DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
I bought 20 soffit lights for a new build and the cover came off 8 of them which then stopped working. I returned them to Zetmet (Electrical Discounted Supplies) and had to keep chasing them up. They eventually said they couldn't understand why they were faulty as they had sold thousands with no problems. They said as a gesture of goodwill they would refund the postage for sending back the faulty lights. These lights have a three year warranty. When Zetmet sold them on Amazon they stated under the product description “Each 8W downlight comes with a 3 year no quibble guarantee, is supplied brand new manufacturer boxed with full fitting instructions and products guidelines and are fully certified for use in the UK with both RoHs and CE approval.”
When I informed Paul from Zetmet (Electrical Discounted Supplies) that I was going to complain to trading standards, he emailed me and said “Please do not threaten this company as it will not be tolerated”.

Thank you for your feedback.
As explained on the phone and email, Red Arrow (the manufacturer of these lights) have advised it is not possible for the covers to simply fall out, unless damaged during installation or installed incorrectly.
The 8 lights you returned never even had these covers inside the box.
If we had supplied faulty items or made an error on our part a no quibble refund would have been issued. However, under these circumstances this is not the case. We did indeed offer a goodwill gesture to cover the return cost as we always want to treat our customers fairly.
Many business and not just ourselves would see the following comments ‘I'll get onto trading standards and Trustpilot’ as threatening behavior to try and force a refund. At Zetmet we have a zero tolerance stance on this.
Finally, we’d also like to put on record the customer demanded a refund for electrician costs of £80 as well as the item cost and all our replies to correspondence were in a timely and polite manner.
