Useless handheld vacuum
Purchased a handheld vacuum - absolute rubbish, it doesn't work properly and they charge me £84 for it!!! When it arrived the box was completely damaged but not the packaging which means it was damaged before it was put in the envelope. After complaining they offered a % off and not return the goods. I wanted to a full refund - so have sent it back - I await a refund!

I, like everyone else, was taken in by the reviews. I ordered two and was surprised that with everything saying it was Australia's best selling hand held vacuum I was charged in USD not AUD. This doubled the price of the purchase. I too had an extended warranty charged to my purchase that was not ordered or shown as an option. Then reading through the reviews here. Lucy Thompson mention about a recurring payment, I had paid through PayPal. Fair enough when it looked there was a recurring payment on my PayPal account. I cancelled it straight away! I Emailed the company straight away and asked for a full refund and to cancel the order. I threatened to raise a dispute with PayPal.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. They will steal your money.
EDIT 06/04/2026 - The refund was from PayPal not from Dustaclean. I was told by Dustaclean they could not refund my money as they had already posted the order. Even though I contacted them within 10-15 minutes of ordering. If this is true, I should receive the items ordered. I was told by Dustaclean that I could return the items under their 30 day return policy. After raising a dispute with PayPal they refunded my money, not Dustaclean.

Absolutely shocked by the service & item received. Placed an order when paid included and extended warranty I didn’t want total £84 took a month to arrive & I’ve tried to email several times & it just bounces back unable to deliver. I tried to get my money back via PayPal they couldn’t help as item wasn’t broken or missing parts !! item is tiny & like a child’s toy there is no paperwork included. I want my money back but unable to contact seller. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE !!! And DON’T Bother with PayPal they side with scammers & WILL NOT help !

I have just received this this item that they call a vacuum cleaner,it’s absolutely tiny and took over a month to arrive, I wish I had read the reviews before spending £84 on something I wouldn’t buy my grandchildren. I tried to email to check on the order but it was returned as it couldn’t be sent. These people should not be allowed to sell this product,a total scam.

After reading an online article…
After reading an online article comparing handheld vacuums that rated DustaClean number 1, I wound up at their website and purchased one unit - via PayPal. As soon as the PayPal confirmation showed up on my phone that showed that I was charged for 2 units, I IMMEDIATELY contacted DustaClean’s customer service person who stated that he would look into the issue. Then, a FEW minutes later, I received an email stating that my order could not be changed or refunded because it was already in shipping mode! All of this occurred on Saturday, March 28, 2026!!
Now I am hearing from other upset customers that I may never get my money back!

Scam.
Tried to cancel my order 15 mins after placing. They refused because it had already been dispatched?! They also set unauthorised reacuring debit card transaction and helped themselves to another order. I paid with PayPal so the 2nd order was cancelled along with the recurring payment. A case for the original order was raised. During this time no tracking details were supplied (even though they claimed they couldn't cancel the order because it had already been dispatched). After 1 week I escalated this to a claim and a week later PayPal found in my favor and the money was refunded. Lucky escape. Bunch of dying cowboys.

Do not order from this company . It took weeks to arrive no communication from the company on date of arrival and on receiving the vacuum and using it on the day of delivery it made a loud noise stopped and then smoked.........! dead and dangerous !!!!! . I sent an email to the customer service email address and google could not deliver it . So no product and no way of getting a refund !!!!!!!
