We have a large selection of cars, and MPVs, including automatics available to you. The commercial vehicle fleet consists of: 4x4 Pickups - available as single and crew cabs, with tow bars and hard backs available on request. Vans (Small, SWB, MWB, LWB 3m & Jumbo 4m), Welfare Vans (seating 7) and Crew Cab Vans (seating 6). Jumbo Luton With and without tail lifts. Lo Loaders also available for longer term hire. 3.5tonne and 7.5tonne Box, Curtainside, Tipper (tippers with cages also available), Dropside and Flatbed not forgetting our fleet of Recovery Trucks. 18tonne Box and Curtainside trucks, along with Dropside Lorries. We also have for hire our large fleet of Minibuses, seating 9 to 17.

Very nice van
Very nice van! It was clean and drove well. I wanted a van to move my son into his new flat- just the right size- fitted a double bed and several big pieces of furniture in. Also, I liked the fact that the van policy was to fill up at the end of the trip, so no messing around with fuel when I picked it up.

9 seater van to Austria with winter tyres
hired 9 seater van driving to Austria thro tunnel, with winter tyres. Everything as ordered, all paperwork for European travel, insurance and breakdown cover with unlimited mileage. No problems, deposit returned in 4 working days. Done this several times thro DVR and can't fault the service and communication. Makes the holiday a whole lot easier.

The vehicle was absolutely filthy
The vehicle was absolutely filthy, mould growing from sandwiches left in the cab.
I wouldn't leave my dog in the vehicle!

Disgusting
So hired a tipper, ended up with a lwb pickup. Paid £462 for the week, sent a driver up to add him on as a driver, what used to be £6 is now £34.99 how can one jump prices up so much,

A splendid experience from the Dorchester branch. Contacting them before booking to get advice about the size of van was the best idea. Their online booking system is simple to use and the booking in and out procedure on site is efficient and straightforward. The van was cleaned and checked before use and worked reliably.
A company I'd have no hesitation in using again.

Brilliant hire company
Brilliant hire company. I was very unsure if we needed to hire a car as my son was supposed to get a Curtesy car from the garage whilst his car was fixed, but he didn't know if it would be available until the day. After checking with Dorset Vehicle Rentals that I could get full refund if we didn't need the car, I rented online. The next day my son found out he did get a curtesy car, so I cancelled the hire car and got a full refund with no quibbles. Very pleased
