Their black cartridges did not work in my printer. It said I should try to reinstall them and it would work the second time, but it never worked, and I had bought two. Neither worked, I even tried ten times, although it seemed to physically fit in the slot correctly, it was always rejected. My printer would not even let me try to print with that cartridge in there, it would just say there was an error. I had to put the previous empty black cartridge back in there in order to print with the color ink...
Saving money can cost you money
First and only time customer. Doubled checked my printer ink cartage code to make sure the one from 1ink would work. It did. Once received, I looked it over and compared to original, all looked good. Turns out the new cartridge was not exact and therefore damaged the ink drum on my MFC-9970CDW printer. So now need to spend $200+ for new drum and shipping to return item that caused the damage. Order with caution! Saving a few $$'s can cause more $$'s in repair.
This company is shameful
This company is shameful. Tie you up in unbelievably unfair contracts that only favour them. Promise you fleet work that never materialises.

Defective Cartridges not replaced
I ordered a 9 pack for my epson printer 786 in 4/2024. I always order before I need them so as to not run out. After changing some cartridges some were not able to be recognized by the printer. I asked for replacements to be sent and they were. On 7/15/2025 I had additional trouble with the cartridges the printer indicated to push in but I was not able to push in anymore. I did this numerous time before! One cartridge leaked red ink on my wood floor and 3 other were not able to be pushed in(2 black and 2magenta). I called the company and finally convinced the tech to replace them. After not receiving them I called back and was told too many replacements were sent to me already and that the purchase was past the warranty time or I might need to buy a new printer. I told them my printer was working fine with one of their other inks. THEY STATED THAT THEY WOULD REPLACE THE 4 CARTRIDGES AND I TOOK THEM AT THEI WORD. THEY CHANGED THEIR MIND AND NEVER NOTIFIED ME! I never did see that they had a warranty period of any kind. I was also BUT the boxes did not say Epson. I have used this company a few times before and never had trouble.

Do not use this Company 1INK.COM for anything regarding printing supplies. They are practicing "Theft By Deception" and try to get you to open all the toner cartridges whenthey don't work to try them and then don't accept returns on opened packages.

I ordered 2 each kits containing a drum unit and four toner cartridges for my Brother MFC-L2707DW printer and received kits with model numbers different than what my printer uses. I paid $135.13 and 1INK.com refuses to refund me because their products do not fit or work in my Printer and they insist they do. I explained in the attachments that their equipment does not fit my cartridges and they cause jams and excessive toner smear. I have to open the rear of the printer to remove the jams that happen every time I try to print. None of their cartridges or drum units work. I put my old existing units back in and they work fine. They are insisting I open more of them and test them but I know they will not work as their drum unit will not allow my printer to power on. I am a retired Air Force Electronics Cryptographic Technician, Network Support Technician, and have been an electronics technician and Office Equipment repairman for decades. I do know what I am doing with copiers as I was a factory trained Ricoh technician and a Dell Certified repairman for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Therefore I Blame fully the Support staff and 1INK for theft, wire fraud, and deceptive sales tactics and selling inferior material as quality.
Do not use this company for anything!!!

Be Careful What You Think You Ordered
I went to their website and entered my printer name. It suggested only one compatible ink cartridge. I placed my order and received a different cartridge. Didn't realize it until after I opened the package. They said I somehow ordered the wrong cartridge but couldn't explain how if I followed their website prompts. No refund. No discount. No satisfaction.

I was a loyal of this company for years. This fall, I ordered my toner which comes in a 2 pack, one worked and other didn’t. I was surprised bc it never happened before; I contacted them and they sent me another one. This month I had to order again and the same thing happened, now I was thinking this company has a bad batch of toner. I contacted the company, and the first CSR went on the defense and I answered them back with the same attitude. They then answered me back more aggressively and I did the same. I told them this was the second time in a row with the same product and it was no fault of mine or my printer, their product is defective. The reply was answered by the CEO of the company and at first I thought he was a poorly trained CSR by the language he used bc he was so unprofessional by telling me he was in charge and he makes the decisions in an attempt to intimate me, and I answered him back in kind. He told me he wasn’t going to send me another toner because I was trying to exploit and extort his company and he wasn’t standing for it. I told him to accept responsibility his defective product and quit acting immature. It wasn’t a coincidence that the same product months apart was defective for the second time and to just admit it.
I then went online and looked at reviews from a numerous customer complaints sites. On each site, there were over 100 complaints stating the same thing over and over, poor quality toner, poor customer service and he answered them back all the same saying they were trying to exploit his company and he wasn’t standing for it. I realized then that this is his company’s MO, if a customer complains about their product, instead of manning up he says the same thing to everyone in an attempt to gaslight and deflect and blame them and then shut the conversation down. He knows the truth; he ordered this crap from a third world country knowing full well its defective and he doesn’t care and when a customer complains he turns it around on them. He’s a disgusting bully, childish and he should be investigated for selling defective products and for his business practice of blaming the customer when he knows full well he is selling defective crap. Thousands of people cant be wrong. Moving forward, before I spend any money with any company I am going to read the reviews first, like I should have with this deplorable company.

