess they ship at cost to a European subsidiary and pay therefore minimal tax only and ship from there to the final customer.

Issue is that Aliexpress and Temu set the standard for shipping speed and also tracking. It is annoying when this does not work. But it still arrives in time (14 days after payment for me) so recommended.

The worst experience ever

The worst experience ever! Avoid at all cost!
They would put on the website "in stock/available" and after you place the order you, you don't get it within the timeframe that you paid for. Why? Because they say, in stock means YOU CAN ENTER THE PRE-ORDER WAITING LIST!! Paid for expedite delivery "within 4 days delivery", and received it after a month...and guess what! I had to change the colour and get what was available to be shipped ASAP, otherwise I should have waited at least 2 more months to get it shipped from Singapore.
Please be aware that the company is not based where you think. It is in Singapore I believe, so expect a serious delay in shipping. Good product but horrible purchasing and customer care experience.

Still waiting for a reply!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

This company shows a blatant disregard for customer service and warranty commitments. Shockingly, they retaliate against customers reporting defective items by issuing threats and compromising private data. I am deliberately withholding my order ID to protect myself from the harassment and personal attacks they have inflicted on others. I highly recommend steering clear of this brand.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY

Regardless of warranty issues, who's right and who's wrong, a company should never be posting customer information publicly. DO NOT TRUST this company as they have already proven to mishandle and use your data for nefarious means. Do not trust them with any personal info: name, address, phone number. And especially DO NOT TRUST them with payment information. If they are willing to post customer information publicly, who knows what's being done with payment data.

UPDATE 03/01/2026 : I don't know how to reply to the merchant's reply but I'm doing so here.
I don't think it quite matters if the issue is resolved. The original reviewer stated they got a full refund, good. But my review is not concerned about who is in the right or wrong in that case. It may have been user error for all I know.

I don't know, I saw the number posted in the merchant reply. That does not change the fact that personal customer information was replied to in a public manner and that is not how a company should operate. What steps are being taken to prevent this from occurring again in the future and how can we trust that?
Why would I be willing to provide an order number to link me to personal data to a company that has already tried to intimidate and leak customer information.
I think seeing a customer's information written in a merchant reply with my own eyes is enough experience to write a review for the comany.

[UPDATE: Full Refund] They made it right eventually, but buyer beware.

RESOLVED: To be fair to the merchant, after my initial review got some attention (also thanks to a quite popular Reddit post), DF64coffee's management team reached out to me once again. But this time they apologized for the initial nightmare, completely reversed their decision, and issued a full refund while letting me keep the grinder to fix locally.

I’m updating this to give them credit for eventually stepping in and making it right financially (this is also testified by the update review). However, I'm leaving my original experience below. The initial refusal to honor the warranty and my phone number stayed for a good three days for the whole web to see.

Potential buyers deserve to know what it took to get a refund, and what are the risks of purchasing from them. Happy with the final outcome, but buyer beware.

Original Review:
If you are in the UK, avoid this dropshipping storefront at all costs. They actively target UK consumers but operate with illegal "Terms of Service" that completely violate the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.

I purchased a DF54 grinder, and within the first six months (January 2026), it developed a mechanical defect. Under UK law, if a fault occurs within six months, the burden of proof is on the seller, and they are legally required to cover all costs of returning the defective item. Instead, they hid behind their own illegal store policies, demanding I pay international shipping and customs duties both ways just for them to look at it. A website's internal policies cannot legally override statutory consumer rights, but they refuse to acknowledge this.

Furthermore, be aware that they falsify international customs documents by drastically under-declaring the value of the grinder to evade taxes, which legally leaves the buyer liable for the outstanding HMRC tax bill.

The absolute worst part of dealing with this company is their extortionate intimidation tactics. When I informed them their policies were illegal, initiated a bank chargeback, and stated I would leave an honest review, they responded by explicitly threatening to publish my correspondence and order details online. To scare me into silence, they literally pasted my full home address, my personal mobile number, and my partial Visa card details at the bottom of their email.

Threatening to dox customers and weaponize their private data over a broken coffee grinder is a massive breach of GDPR.

