TQ law was excellent!
I recently instructed Easy choice conveyancing and was allocated to TQ Law. The service they provided was excellent. They were incredibly quick, completing in 6 weeks - much faster than I was expecting. On top of that, the price was very competitive. TQ law managed the conveyancing process smoothly, staying in contact with me throughout to answer my questions. They also provided helpful advice along the way. I highly recommend their services.

Bad Experience - Poor Communication Don't Recommend!
Had a really bad experience with this company. The solicitor we were assigned messed us around for over three months over an issue with the property's title, communication was very poor and we had to do a lot of chasing. He even took annual leave without telling us, and only emailed me back when I either phoned up, or eventually made a complaint. After this, the Solicitor decided he could no longer act for our lender because of the issue with the title.
We got a second opinion and have such a better experience with our new solicitor. We have been offered an indemnity policy which covers the issue with the title and are now able to proceed with the purchase.
Unfortunately the refund we received from Easy Choice did not include the cost of the searches and Easy Choice's "AML" fee, which is unfortunate as our new Solicitor couldn't reduce their fee based on some of the required searches being carried out. Really disappointing, as it means we're out of pocket, our time has been wasted, and a lot of stress has been added to an already stressful situation.

We will start off by saying that you are fully aware you are purchasing a property with a defective title. Our conveyancing experts, the director of the firm, and the compliance officer all reviewed your file and drew the same conclusion: when you come to sell the property, you will be unable to do so. The indemnity policy your new solicitors have advised will not help you when you come to sell the property. Your solicitor advised you not to purchase the property; if you decided to proceed, you would need to instruct another firm as the risk is very high.
Regarding the lack of communication from your solicitor, we both know that is not true.Your solicitor took annual leave for 5 days during your purchase; during this time, he answered every single one of your phone calls and emails while on holiday and during the whole process.
Regarding the refund, you were aware your searches and AML reports were ordered on instruction; if you decide to instruct another firm, your reports can be transferred with you to your new solicitor. If you had let us know that your new firm would not accept the official searches or ID reports, we would have been more than happy to refund you for this. However, you did not mention this to us, the same way you did not mention any problems until you wrote this review.
We fully understand you are not happy that you had to instruct another firm to handle your purchase; however, we cannot facilitate you in purchasing a property, which we know will have major issues down the line.

Avoid Avoid Avoid! and if you're in doubt…AVOID!...They weren't on the panel for my lenders, this is one of the first things they should have checked! and 4 weeks later refused to refund my money…they said they would refund it less the search fees because they were completed, naturally, I had to find another conveyancer, who would not reduce the fees they charged, because Easychoice did some of the searches, they then account manager contacted me to say if I take down the review he would refund me in full, and if I did not he wouldn't, their an absolute joke!...shocking customer service!
