It’s a lovely place to stay. Nice personal and always helpful. It’s a good hotel for kids as the pool allows kids to be kids and play and we love the surroundings in quite and beautiful Vallorcine, where it is still easy to access Chamonix, if we wanna spent time in the city with more life.

Es la tercera vez en este Resort con maravillosas vistas. Excelente servicio, instalaciones de calidad y confortables. La piscina esta a 28 grados y los niños la suelen encontrar fria. La sauna, hammam y jacuzzi ok. Sin duda repetiremos. (Familia con 6 niños y perro 😉)

Great location. Spacious apartments. Right next to hight quality ski lift (telecabine) which is never busy.

Dormio Les Portes Du Mont Blanc is the right choice for those who like to be independent and outside of busy Chamonix enjoying just the mountains. The rooms are spacious with perfectly equipped kitchen. Still, you can have your breakfast directly in Dormio, same with lunch or dinner in their restaurant. The front desk staff is very kind and helpful, whatever we needed to know or arrange for they were always available and smiling. Parking is no issue, either outside or in the garage for free if you are a guest of the resort. Nearby train station is very convenient if you do not want to drive a car. Especially in Chamonix, parking can be challenging. Dormio is the place we will be returning to.

Fantastisk lækkert hotel. Rolig beliggenhed, men stadig kun få hundrede meter fra gratis tog, fine værelser, god morgenmad og lækkert spa område.

Lovely spacious accommodation, positioned alongside the main gondola lift to the ski fields, a very quiet village and resort as wanted, friendly and helpful staff, great facilities (pool, sauna, hot tub, steam room, laundry, small gym, amble parking, ski room etc).
The cafe/bar/bistro was low key but provided a good atmosphere, very helpful staff, nice breakfast and evening food.
The rooms were well equipped (although basics such as salt, pepper, soap, shampoo etc would have been useful.
We loved the tranquility of the place typical Haute Savoir village - its what we wanted - apres ski is in Argentiere about 4 kms away over the Col which can get snowy.
Overall I recommend it.

The hotel is very lovely, clearly well maintained and looked after with friendly and helpful staff. Our apartment was a great size and had a homely feel with modern resources and well equipped kitchen. The pool area was very clean and the facilities were good. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a great bar area and the breakfast was lovely. It is in such a convenient location for the ski shop and the gondola, very easy and the ski lockers and heated store were great too.

The location is brilliant next to Vallorcine cable car and train station and the resort provides train tickets for the whole family for the duration of the stay which you can use it to go to Chamonix (35 minutes by train).
My family and I personally enjoyed every moment of our stay in the resort, as the plan was to stay for 10 days, but we extended for an additional 5 days, the apartment is large and spacious and has a beautiful view of the river,mountains,train station and the cable car, and it includes all the needs of the family, and the resort includes a large and warm indoor swimming pool.
In addition there are Indoor and outdoor places for children even there is place near to the resort ( around 200m) where the kids can ride poney.
The staff was very kind, friendly and helpful.

The room was not cleaned on our arrival at 20h. We had to do it all ourselves after a very long ride. There is a 90€ cleaning fee included that we paid with the booking. I’ve let the reception and customer service team know by mail. We are now more then one week later and I still haven’t received any reply feedback or compensation.

I received finally an answer. But no reimbursement of the 90€ we paid for cleaning services we had to pay and that was not executed.

Cleanliness of the rooms could be improved. e.g. Top of TV under thick layer of dust. Details are overlooked, corner of the rooms of still dirty or e.g. behind some furniture.
The cutlery is very limited. After one mail has to do the dishes already for the next mail.
Warm water for a shower/bath was an issuein the evenings. Probably while a lot of people take a both/shower around the same moment.
