Purchased the Yonex Astrox 99 Play 4u5 - excellent service and speedy delivery. Wasn't fully aware of the tension that would suit my game but found loads of info to inform my choice. Got the frame restrung with the recommended strings and they work a treat. Have used Direct Badminton for a couple years and will continue to do so.

Easy return process
I bought a pair of Yonex shoes for a present for my brother, when he tried them on he needed a bigger size, the return process was very easy and the new shoes came promptly, I will be using Direct Badminton again

No resolution after three weeks of lost parcel
Order 14944201
My parcel was marked as delivered, but the delivery photo shows it left unattended outside in an unsecured location. I did not authorise a safe-place delivery and was at work at the time.
Despite raising this promptly, I have now been waiting over three weeks with no resolution. I have been repeatedly asked to wait for the courier to investigate, with no refund, replacement, or clear timeline provided.
Responsibility has been implied to rest with me for not selecting optional delivery alternatives. These are not mandatory, and under consumer law the seller remains responsible until delivery is completed correctly. I am still out of pocket for an item I did not receive and remain awaiting resolution.

New Badminton Racquet and Shoes
Great website and very quick delivery. I did need to exchange one of the items (badminton shoes) for a larger size, but this was a simple process and did not take too long. The website did advise that I should consider ordering a larger size of shoe, but I ignored the advice and ultimately needed an exchange. This was for the Yonex 65 shoe. I am normally a size UK10, but in needed a UK10.5 and they are still a snug fit.

Delivery was great super quick
Delivery was great super quick, the Babolat shuttles are excellent value, really good quality, early days but shuttles seem to be lasting well. Thanks very much, well pleased.😁

Wrong string tension
The rackets were delivered on time, but I specifically requested them to be strung at 28 lbs. Both arrived strung at around 22 lbs, forcing me to pay out of pocket to have them restrung, even though stringing was supposed to be included in the price. To make matters worse, when I contacted customer service, they sent me a photo of the machine set to 28 lbs as “proof”, as if that somehow proves the rackets I received were actually strung at that tension

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you were not completely satisfied with your order. We have an experienced team of stringers and our machines are calibrated daily. We record the settings of the machines for every order to provide reassurance that all orders are completed correctly and it would be of no interest to us to complete a restring to any other specification than requested. For your case we did offer the option to have your racket reassessed by our stringing team however as you did not wish to send the racket back to us, we were not able to arrange this for you.

So depressed !!
I had my first play with this new 1000Z for few matches then the string was broken !!! Just an hour !!! The broken was deemed to be the knot. I wondered the restringing service provided was too unprofessional and made no sense of this case in selling of such an advanced racket with that poor restringing quality of service.
