My unfortunate septorhinoplasty with Mr Hassan in August 2021
I do not write this review with any malice but only to educate and possibly deter people from making the same mistakes I did.

Sadly, I put my trust in Dr Hassan and my functional and cosmetic requests were dismissed, ignored and ultimately he did what he thought was best. This left me with a contour nose, disproportionate to my face with dents and extreme functional difficulties. My main request was the functional aspect to improve my breathing and if possible to dehump my nose - I still wanted the same sizing of the nose and possibly a slight subtle NATURAL change in shape. Unfortunately I did not get that and I wish he would of consulted me with what he wanted to do with my nose and the possible side effects as I would of yet again highlighted my specific requests and concerns.
I have literally wasted all of my savings, (paid £10,595), just to have a nose that I am cosmetically and functionally upset with.

PLEASE if you adamantly want a rhinoplasty, PLEASE see a ENT NOSE SPECIALIST as they will perform surgery with the functional and cosmetic aspects in mind.
The risks of your first rhinoplasty is about 5% and now I am wanting to have a revision rhinoplasty in the foreseeable future and the risks have significantly increased to 15-20%. IT is SO IMPORTANT that you pick the best and most suitable surgeon THE FIRST TIME around and unfortunately I do not feel Mr Hassan is that.
I now have breathing difficulties with the simplest things, sleeping and slow walking and frankly don’t even want to go out anymore from the hassle and look of my nose.

I knew and expressed from the 3 month review that I was not happy with my nose but kept waiting in the hopes that things would improve but sadly things only got worse. When it came to my 12 month review and I brought up concerns, Mr Hassan kept using reassurance and praise to deflect my genuine concerns and only suggested filler for the dents. Sadly, with certain companies and professionals it is purely a business with money in mind and a lack of care for the patients.

This is just a bit of personal advice which may be debatable to some but I got this surgery at the age of 21 and really urge people to at least wait until 25 when they are more mature and may not be as influenced by societal pressures and beauty standards. In hindsight, if I knew the likelihood of these side effects occurring and that this would be my reality, I do not think I would of acted hastily to have this operation.

Overall, please please please, think rationally and carefully about this surgery and WHO would be best for your cosmetic and functional needs, preferably an Ent nose specialist.
I honestly do not wish my experience on anyone and can only hope that someone is more aware and benefitted from my review.

Two years ago, I had liposuction on my legs (inner thighs, outer thighs and knees) with Mr Hassan and I am only getting round to sit down and write about my experience today. It's not that I needed time to form an opinion about my treatment (I was blown away right from the word go) it's just that whatever I wrote in my head didn't seem to do justice to the transformative procedure I had.

First, I feel I must give you a little bit of background information. My legs have been a huge insecurity of mine since the age of 16 (I am now 40) and have pretty much ruled my life. Clothes shopping was an absolute nightmare as everything seemed to accentuate my saddle bags thighs. I was happy with my weight overall but still dieted in a bid to get rid of my saddle bags and misshaped knees. I was losing fat everywhere but nothing to seem to make a dent on my legs. I was destined to a life of skater skirts, heels and long "nightie dresses" on top of leggings in the gym. I had been dreaming of having liposuction since the age of 18 but didn't know where to start. Fast forward two decades later and I heard GLORIOUS reports of Mr Hassan and decided to take the plunge and book a consultation.

Consultation couldn't have gone any smoother. Originally, I wanted my inner thighs, outer thighs, knees AND "cankles" done but Mr Hassan assured me that a liposuction on thighs and knees would be enough to make a difference to my silhouette. And he was absolutely right! Many surgeons, I am sure would have just taken my money and even tried to sell me more procedures but he wasn't like that. What.a.guy!

I am now the owner of a stunning and smooth pair of legs and still, 2 years later, I still get emotional realising how much the operation has changed my life. I now also have a thigh gap which makes me feel like I have won a few inches in overall height. Cankles? I don't even notice my ankles anymore and he didn't even go near the ankles. I now also understand why liposuction is also called liposculpture. The definition achieved around the bum, the knees, the side of the thighs leaves me speechless. Not to hoot my own horn but I look phenomenal!

I will always feel more glamourous in a pair of heels but I don't feel like I need to wear heels anymore, on a daily basis. In terms of clothes, nothing feels out of bounds anymore and I can't get over that!

