Their cartridges brought my old Apple StyleWriter II back to life! Ink Cartridges came well packaged and feel like the original Apple Cartridges. Very pleased!
I have been ordering from this company for a few years now and have always been pleased with the products, until recently. I use 910 replacement cartridges for my HP printers. The last two shipments have had at least one faulty or empty cartridge as part of the three color plus two black packages. When I contacted customer service asking for them to just replace the whole package and I would send back the one they sent they said that they couldn't do that they would only replace the one that my photograph showed was not working. I agreed to that initially, but when they sent a replacement cartridge it too was no good. Again I asked them to please just replace the whole set. They would not do it. I even told them that I needed the ink so badly that I would buy a new set. They would not do it. Imagining this to be a one-off problem I ordered a second set for my other HP printer. The result was the same. I believe that the quality of this company is going downhill.
Whatever you do make sure you know your cartridge number cause this company will not refund your money if the package is open. I was off by 2 numbers thanks to the website they ask what kind of printer your looking for cartridges for and the number sounded familiar so went ahead and ordered my cartridges. Instead of 63 i ordered 61 cartridges and am so disapointed that they wont exchange them and are only refunding cartrtidges that arent opened. Even though the ones that were opened were never used. Makes no sense to me... So live and learn I guess but i wont be doing business with these people again and will not refer them to anyone either. Lost out on $50 and to me thats wrong.
I ordered the replacements for the 902-both color (OEM product) and black (Doorstepink remanufactured). The OEM ink was a terrific price and works great. The Doorstepink black plugged right in and the printer accepted it. More to come on the quality of the ink.
I purchased a replacement toner cartridge for my HP laser printer from Planet Green Recycle, thinking that I was purchasing from an environmentally conscious company. I selected a cartridge that displayed a photo of the original HP shipping box, thinking that I would be receiving an OEM item. To make a long story short, what I received was an original HP cartridge that had been refilled with inferior toner material. Apparently Planet Green Recycle and Doorstepink are one and the same and customer service is performed by Doorstepink. When I complained about the inferior prints that were being produced, Doorstepink inferred that the problem was caused by the printer. This was not true. After putting up with inferior print quality, the toner cartridge ultimately ran out of toner, which occurred significantly sooner than any other toner cartridge I had previously used. At this point I was fed up with the lack of quality and the lack of responsibility exhibited by this company. I then requested a refund, since the return policy included with my original invoice stated that they guarantee 100% satisfaction. Doorstepink then refused a refund, stating that the period for a refund had expired. I then requested a prepaid return shipping label, so that I could return the defective cartridge for recycling. That request was also refused.
Based on my experience, I find that Doorstepink do not provide reliable products, they do not honor their stated policies, and they are environmental green-washers. Beware of this unreliable company.
Been purchasing ink cartridges from DoorStepInk for quite awhile now for both my home and office. Great quality prints! Would highly recommend.
Fast shipping, Friendly customer service that helped me with placing my order with no problem.
Slow shipping, expired ink...(EXPIRED 5 YEARS AGO) what more could you want? Oh maybe a return label. No return label? OK so I had to pay to ship this back. I got a refund but not for my return shipping. Waste of time and lost money. Stay clear of doorstepink and Planet Green Cartridges Inc. Same company apparently.
Not sure what people are complaining about. I purchased Brother cartridges, they were actual Brother cartridges remanufactured and they worked flawlessly. This is why I choose to buy recycled product - costs less, works great, American made!
Ordered an h p original 901 cartridge.
It did not come in an HP box and additionally date code was taken off the inside package
Shady!
The ink cartridges I received did not work. When I contacted the company several times, they instructed me to try all sorts of trouble-shooting but none of that worked either. I'm going to throw them away and will not order from this company again. I would have liked a refund but the amount of time and work they put you through to try to get one is ridiculous. I was trying to do something good for the environment but what a waste of time and money this was. Now I don't know if I can trust any recycled print cartridges.
I'd rather spend more on the reputable Canon ink cartridge replacements, but then how knows if your getting non remanufactured product from them.
I'm really disappointed with Doorstepink. I have purchased remanufactured ink before, but will not trust this company again.