These cartridges don’t work. I followed all the instructions that customer service gave me and still got an error message. The replacements didn’t work either. I wasted my time and money. Don’t waste yours.
Disappointed with Poor Quality and Lack of Support
I purchased a substantial amount of color and black ink based on the company's claims that their ink was "just as good as the brand name." Unfortunately, that couldn't be further from the truth. The color quality is downright disappointing—not vibrant or true-to-life. The hues, tints, and brightness all fall short of even a basic standard, making it impossible to achieve the results I expected.
To make matters worse, when I initially reached out to their customer service team to address my concerns, I never received a response. This lack of accountability is unacceptable.
Adding insult to injury, the cartridges themselves are not even fully filled. My printer displays the remaining ink levels, and shockingly, some brand-new cartridges showed only 25-50% capacity upon installation. In one instance, a fresh color cartridge printed only in green!
We need to trust that the products we buy will work when we need them. This entire experience has been an embarrassment, and the lack of quality and customer support from this company is truly disappointing. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for reliable ink.

Absolute Garbage
Absolute garbage product and company. I ordered 5 cartridges from them several months ago as a backup. Fast forward to last month when the black cartridge started acting up so I replaced it with one they sent. I get an error message on the printer saying basically “no communication”. Ok, try the other black cartridge they sent…it doesn’t work either. Contact customer support and they say they’ll get back to me. No contact for two weeks, so I reach out again. They say “ our supplier says you must’ve had a known or unknown firmware update to your printer”…NO WARRANTY NO REFUND. In the meantime, I had ordered a new cartridge from LD Products. It worked perfectly! I guess the phantom “firmware update” doesn’t affect LD Products cartridges. Don’t deal with this company as they don’t stand behind their faulty products.
Poor Customer Support

I am sure most customers with these issues aren't going to continue ordering cartridges from 1 Ink.
Save yourself the hassle and shop elsewhere
My experience is similar to others in that the company hasn't been good to work with. I was sent a defective product. The brand new black was so faded on the very first page I printed that it was unusable and the blue color was misaligned when printing. I didn't even open the magenta or yellow. I sent it back for a refund at my cost and they only partially refunded me. I am still waiting to hear back as to why. Based on other reviews I will probably just have to file a dispute with the credit card company to get my refund. I should also note that I bought non HP toner several times in the past and again after this bad experience and had absolutely no issues at all. Save yourself the hassle and don't give them any business. Buy somewhere else, you'll be glad you did!

I used these for a number of years with no problems. Lately I’ve had many problems with them being defective with no help from the company. They make you jump thru hoops and you cannot discuss the pro le with them directly. I have lost several hundred dollars due to defective cartridges with no problems from HP. Very disappointed with the company. Do not buy from them!