Would I have surgery again with Dr Hassan? I am actually on my way to have a mini face lift (modified one stitch face lift - NOT a thread lift) and I am giddy with excitement. Please relay my most sincere thanks to Dr Hassan (and his great team) This second life he has given me is awesome. <3 <3

After a rhinoplasty 20 years ago, which had left my nose collapsing, my research for a highly skilled surgeon in revision rhinoplasty led me to Mr Hassan. From our first zoom consultation I knew I had found the one, not only for his extensive knowledge and experience but his kindness and compassion immediately shone through.
I was provided with detailed information of what would happen and a realistic plan for what could be achieved- Mr Hassan exceeded all of this for me.

Once I had made my decision to proceed I was able to book a surgery date quickly and could not have asked for better care. I have felt supported by Mr Hassan and his lovely team every step of the way both before and following surgery.

Through our discussions Mr Hassan was well aware of the issues I had with the appearance and function of my nose but I left it in his capable hands to decide on the final look, having trust in him as an artist, as well as a surgeon, to build a nose suited to my face. My surgery was in fact even more complicated than expected and took longer than anticipated-but as promised I did not leave the operating table until he was confident the best result possible had been achieved. Just a matter of weeks after surgery not only did my nose look so much better but there was also considerable improvement to my breathing.

3 months into my recovery I am so happy with the result. There is still visible swelling but I’ve been amazed by the brilliant outcome, to me I have been given the nose that should always have been there. My nose is no longer a worry or concern to me and for this I will be forever grateful to Mr Hassan and cannot recommend him highly enough.

After extensive research for cosmetic surgery one name stood out for me and that was Mr Sultan Hassan. Three months ago I underwent a facelift, lip lift and upper eye lift with Mr Hassan and I have to say that only three months later everything I have had looks amazing.
I would recommend Mr Hassan without any hesitation, he made me feel totally at ease from the first consultation, through my procedure until to-date with my three month zoom appointment and will be seeing him in six months time.
Mr Hassan is a very down to earth person and extremely likable, gives you confidence to pursue cosmetic procedures without any fear.
Everything I have proceeded with is exceptional from firstly contacting Mr Hassan's office which is expertly run by lovely Carolyn and Simon who looked after me with kindness and care, cannot thank them enough.
Five star throughout all my care.

Dr Hassan and the team (Carolyn and Simon) have been the answer to my prayers and he has given me the nose that I had only dreamt about after having a poor outcome from a previous rhinoplasty performed when I was 23 years old, 6 years ago. I had alar collapse, inverted v deformity, scarred deviated septum and saddle deformity. I researched for two years before deciding on Dr Hassan. I checked on real self and Instagram as well as seeing him operate on programs for the BBC and Channel 4. This gave me so much confidence. During my virtual consultation he was attentive and was so confident! I immediately knew that he was the surgeon to help me. He was so down to earth and despite warning me about all the risks of complex revision surgery he promised that I would not leave his operating table until he was happy that he had done everything possible to give me the best chance of a great result. I actually didn’t ask him for a particular result but asked him to do whatever he felt was best for my nose . I am so glad that I asked dr hassan to do whatever he felt would suit me. He is an artist as well as the best rhinoplasty surgeon.

My aunt had major facelift surgery by Dr Hassan 2 years ago and she still looks 20 years younger! He is a caring, lovely and compassionate doctor who helps put you at ease immediately and always addressed any queries that I had both before and after my rhinoplasty surgery. 100% recommend Dr Hassan!!!

Its important to be realistic but realise that some people are very unrealistic and unstable and it’s unfortunate that doctors can’t really defend themselves on these types of forums. 99% of his reviews are fantastic (helped me decide he was the one) and if you’re realistic and mentally balanced then you will never regret trusting the amazing Dr Hassan!❤️

I realise that most of his reviews are on real self and Instagram. My aunt (who had a facelift) and everyone who we know have said that Dr Hassans results have exceeded their expectations and that’s why he is asked to perform surgeries for the BBC, sky and channel 4. This wouldn’t be the case if he wasn’t excellent or the best at what he does!!

The look of my nose is something that has bothered for years, I couldn’t bare to look at photos of myself & it knocked my confidence on a daily basis. I had a very wide bridge and I debated for a very long time wether to take the plunge and have a rhinoplasty and all I can say is it’s the best thing I have ever done and I wish I had done it sooner!
Having surgery is a scary thing but having surgery on your face is much more daunting, Mr Hassan made the whole process so pleasant.
I had several consultations with different rhinoplasty surgeons and Mr Hassan was the only one I felt 100% confidant in. From my first consultation with him I was left feeling excited and relieved that I had finally found the perfect surgeon. Mr Hassan was extremely knowledgeable and gave me such in-depth, detailed information about what was expected before, during and after the surgery, he was honest, drew diagrams of my nose and showed what surgery would be performed and answered all my questions.
On the day of the surgery I was extremely nervous, I had so many thoughts running through my head.
After being checked in to my room I met the anaesthetist, Natish, he calmed me down and gave me so much reassurance. I was so thankful for his kindness and professionalism, again giving me so much information about the process I had nothing to worry about.
After this Mr Hassan came and made me feel at ease and confident in the process, we again spoke about what I wanted my nose to look like and the next steps of the day.

