Douglas Hall Kennels Avis 

We went to have a look at all the puppies, I wasn't expecting to come home with my cavapoo, he melted my heart ❤️ it was very clean, all the puppies were so happy, there was an older gentleman who came and chatted about the puppies, he offered us all a brew and brought the kiddies some chocolate biscuits which the kids loved and made it such a homely feeling, as I weren't prepared to be taking home a pup I had nothing, however they do a great bundle offer with everything that I needed and a very good price, I was recommended by family as they got thier puppy from DHK a year before. I'd definitely recommend to anyone looking for a loving little friend.

Been visiting Douglas Hall for a couple of months now looking for the right the dog, and from the start they have been nothing but amazing. We eventually adopted a beautiful Cavapoo puppy and couldn’t be happier, the help and service from tne start has been both but highly professional. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Went to pick up a little Yorkie (female) named Hera. Found a Zuchon (female) I also liked.
The puppies are so well cared for and the lady was super nice and helpful.
Prices are totally worth it for the puppies, seeing the care they receive.
Would definitely recommend.

A bit late reviewing but better late than never, great experience with DHK, I live in Scotland and couldn’t get down but the staff were great and kept in contact with me throughout, and they brought my poochon to me, she is now 6 and I have never had any problems with her, well maybe when you get up she always steals your spot, she loves getting carried on your hip like a child 😂 she will always be our little princess who sometimes lifts her leg (or both back legs in long grass) to pee 🤷🏼‍♀️😂…….of we got another puppy which we are thinking of now I would definitely go to DHK

What can I say about Douglas Hall!!
The people are lovely and the living conditions that the puppies are in is absolutely 10/10.
We were made to feel so welcome and comfortable and the process of purchasing our puppy was a breeze.
He has since settled in so well as is the perfect addition to our little family.

We arrived and were shown the puppies, very informative and all the puppies were clean, fed and happy.
I picked up the first puppy I came to and didn’t put him down! I knew what I wanted and he ticked all the boxes!
The sale and information provided were fab! 2 weeks on I received a phone call to find out how he was settling in and if I needed any help or advice!

Excellent experience with the team - we were able to make an informed decision after talking through all of our questions with Sarah and Daisy, from an initial phone call through to picking up our wonderful new addition to the family and beyond. Highly recommend the kennels.

I visited the kennels with my grandchildren, not really certain that I wanted a new puppy. How silly was I. They all looked happy and cared for and we were encouraged to properly interact with the animals, as well as being told about what breeds they were and how old.
We went back a few days later and I adopted the one I fell in love with. Best decision ever. He is gorgeous and rules the roost.

Before travelling from Yorkshire to the kennels, I rang for advice, I knew I wanted a small poodle cross. I told the owner I wanted a small poodle cross that was easy to train, with a pleasant nature, I explained my lifestyle, and was told a Cavapoochon would be the dog for me. I had searched for breeders online but couldn’t find one that I could really trust until I found theses kennels. My son drove me to the kennels 3 weeks ago on a Sunday. The kennels were set in a beautiful countryside location, there were no doggy smells everything was super clean in all the pens with an abundance of food for the puppies. We were shown in a long divided up building where the puppy pens were and seats so you could lift a puppy out of the pen sit on benches and see if the puppy felt right for you. We went to the Cavapoochon pen a puppy came to say hello we locked eyes so I lifted her out of the pen. I walked around with the puppy tucked under my arm glanced at other breeds of poodle crosses, I realised she was the one for me. We weren’t rushed when going through the paperwork and were able to ask questions regarding my chosen puppy. A starter pack of Royal Canin was given to me and I intend to keep her on this food until she is 10 months old as advised. Already microchipped and and had both her vaccinations and was ready to be able to take her for a walk the day after. I chose the right breeders in fact it was a really nice experience and knowing all the puppies and dogs were well care for and socialised. Plus the puppies were let out of their pens for exercise. My puppy is a happy healthy friendly and loving, eager to please and train, not even had any accidents in the house and lets me know when she needs to go in the garden. All thanks to Douglas Hall Kennels and their care. Plus any problems arising the kennels are happy to help and you just give them a ring.

What a fantastic place immaculate hygiene very helpful staff but not pushy knowledgeable and knew each puppy individually all the puppies look in fantastic condition and happy.a great experience recommend to me by a vet friend would recommend to anyone I know

The puppies are well looked after. The staff are very knowledgeable and made the experience go very well.

We got our pup back in September and I wanted to wait to do my review so it was honest and fair. I visited Douglas hall 4 times, before making my decision. I’m glad I did this as I saw different puppies over different days and they were all beautiful and clean.

On the day I decided to finally pick one, I was lucky enough to chat to the vet who was doing the puppy first injections, she really put me at ease and explained all the checks she does on the dogs, she said they’re very well bred and very healthy, she has never had concerns.

We selected our cavapoochon and picked her up a week later. She is amazing! We’ve had her now for 8 months and I love her so much, she’s beautiful, she’s calm, she’s happy, brilliant with other doggies and people. She just makes our day, I get compliments about her from our dog walker and our boarder, asking where we got her from. I get told she’s one of a kind.

I made 2 visits to Douglass hall kennels. On my first visit it was very busy and there were lots of children picking all the puppies up. I only came across a gentleman working there and he was quite abrupt when I asked him questions and I felt like he was trying to rush us. The week after we visited and it was empty and a much better experience. We found a puppy we wanted and the young girl who served us was lovely, friendly and helpful. There was also on older gentleman in the office and he was lovely and friendly. We had took our cavapoo Benji home and he’s settled in well. We had him vet checked and all is well. Today we’ve received our courtesy call to check all is going well with our new pup

Albie joined our family 3 weeks ago, we arrived at the kennels on advice from someone else, we were shown round and then allowed to spend time with the puppies as we pleased in order to find our fit, the team talked us through all
we needed to know and had everything on hand to get us started (Albie was not a planned purchase for that day!) and they have also checked in afterwards too see how he (and we) are. Lovely place, great experience and gorgeous pup!

We found a lovely dog. Staff very helpful and keen to find out how our dog, had settled in, calling us a couple of weeks later.

They are very happy to help and so informative. I recently got a cockapoo from them and not only did they answer all my questions but also got rid of any worries I had! The puppies are well looked after and very well socialized.

I had the most amazing experience with Douglas Hall Kennels! They was perfect from start to finish helped me every step of the way. They have the most beautiful puppy’s and you can really see they truly care for them. I would 100% go back.

Got a lovely puppy for my kids from this pet store. The variety of breeds is fantastic, and the delivery was quick. The whole family is in love!