MY Review:
I have a HP laser printer & purchased a set of toner cartridges from 1ink. These were the first “aftermarket”/non-OEM cartridges I have ever put in my HP printer.
The 1ink cartridges immediately leaked toner onto the rollers of the printer, the gearing in the printer, & streaked from top to bottom on the prints printed from the printer. The prints would also fold & crimp at the top corner on every print. I printed off & on for a few days in hopes that the issues would clear up. They did not. It became obvious that the printer would be damaged from the caking of the toner & the drag the cartridges were causing on the internal mechanisms resulting in folding & crimping of the prints.
When replacing the 1ink aftermarket cartridges with HP OEM cartridges, all issues disappeared & the printer returned to proper functioning. The 1ink cartridges were defective.
It took multiple extensive contacts (and in which supporting documentation was provided) to get 1ink to provide a return label, all the time 1ink stating that it is most often the fault of the printer, they will “thoroughly examine the cartridges for any defect including reading the microchip”, will deny a refund if too much toner has been used, & will deny a refund if 1ink determines that the cartridges are not defective.
My printer has a Supplies Status Page report evidencing how much toner any particular cartridge has used & how many pages it has printed. I printed the Supplies Status report for my records (& a consumer might want to, as well, if he or she also has a return with 1ink). In the few days I was attempting to get the cartridges to work, 50 pages were printed using 2% of toner. None of those pages were useable.
After returning the cartridges, 1ink provided a partial refund. Ultimately, I had to send the documentation to my credit card & file a dispute, which resulted in a full credit for the charge.
If you don’t have a printer which can verify the amount of toner a cartridge uses, or have concern about having to spend the money to have your printer serviced due to cartridges leaking into the gearing, crimping the prints, & streaking across the page, or value customer support in which a full refund is expected if the product sent is defective, you might look to a different provider than 1ink for your toner.
AS TO 1ink's reply to my review:
1. Partial Refund Issued. 1ink did not issue a full refund for their defective merchandise to me. 1ink provided a partial refund, & that was after seven emails back and forth regarding the matter.
But don’t take my word for it. In its own email, 1ink states that it issued a partial refund. The email states in pertinent part, “Order Status Change/Hi, The status of your order #7027161 has changed to Partially refunded.” 1ink bolded “Partially refunded” in its email. A copy of the email would have been uploaded with this review if an upload had been made possible.
The remaining balance still due from 1ink was obtained after I filed a claim with my bank’s credit card dispute services department. My bank issued a full refund on the balance still due from 1ink after the filing & the bank’s review of emails, documentation, & pictures. Because 1ink did not issue a full refund to me, it took some 4 months to obtain & finalize a full credit for the defective merchandise, & that credit was because of my bank.
2. Cartridges Used. While 1ink’s response to my review is that it provided a refund “despite the cartridges being returned in used condition”, at the risk of belaboring the obvious, typically a consumer does not know that a toner cartridge is defective until the consumer inserts the product in their printer & prints.
All 3 color cartridges leaked profusely, ruined every single print, & quickly began compromising my printer. No print was usable. The cartridges were defective. As noted above, a Supplies Status Page from my printer's reading of the microchips was printed evidencing any use of the cartridges, & a consumer might also find their printing such a report for their records beneficial if cartridges are to be returned to 1ink.
3. Yelp ratings. In its response, 1ink does not state truth. Neither I nor any entity with which I am associated has a poor rating on Yelp.
In contrast, as of this writing, 1ink has 51 poor and very poor ratings on Yelp (3 two-star ratings and 48 one-star ratings). That is 51 poor and very poor ratings out of 70 total ratings.
But this review is neither about any rating 1ink has from another consumer, nor is it about some other entity with which I might associate. This review is about the transaction between 1ink and me.
The product was defective, and there is a customer support as well as quality control issue.

Exceptional Customer Service
Exceptional and above and beyond fantastic Customer Service!
I orderd ink for 2 separate Epson printers I have. 1ink called me simply to confirm there wasn't an error in the order. I really appreciated them reaching out to me and that, to me is amazing customer service. I would highly recommend 1ink.com to all my family and friends without a moments hesitation. I've been using them for years and NEVER had a problem. You can't go wrong, with 1ink.com.
Horrible Quality
I ordered 3 cartridges. 2 CL-211XL and 1 PG-210XL.
Neither of the CL-211XL cartridges worked. I tried deep cleaning, aligning and still got horrible results. I threw them away and ordered from ComboInk like I should have from the start.
1INK.com responded by saying my review was fake. It is NOT! I emailed 1ink.com on January 31, 2024 to let them know I was having issues. They responded to give me troubleshooting instructions and then offered to send replacements. I had already disposed of the defective cartridges and told them to forget it. I WILL PROVIDE THE EMAIL TO TRUSTPILOT AND 1ink IF THEY STILL WANT TO CALL ME A LIAR!!!! PLEASE CORRECT YOUR RESPONSE.
THE FACT YOU ARE MORE CONCERNED ABOUT AVOIDING RESPONSIBILITY AND MAKING ATTEMPTS TO FIX YOUR QUALITY PROBLEM, SPEAKS VOLUMES OF WHY YOUR PRODUCTS FAIL.
TRY DOING SOME QUALITY AUDITS AND FIX YOUR ISSUES. YOU'RE OVERLY SENSITIVE AND CONCERNED ABOUT COMBOINK... THEY MUST BE EATING YOUR LUNCH.

I bought a drum and cartridge for my Brothers printer. Sprayed ink and left marks on the paper. They were willing to refund my money but it would cost $25 to return the items. That’s not worth it- just a rip-off and very misleading because they claim it’s 100% guaranteed. Not when they don’t pay return shipping

They are cheats. Hide all the restocking fees shipping fees info in layers or return policy. The customer representatives don’t mention anything about all this. They ate 120 bucks off my order. Never ever buy anything from them.