2 weeks after the surgery, it was time to take my cast off… I haven’t stopped smiling since. The results were absolutely incredible, far better then I could have ever imagined.
It has now been 4 months, the whole experience from after the surgery has been no where near as bad as expected. I hardly experienced any pain at all, discomfort yes but all manageable. Swelling and bruising was minimal. I put this down to all the advice given before surgery! Taking arnica tablets, vitamins, drinking pineapple juice, massaging and taping. I would highly recommend doing all these things.
After the surgery I was contacted by Simon from Elite surgical, to follow up how I was getting on, he answered any of my questions and give me advice. Again making the experience brilliant, knowing how caring and invested everyone is in you.
Mr Hassan I can not thank you enough, my nose is perfect, it’s suited to my face, it hasn’t drastically changed the way I look (which was a concern of mine) and it’s exactly what I wanted. You listened to me and gave me a beautifully shaped nose which I am beyond happy with.Thank you to everyone at Elite surgical!

Amazing results thank you for making me like myself after years of discomfort about my appearance.

After having undergone a septo-rhinoplasty procedure on the 1st of July 2021 with Dr Hassan and thus coming up to a year post-surgery I am able to write an honest, fair and holistic review on Dr Hassan and the team at Elite Surgical.

The consultation: 15-30 minutes over zoom on the 11th of May 2021 where a slight deviation was noted (I was not aware I had one prior to the zoom meeting) hence it was put forward that rather than a rhinoplasty as I thought I had needed that a septo-rhinoplasty was in fact necessary.
Note: for this consultation I had sent over a two page powerpoint showing clearly the type of nose and aesthetic I was hoping to achieve that would be inline with my features and overall facial harmony.

The second consultation was also via Zoom, where I explained my family would also like to be present as well as for myself to be able to assimilate what had previously been discussed.

I was asked by Carolyn Andrews to sign the papers that had been sent over, and pay the £2000 deposit to secure a date as I was told "the dates fill up fast". I paid my deposit on the 22nd of June 2021 at 08:30:56 prior to my second consultation.

This consultation was on the Wednesday the 23rd of June. After this consultation, I spoke to Carolyn Andrews regarding potential dates for surgery and was told the 7th of July was available via email. However Carolyn shortly called me afterwards and told me the 7th would no longer be possible as Dr Hassan only operated when he has a full clinic. I asked how many patients he had on that day and the response was 11 patients. I was then allocated the 1st of July exactly 5 working days until my Surgery. My family and I both felt it was very rushed and my family urged me to rethink but I insisted and went ahead.

Surgery Day: Arrival at West Midlands Hospital at 7:30 I was prepped for surgery and ready and waiting. The hospital is clean and staff are pleasant.

Dr Hassan came to see me, this was my first time meeting the Dr where we discussed what I wanted to have done. Dr Hassan did say at this point that I had a nice nose and if I was sure that I wanted this done and then proceeded to tell me what he would fix and how he would fix it in the same breath, this felt very strange as I was getting very mixed signals and was left feeling a little confused to say the least. It is important to note that the doctor did not mark up my nose and that it felt very rushed as he had been down in theatre and was running late. I went down to the theatre and was put to sleep.

Post operative care at the hospital: The nurses were fantastic and really helped me. Dr hassan came to my room late evening to show me photos on his phone i remember seeing the frontal view and being shocked to which he replied ignore that its swelling.

Post operative care elite surgical: Quite possibly the most traumatizing experience of my life. I had noticed prior to surgery, many women and girls thanking Carolyn Andrews for her tough hand and for giving them a dose of reality when they voiced concerns and thought nothing of it. However, when it came to my experience I found her mannerisms very abrasive and at times felt she was outright bullying to the point where she had diagnosed me with body dysmorphia over the phone when i voiced concerns stating "sometimes what we see what our eyes is not the same as what is actually in front of us". I was absolutely distraught at this point, was not leaving the house and my world felt like it was crashing around me.

It is important to note that I have never undergone any cosmetic procedures before, do not regard myself as someone uncontrollably obsessed with my looks and have never been diagnosed with depression, anxiety, body dysmorphia or any other illness. Other than high blood pressure, pollen allergies and a penicillin allergy nothing with my health both mentally and physically has ever been a problem nor an issue. I contacted Dr Hassan immediately, and rather than being reassured was told directly that it was not the case.

