First time user with a voluntary Co-operative
As an untrained volunteer Treasurer for a newly established Co-operative I found EDF very helpful and intuitive, particularly the guidance notes. Only paying on submission of the completed accounts and tax submission was a big reason for choosing EDF in the first place. Whilst year 1 did mean getting to grips with some of the financial language I am sure future years will now be easier

I wasn't alone in this absolute hellscape of tax season!
English is my second language, and my accounting knowledge is basically limited to 'money goes in, money goes out'—so filing my own taxes required a level of courage I didn't know I possessed!
I clicked 'Try now for free' and within a few minutes, I was in. The interface is ridiculously clear and user-friendly. The fonts and color scheme are so calm and soothing that they actually cured my tax-induced panic, even though I was in a massive rush to file XDDD!
Pro tip: Do not hesitate to use the chat box. There are actual, real-life human beings behind the scenes waiting to save you! It was such a relief to realise I wasn't alone in this absolute hellscape of tax season!

Can't submit my return - their system doesn't have a critical form needed. I'd advise people to use a company that does have a complete service.
Contacted support who kept promising to fix their service but never did.

I'm a doctor who has a micro company. I have filed the tax online directly into HMRC/Companies House via CATO for the last few years. I was worried that this year would be complex as now I need to submit via a “software". To my surprise, this made the process easier. Easy Digital Filing has a simple user-friendly website. Easy to use once you have your Profit and Loss account. For a small company it removes the need for an accountant. Now used it for several years.

Gets the job done
Have been using these guys for the last few years to file our end of year corporation tax return for our property business. Easy to use, and also enables filing to Companies House for the accounts at the same time which is really useful. I had to use their chat support this year, quick response with a screen snip on what I needed to do. I don't think they have changed their prices since I started, which is good too. All in all 10/10.