UPDATE - 24/02/2026
The merchant’s response below is demonstrably false, and their actions speak louder than their words. I am providing a factual, point-by-point correction:

1. The Claim: "At no point have we published or intended to publish any customer’s private information. Protecting customer data is taken seriously."
The Reality: In their original reply to this very review, the merchant publicly posted my personal phone number for the internet to see. This review has been flagged to Trustpilot for a privacy violation. Furthermore, I have timestamped emails where they appended my full home address and partial Visa card details to a threat stating they would publish my data if I left a review.

2. The Claim: "The customer declined to follow recommended diagnostic steps and demanded an immediate replacement without inspection."
The Reality: I fully engaged with their support team. I provided photos and details of the internal mechanical failure. The merchant admitted in writing they "cannot determine" the cause. I did not refuse an inspection; I refused their illegal demand that I pay international shipping and customs duties to return a defective item.

3. The Claim: "We do not override statutory rights... international warranty assessments may require the product to be returned for inspection... at the buyer's expense."
The Reality: Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, if a fault develops within the first six months, the legal burden of proof is on the seller, and the seller must bear all costs of returning the defective item. A merchant’s internal "cross-border policies" do not supersede UK consumer law.

4. The Claim: "We categorically deny any falsification of customs documentation."
The Reality: I possess an email where the merchant explicitly admits to drastically under-declaring the value of the grinder to evade UK import VAT.

I stand by my original review. Do not trust this merchant with your money or your personal data.

Let's go head on

Let's go head on. Their shipping is slow. It may take weeks between placing an order and getting it delivered. If you can't take it - move on.

But if you have some time - this is a great company. Their products are fantastic. Their prices are great. They respond to requests within a day. They honestly addressed every issue I had (like they sent a wrong model and quickly replaced it, explained how to clean the grinder until I was happy).

So they are honestly trying to provide high quality products and keep the prices low at the expense of slower shipment. I think it's fair.

No warranty or customer service

No support when coffee machine arrived broken. Steam pipe broken off and water leaks everywhere. It does not function at all. Only suggestion is to use the WeChat app (I tried however could not get account started). No acknowledgement that the machine did not work. No offer of assistance. Just said that I could pay to send the broken machine back at my expense. Not worth the cost on a $700 machine.

I find this misleading as…

I find this misleading as the item was listed as being in stock in the website for UK users at the time of purchase. But this is actually a international shipment. It took 7 days to get the tracking code, and the tracking code took 3 weeks to be 'trackable' in the UK.

It worth 3 stars because you get what you paid in terms of the quality of the product.

To clarify, the product was indeed in stock at the time of purchase, but it is fulfilled via international shipping, which is stated at checkout. You selected standard (free) shipping, which prioritises affordability over speed and you paid $0 for shipping.

For transparency, express shipping to the UK typically costs USD 60–80, and we also absorb import taxes and duties on behalf of our customers. As a result, our margins on this order were very slim.

Tracking for standard international shipments can take several days to be activated locally, which is normal for cross-border logistics.

Customers who require faster delivery are encouraged to select expedited shipping or purchase from a local retailer at a higher price point, in your case you made a good deal of savings.

We always aim to provide the best value possible, and we appreciate your acknowledgment of the product quality.

However, it's a little sad we feel that you give us a 3 star when you got a best price and afterservice from our engineers from us which we strive to achieve.

Today I received DF54 (ordered on January 6). The box is a little wrinkled, but everything seems to be fine. Even the needle is calibrated to Zero. The wire is quite long, which is convenient. Everything is OK with static, even without humidification. If you have 54mm, it is advisable to purchase a cup separately, it will hold well in its native holder with an elastic band.

Unfair cancellation policies and lack of transparency

I ordered a DF64V V2 grinder with an initially stated delivery timeframe of mid to late December.

After the purchase, I was informed that delivery would be delayed until February 2026. When I requested a cancellation due to this substantial change, the seller refused a refund unless I accepted significant deductions (5% fee plus USD 80 shipping), despite the fact that nothing had been shipped.

Repeated references were made to a “no refund” policy, even though the delivery terms were changed unilaterally and significantly after purchase. The issue was only resolved after escalating the matter through my credit card provider, who issued a full refund.

From my experience, EU customers should be very cautious. The handling of pre-orders, delivery delays, and refund requests lacks transparency and does not appear customer-friendly.
