Worked perfectly and easy instructions
Worked perfectly! Took 20 minutes to load 2 test centers on my tom tom go app. Very easy to do after watching the instructions video. All on my phone one by one. I will use them to teach my pupils. Thank you.

Routes were spot on
4 rather than 5 stars as the download was a bit of a faff! I had to download on to ipad then attach to an email & save onto a PC. The video of how to set up Tom Tom & upload files was really helpful. We only had time to do 2 routes but happily these covered the routes on the day of the test. Passed first time - doing the practice routes really helped.

Routes are very unclear
Routes are very unclear. I am using android with the recommended GPX viewer. The directional arrows along the routes are very sparse and it is difficult to figure out which way we are supposed to be travelling. Lots of guesswork involved. Disappointed with these files.

Hi Thumper, we have requested some further details from you as your review seems to be about some other driving test route business. The GPX Viewer that we recommend is only available on the App Store and not Android and we can’t find any details of you ever making any purchases from us.

Hi Mr Wright, we can see that you've just updated your review to include the detail ADI routes, we don't sell ADI routes on our website only regular driving test routes we think you may have the incorrect company in this case as the routes you purchased from us only contain 18 regular routes.
Hi Mr Wright, we are sad to hear that you are disappointed but when we have looked at your purchase we can see that you purchased the Plymouth set of routes which contains 18 different routes so we are confused as to why you would only practise 3 of the 18 routes. Plymouth is a large city and therefore to stand a chance of getting a route that you have practised you really do need to do all 18 of them. Didn’t say if you passed or not but wishing you well either way.

Hi Terry, that’s not 100% correct is it now, we checked the route that you had concerns about and sent you the screenshot of the route to prove that there were no dead ends. Not really fair to say that we did not respond to you. All our routes are checked and tested. The only thing that will cause for them to take you to a strange place would be road works which are completely out of our control. Obviously not happy to get a 1 star review but we do want all future customers to know that we will respond to all emails and all reviews. Good luck with your test Terry.

As I driving instructor I downloaded 3 different test routes as every test centre has a minimum of 9 routes and can be hard to remember. The routes are simple to download unzip the files and transfer the routes work really good and have found that my students worked with it well.

Just started to use the App. It's quite easy to follow and gives exposure to all the hazards likely to be experienced on the test through a number of potential routes, all starting at the test station. The voice feature is also very useful.
Although the route has arrows to indicate direction of travel, these sometimes appear at the last moment, so the first time of using the App resulted in missed turnings etc.
However, I am pleased to have come across this and will continue to use it.

Sometime people do purchase from us thinking they are buying an app but we do state very clearly across all of our products that they are GPX files, but like we said reach out and we will give you some guidance on getting you up and running so you can practice for your driving test.

Very useful for doing in an area I didn’t know. I did quite a few runs so it wasn’t the first time on the routes.

Hey guys bought this bundle back in September 2023. Practiced all these routes with my patient dad as we don’t live where the test centre is . I had no knowledge of the routes in Redhill. I quickly gained confidence . I pass my test two months later . Thank you !

No test route and the instructions…
No test route and the instructions didn’t make sense. After trying for 30 minutes and trying to set up accounts on two different apps, i am still no further along with accessing the free route. Don't fool for this.

The instructions are very simple and step by step, you did understand that it is a zip file and that it needs unzipping to be used? Just adding a further update for you Amanda if you email us we can talk you through any issues you are having, in your review you say “don’t fall for this” just want to reassure you that on a free download we are not trying to cheat anyone and the files are all genuine it’s just you are maybe not understanding the process
Useful resource
The site is well laid out and informative. I have only, so far taken the trial (free) download map.
Given some of the low score/negative comments from some customers, the site owner probably needs to publicise more strongly that it's a download file and not an App or a Booklet - its clear that some people have misunderstood this.
I note many people feel they need to purchase Tom Tom or similar Apps to make use of the download file. Not so - Google Maps (which nearly everyone has) will import it into Google's "My Maps" with a single click - no issues and no additional cost.
I dropped a star because I feel the developer should take the negative user feedback on board rather than take a slightly condescending attitude to a users misinterpretation. If users are making mistakes then adapt to their feedback so others avoid making the same mistakes - feedback good or bad is invaluable for improving a site.
The free route I downloaded is not quite as crisp as it could be (hence 4 starts) - it has a few wiggles here and there and has a second overlay layer that is "as the crow flies" (no use at all) but you can simply ignore that - it could even be something Google Maps adds. Otherwise quite happy it's usable and will be helpful. Once my daughter confirms her test centre I will purchase the remainder.

Thanks for the review Mark, some valid points and we have made some adjustments to the website to make it clearer and to recommend a completely free app as well. The reason we don’t recommend Google Maps/My Maps is because it doesn’t offer turn by turn navigation however you're quite right it is very easy to upload the maps and see the route on a map, the overlay that you mention is created by google as a direct line between waypoints and can be removed in the desktop version of My Maps, and just to reiterate to people that are reading this it is Google "My Maps" that will allow this not "Google Maps" and it is not turn by turn navigation it is a static view of the route on a map which is why we recommend TomTom GO app or something similar. As you’ve mentioned about test centres maybe it’s because you’re looking for an earlier date. Look for cancellations on a Monday it’s the day of the week with the most movement in test dates.