Ultimately, as I felt very trapped at this point i began posting my results on instagram with before and after shots. Elite surgical replied to these posts with direct messages on Instagram on the 22nd of November, 1st of December and the 2nd of December. I did not reply to these messages. Further to this on the evening of the 2nd of December I was called twice via instagram video call at 20:07, both of which i did not answer as I felt it was unsuitable.

Since then, I have had 3 follow ups where I have been dismissed and my concerns have been reduced to "the deviation isn't as bad as you think it is" bearing in mind that prior to surgery I was unaware I had a deviation and that "sometimes a bigger deviation can occur post surgery". I am deeply unhappy with my results and after care has not been what I was promised. Please use instagram to find unhappy patients.

I highly recommend Mr Sultan Hassan and the team at Elite Surgical. I am three months post-op revision rhinoplasty and I am delighted with the result. My research to find Mr Hassan paid off. After having an initial rhinoplasty twenty years ago and a second corrective operation (by the same surgeon) the following year I needed to find a highly skilled surgeon to finally fix my nose.
I was satisfied that Mr Hassan had plenty of experience, not only in rhinoplasties but in revision rhinoplasties; a complex operation that many cosmetic surgeons avoid. Importantly, Mr Hassan’s credentials were impressive and verifiable. Perusing the before and after photos which are shared on the Elite Surgical Instagram account gave me a good feel for his aesthetic sense. I liked what I saw; beautiful, natural looking noses (a far cry from the Barbie look of the 90’s-phew).
I contacted Elite Surgical and I was met with friendly, professional help from Carolyn and Simon, the office team. They replied swiftly to my (many) queries. I had two consultations with Mr Hassan via Zoom (remember I’d already had two negative experiences so I wanted to be sure). Mr Hassan immediately saw what I disliked about my nose and finally put names to the issues I’d been trying to describe for a long time. Specifically, I had an ‘inverted v deformity’, ‘retracted nostrils’ and a ‘droopy tip’ among other things. Google shows that these can be common pitfalls of a rhinoplasty (best to be aware!).
After the consultation I was given a cooling off period and offered a pre-cosmetic surgery psychological assessment. This was music to my ears. I work as a psychotherapist and cannot stress the importance of having sound mental health prior to making a huge decision such as going under the knife! So, credentials, reviews, ethics and two successful consultations all ticked off I was good to go!
The staff and facilities at the West Midlands Hospital in Birmingham were fantastic and I was kept comfortable and informed prior to my surgery. Mr Hassan visited me before surgery and assured me that he would not let me leave the operating table until he had done the best work he could. If you ever want to come across a perfectionist it’s when they’re operating on your face!
Post-op recovery went smoothly and was relatively pain-free. The worst thing was the packing in my nose which meant frequent wakefulness during the night due to having a mouth like the Sahara Desert (hello Biotene spray- a lifesaver!). Regular calls from Simon (office manager) were reassuring; I knew there was someone on hand during recovery should I need it. My three month-post op journey concluded recently with a consultation with Mr Hassan in which we both agreed the outcome of my nose operation was more than satisfactory (in fact, it’s exactly what I wanted!).

I’m a male 30 years of age finally got my nose sorted!
After years of bullying during my school years I put my trust in Doctor Hassan.
His superb skill and attention to detail has given me my confidence back
I am no longer hiding or tilting my head away to hide my droopy nose!

I have recently undergone a neck lift and upper eyelid surgery. The results are amazing.The whole experience from beginning to end was a good one and Mr Hassan and his team have been professional throughout. This was not a painful procedure although a little discomfort. The healing process is as amazing. I am writing this review 3 months post surgery and the results get better each day. My only advice is to be patient and allow time to heal. I would highly recommend Dr Hassan to anyone considering surgery

I decided to get my rhinoplasty done with Dr Sultan Hassan after looking and speaking to other previous patients and safe to say he did not disappoint. I have always hated my side profile because of my nose and now I would confidently say it is my best feature. Everyone was so lovely and were always there if you had any worries. If you're thinking of having a rhinoplasty I couldn't recommend Elite Surgical enough!

Im almost two months post rhinoplasty, I can't thank Dr Hassan and the team enough. It was my first surgery experience so I was pretty worried but it's something I've wanted for years. The team reassured me every step of the way. The healing was a lot better than i expected with minimal pain and bruising which faces within a few days. I can finally look straight at myself in the mirror and not feel self conscious all the time. My biggest insecurity is gone!

