Diecast Model Centre is a family owned and operated online model shop based in Somerset (UK) that was established in 2005.
At Diecast Model Centre, we believe that collecting models or giving them as gifts doesn't have to be expensive and in line that our core values are to offer our customers models of exceptional value and to provide a first-class shopping experience.
On our website you'll find all kinds of models not sold by many other retailers; models from brands you may have heard of such as Bburago, Maisto, Oxford Diecast and Solido, and from brands you may not have heard of such as Cararama, Model Car Group, Motormax and Welly.
We aim to make buying from us easy and enjoyable. Our online store is designed to be customer friendly, but should you have any queries either before, during or after making your purchase, we're here to help, either by email, phone or if you prefer, self-help with our comprehensive FAQ's.
Behind the scenes, we'll work tirelessly to get your order out on time with all in-stock items despatched within one working day. And, we won't skimp on the packaging either, using quality materials - mostly recycled or recyclable - so that your model has the best chance of reaching you in the same perfect condition as it leaves us.

Very poor delivery
Very poor delivery. It took them 3 (!) days to dispatch a car. WHY? Ordered on Sunday. They only shipped on Wednesday, while initial email said delivery on Thursday. Now it looks like Friday or Saturday. Absolutely 19th century approach. Try to wait with a child who is expecting his new car.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear you were disappointed with the delivery timeframe.
To clarify, your order was placed on Sunday, and as stated in our delivery information, dispatch occurs within three working days—Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday in this case. Your order was dispatched on Wednesday, which is in line with the expectations set out on our website.
At checkout, the estimated delivery window provided was 4th–6th March, and tracking indicates your parcel will arrive on the 6th, within the quoted timeframe. We do offer a faster shipping option for those who need their order more urgently, but this was not selected at checkout.
Lastly, you mention the recipient is a child. Please note, as indicated in the product description, this item is rated 14+ and is intended for collectors.

I have to give them a one star.
They charge quite a lot to pay to add your personalised registration to your car.
It is also clear you cannot buy the personalised registration unless you buy a specific vehicle which they can be added to.
I recieved my car and registration seperately and when I emailed customer service they said i have cut and apply the registration myself.
I paid £4 for sticky paper. They didnt even make the cuts for me.
They said this was correctly advertised on the website as somewhere under a bunch of text it mentions - "for you to apply to your model". Which can be misinterpreted in many ways.
They are charging me delivery fees to return the items.

Great first experience
Just used Diecast Model Centre for the first time and very impressed. Ordered a competitively priced Spark 1/43 Lotus F1 Car, which arrived quickly and well packed for safe delivery. Throughout and post-delivery I was contacted with updates on progress, and to check I was satisfied. I have since placed a 2nd Order for a Pre-Order of an Aston Martin F1 Car

Great people making fab models!
Seeing all those 5* reviews doesn't surprise me one bit! Not only are the models great, with such an interesting range available, what really marks Oxford out is the quality of their customer service. I had an issue with a model that I'd bought some while back. I shared this with the team and without hesitation they replaced the model in question. I had not really expected this level of care. Quite outstanding!
