I have recently had an excellent experience Elite Wine and Whisky. I am new to investing in the cask whisky market and Thomas Johnson very carefully guided me through the process. The eventual trade exceeded what we thought was initially possible. I had excellent communication throughout the process and was treated with complete professionalism.

I have had a call with Harry who has reassured me around the investment, growth potential, as well as selling opportunities in the next few years.

I am happy to recommend Elite Wine & Whisky as a reliable and genuine company in this field , goodness knows there are many unscrupulous companies out there and anyone thinking of investing in whisky needs to tread very carefully indeed when selecting a company to broker for you

I do a lot of research before I invest and am naturally cynical and even though I have been with Elite now for 3 years I was keen to see if there was a 360 degree service (i.e. buying and also successfully selling with a good return)

It is therefore with much relief and reignited enthusiasm that I am able to report that recently Harry was able to successfully sell one of my casks at a good return.

It is a challenging environment out there at the moment, but given this recent reassurance in the whole process I will be happy to continue investing with Elite.

Having dealt with Elite since 2021, I visited the bond in Edinburgh in early May. It was fantastic to be able to not only see my investments but actually have a tasting and meet up with all of the Elite staff. We were treated like royalty and I would thoroughly recommend them if you wish to make an investment in whisky casks.

Elite Wine & whisky invited my husband George & myself Linda to a whiskey tasting in Edinburgh, first we visited the warehouse where our whisky's casks are stored. We sampled one of our casks , the warehouse staff were absolutely lovely & explained a lot about whiskey, Luke who looks after our portfolio & Sophie it was great putting faces to their names , it was a great day . Nothing was never too much trouble for any of them , & you were never pressured into purchasing anything, I would definitely recommend Elite Whiskey for investments .

Just done a warehouse cask visit with Elite Wine &Whiskyin Edinburgh after investing in January with my first cask and 2nd cask about 3 weeks ago. Excellent visit to view my casks in the warehouse and also got to sample the cask too. Great to meet everyone finally and put faces to names. Also great to meet likewise investors and chat to them too.
The talk at the warehouse gave a fantastic insite In to the way the cask are made and also flavoured and stored. Elite Whisky have bee amazing from start to finish including Luke who looks after my portfolio, sophie and maisie who look after the admin, etc, nick and the rest of the team I meet on the day. Nothing is too much trouble for any of them. Also no high pressure pushy sales pestering you all the time to buy like some other companies ive come across in this field. An amazing company who make you feel welcome, realxed and part of the family. Would definately recommend Elite Whisky and wine.

Our recent visit to the distillery warehouse in Kirkliston, Edinburgh, with Elite Wine & Whisky was an incredible experience. The tour focused on viewing the warehouse where our own barrels were stored, and we had the rare opportunity to sample whisky straight from both our own casks and some of Elite’s exclusive selections. Tasting whisky at different stages of its aging process was truly fascinating, giving us a deeper appreciation for its development.

A huge thank you to Steve Bishop, the Managing Director, whose passion for whisky made the experience both insightful and enjoyable. Executive Director Nick Greene provided expert knowledge, guiding us through the tasting with interesting details about each cask. Thomas Johnston, Head of Private Trade, was a fantastic host, ensuring everything ran smoothly. And of course, Maisie Keller and Sophie Tipping added a lovely, personable touch, making us feel welcomed from start to finish.

It was also a pleasure meeting other barrel owners who joined us on the visit. Sharing stories and experiences with fellow whisky enthusiasts made the day even more special, adding a sense of community to the experience.

After the warehouse visit, we headed to Cannonball for a wonderful meal. Alongside the fantastic food, we had the opportunity to taste three different types of whisky, each accompanied by expert insights into their profiles and characteristics. It was the perfect way to round off an already exceptional day.

For anyone looking for a first-class whisky experience, Elite Wine & Whisky is the team to go with. Their expertise, professionalism, and warmth make them stand out, and I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Thomas made the process of selling my cask very easy. We needed a wait of two or three months to ensure that the market was buoyant enough to guarantee me a decent return, but he was able to give clear and helpful advice during the process. The sale itself was incredibly easy; I received the funds into my account the same day that it was agreed. In due course I shall invest with this company again. Professional and reliable service from Thomas throughout.

Been dealing with this company for three years. They know their stuff about Whisky. I always judge a company by how they deal with things if something goes awry. It did a bit, but it was dealt with swiftly and well. My experience shows that investing in a cask or two is definately better than other such investments like shares as the Whisky matures and increases in value with age. I recommend giving these guys a go.