STAY AWAY!! From dr Sultan Hassan I asked for small changes to my nose I wanted my dorsal hump removed and smaller refined tip without the nose being lifted. Basically a smaller and straighter version of my nose. However, my bone was over shaven so small for my face and the tip was way over lifted. I also asked for a more narrow bridge which I have always had!!! But thought it could be a little slimmer but he made it wider sticking structures in my nose which was not discussed! He went away and did what he wanted to my nose and now my face is ruined. I was so much prettier before and would do anything for my old nose back! He gives ‘contour noses’ which was not discussed and he does not know how to perform them as they should be slimmer and all one length! Mine is wider and different lengths the whole way down the nose making the bottom part look like it’s sticking out my face a lot with hardly any bridge left. He takes too much cartridge out of the brides! And RECONSTRUCTED MY NOSE to a complete different shape?? I would not recommend unless you want your life ruined! I wish I did more research before rushing into such an inexperienced surgeon. Who also made out I was crazy because I was upset with results I didn’t ask for.

I had my rhinoplasty procedure with Dr Hassan in June at the Manchester Private Hospital and now at 3 months post-op I can happily say that I am so overwhelmingly pleased with the result. I consulted with Dr Hassan in March and he was my first and only consultation. I had originally intended to have multiple consultations as per the general advice, but after meeting Dr Hassan I immediately felt reassured and in safe hands. He explains every single aspect of the procedure thoroughly and in a way that you can understand. He takes the time to understand your reasons for surgery and reassures you that you do not need the procedure rather than jumping right into areas of improvement, which was lovely. That said, after hearing my concerns, I trusted Dr Hassan and felt that he knew exactly what to do. On the day of surgery, we sat in front of the mirror and discussed what would be done. At every stage I felt confident in Dr Hassan’s ability to deliver and at no point did I feel rushed or my opinions not fully considered. Surgery itself was somehow an enjoyable experience – I felt more excited than nervous and the staff at the hospital went above and beyond. The whole process could not have been any easier. Dr Hassan took the time to come and see me after surgery, despite being the last patient of a very long day of operating. He showed me the on-table result and while it was such an incredible difference, the photos didn’t do my new nose justice. I was shocked (and also very relieved!) that Dr Hassan didn’t have to make nostril incisions which would have resulted in extra scarring, and yet he was still able to achieve such a drastic and improved result. On cast-off day I just felt so incredibly happy and only wished that I had done it sooner. The aftercare from Elite Surgical has been second to none – both the nurses at the hospital and Elite’s own team contacted me multiple times throughout the first few weeks to ensure I was recovering well and to check on me after stitch removal. I never once felt I was just left to get on with things – I had multiple points of contact if I had any questions or concerns. At 3 months the small incision scar isn’t even visible, which seems to be common for Dr Hassan’s patients and is just another testament to his precision and skill. Overall, I just can’t recommend Dr Hassan and his team enough. It is such a big decision to undergo cosmetic surgery and you can feel so vulnerable at times – I knew it was important to have every trust in my surgeon and I absolutely did with Dr Hassan. He is exceptionally personable, highly professional, his bedside manner outstanding and, most importantly, such a talented surgeon. Can’t thank you enough.

I just wanted to email you in regards to one of your surgeons you have working for your company Dr Sultan Hassan. I wanted to let you know about my sisters situation and see if there’s any way you can help us. My sister recently went to Dr Hassan in Manchester for a rhinoplasty nose job and it has only been 3 months but she’s not happy with the results at all. Just to let you know how bad it really is she wakes up upset everyday and she’s even been having suicidal thoughts…she’s never been like that her whole life. I think what he has done it seriously wrong, he didn’t listen to what she wanted. He actually did the opposite to what she wanted and just did what he thought would look better. She’s paid £11,000 and has come out hating her nose more then before she had it done and she keeps saying she regrets it. Also she felt more confident before the nose job, that’s how much she’s not happy with the results. She won’t leave the house either which is a huge deal as she’s a very social and out going person. Also she’s been training at the gym for years and she hasn’t been able to do so now.

It’s not nice to see a family member in this state of mind. We will be getting lawyers and solicitors involved at this point, as we believe Dr Hassan is not helping her further and this is wrong as she’s paid so much money ..also he didn’t rise to his ‘expertise’. It’s a failed service he has given and we’re disappointed as a family, we don’t want Dr Hassan to rectify the situation. I just hope somebody gets back to me and actually has a plan of action to help her.

It has been 6 months since my rhinoplasty and I am really happy with the results.
Mr Hassan was reassuring and informative throughout the whole process. I had never had an operation or a general anaesthetic before so I was very nervous. However, the before care and after care treatment was very good.
I am really pleased with my ‘new nose’ my only regret is that I wished I had done it sooner. It has taken 40 years to build up the courage to do it,