I did the cleaning of my printheads and still the prints are weak and faded as if the ink is running low on the cartridge.
I WILL be getting a refund.
Not wasting my time on them sending me replacements.
Customer Service Becky and Alex have been good to deal with.
I bought HP 63 cartridges, thinking these would be effectively the same as the other recycled cartridges I used to buy. They aren’t.
The black smudges left right and center, and neither of the two color cartridges work at all. One of them even has the wrong hardware interface and the printer wont recognize, but the other is recognized and just won’t print.
I’ve emailed their sales people, and we’ll see if they do anything, but so far all I know is that I got a great price on four cartridges which do not work properly. Not much of a “revolutionary” idea to sell people defective products, seems more the status quo.
It's unfortunate that Door Step Ink does not have a return policy. I ordered the wrong HP cartridges and did not find out until I installed a cartridge and I got a message that it was 'not authorized'. Seems that there should be something in place to help a customer out, since it was an expensive order (HP XL 4 Pack + 1).
Live and learn....
It worked great for my printer, with a few caveats.
First off, I have a Linux-based desktop computer. Sorry, I have neither Windows nor Mac OS X experience. Cheap consumer HP inkjet printers are known to work out-of-the-box for most models on Linux. It's so easy sticking with HP printers in that regard.
For a better experience I recommend not having any HP apps installed on any of your devices so they don't phone home and rat you out for using unauthorized ink. Adding and managing a printer may be different for you.
I bought ink for my HP Envy Photo 7155. I needed to make sure the printer didn't have the latest firmware that detects and blocks refilled cartridges, so I restored the printer to factory settings and made sure to disable any networking and automatic updates. I don't want to take any chances, so it's basically no longer a wireless printer. That's fine with me, I suppose.
The printer did throw a few printer cartridge errors but you can simply dismiss them and at some point they never really pop up anymore.
After clearing the notifications it aligned the new cartridges and printed test pages just fine.
It printed, alright. The XL versions of the cartridges printed about 80 black-and-white and 30 colored pages so far with no problems and good quality.
It just works.
For the money I'd say it's worth the little bit of risk of frustration and disappointment, which you probably already have with your printer anyways.
Thanks, DoorStepInk for giving us a sense of freedom from Big Printer!
I have been getting remanufactured cartridges from them for years and have never had a problem. I buy cartridges for my brother color printer. They fit and last just as long as the new ones. A bargain price compared to new, plus a discount for returning used cartridges. I highly recommend!
i bought 2 cartridges - when my need for a new cartridge occured i put in one of theirs the few month old printer said cartrig 0 ink. I put the second cartridge in - it worked fine. I called and emailed doorstepink
expecting a replace ment cartridge. agent tag line said customer first not true they wanten me to take out good cartridge put in bad and tak a photo and send to then whew! no way will i mess up my printer with their bad cartridge. told them i would mail back if they send me a paid envelope AND replacement. they said no have to check it first. their tag line; Quality and customer experience is very important to us- WHAT a pile- dont buy from them unless you want to put up with this!!! I asked for a manager - he was busy!!! BUY ELSE WHERE
I purchased HP cartridges for my travels overseas and as soon as I installed them I received an error code. I called HP and after a series of tests they confirmed it was a faulty cartridge. After forwarding the HP email confirming the cartridges were at fault I was told by Doorstepink I had to return the cartridges to them for a refund. You know what would have been great? If they apologized for the faulty cartridge and sent me a new one. Good customer service keeps me coming back. That was not the case here.
Customer service is horrible. after I contacted them to tell them that I have cartridges that their website claimed were HP cartridges. My HP Printer gave me an error message that said the cartridges were "incompatible". I contacted HP who informed me that Doorstepink was using reconditioned cartridges and grey market. These cartridges would ruin my printer if used. I contact "Becky" at Customer Service and had to send photo's screen shots, etc. to her. I said why are we dong this just refund my money. She said she couldn't I would have to sent them back first thety would look at them and determine a refund!!! UNACCEPTABLE. Their tag line is customer first and Becky's signature line is
Quality and customer experience is very important to us, and it is what drives us!
That is as far from truthful as possible, these people are scammers and should be called out. DO NOT DUE BUSINESS WITH THEM!! Buyer Beware.
