Refused a refund for items that didn't fit. Claimed it was not their fault and they delivered what was ordered. This is not inline with distance selling regulations. Avoid!
Chinese Scammers
This so-called company is in the business of scamming.
I bought a heated jacket from a website that gives every impression that the business is UK based. It isnt. It's Chinese.
The shipping was glacial in pace and Dorevelle refused to accept responsibility saying it was the fault and responsibility of its "logistics partners". The UK "partner" was the inept and hopeless Yodel. Interestingly, each Dorevelle customer services operative I received an email from had a typically English name. That is a ruse to hide their Chinese identity I think.
The jacket eventually arrived today. It's labelled XL but is incredibly small. I think it's a UK Medium at the biggest and is intended for the Chinese domestic market.
The jacket is thin and isn't heated. It contains no heating filaments, does have USB connector to nothing and no battery housing.
This company is just a conspiracy of thieves and must be avoided.
They know that people who fall victim to this scam in Europe are powerless to take action against them somewhere in the People's Republic of Scammers.
Learn from my mistake and avoid Dorevelle.

I totally agree with Kevin Hillier on this companies code of practice. Their address is in London and their contact telephone number is an international number,based in China. The jacket I ordered arrived but was way too small. When I asked for a return address they simply said to take photos and stated it would be expensive to return but offered me a replacement with15% discount. This company Dorevelle are just scammers and should be closed down. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM. IF YOU DO THEN YOU WILL SUFFER THE SAME CONSEQUENCES AS I HAVE GONE THROUGH. SHAME ON YOU Dorevelle.
Product Not as Described – Refused to Honour Consumer Rights
I ordered two pairs of trousers from Dorevelle that were advertised as a “linen blend”. What arrived were garments clearly labelled 100% cotton.
When I contacted customer support, I was offered either a partial refund (45%) or a full refund if I paid for international return shipping to China. I explained that under UK consumer law, I am entitled to a full refund without bearing return costs for goods that are not as described.
Despite providing photos of the labels and clearly stating my rights, Dorevelle refused to take responsibility. They claimed the labels were a “production error” and insisted the trousers were still a linen blend — despite no evidence to support this. Their stance was that their internal return policy overrides UK consumer law, which is simply not true.
The return address they provided was in China, with instructions to declare the parcel under $10 to avoid customs issues — which felt questionable at best.
I’ve now had to escalate the matter to Citizens Advice and my payment provider to initiate a chargeback.
In summary:
Product not as described.
Poor handling of a legitimate complaint.
Refusal to honour consumer rights.
Burden placed on the customer to resolve their mistake.
I would strongly advise others to avoid this retailer. If something goes wrong, you may find yourself stuck with the wrong item and no easy resolution.
