Very poor experience.
I am writing this review on behalf of my uncle, who is an older person and does not speak or write English.
He did not feel comfortable dealing with this company.
Communication was confusing and important information was not clear to him.
This caused stress and a loss of trust.
Based on his experience, I would not recommend this company

Website down for over 1 year now and they are unreachable. Looks like a clear Scam. C. Cregeen has disappeared. Looks they asked friends and family to make reviews on trustpilot.

I bought my Cask 3 years ago with Catton and said I would write a review at the end of the service.

I did my due diligence to ensure it wasn't a scam, with receipts and pictures of the cask, which they did provide rather swiftly.
However, over the past 2 years, communication has been slow and their website has gone down.
From what I have calculated, my 2 casks haven't gained in value (ofc to be expected with investments)

Overall, disappointing service from Charles Catton.

Catton Casks were a company that I decided I could invest with. I researched their facilities and background and then I used their expertees and advice to aquire three whisky casks in 2022.
I needed to sell at least one early this year and Charles started the sale process. After some delay (which was out the control of Charles) I accepted an offer and the result was a very good increase in value over the three year investment.

I bought a cask of Whiskey through Catton casks but had to sell my cask earlier than intended. Still ended up with 18% tax free profit after about 20 months. I will use Catton casks again in the future.

Although I had to sell my cask earlier the. Expected. The team at Catton were highly communicative, knowledgable and very helpful. I would highly recommend speaking to Charles Cregeen.

Solid people with knowledge of the market. Adaptive and understanding of your needs. Recommend.

My initial introduction.to Catton Casks was via an Internet advert which put me in contact with Charles Credeen. Charles provided me with a very well informed and detailed structure of the companies.aspirations and current business practices,including a detailed run down on how the business of investing in malt whisky works. His knowledge of the business was very thorough and informative. We have had a number of discussions, all of which I found very helpful.prior to my decision to invest

My dealings with Catton Casks Ltd have been seamless from start to finish. I was kept informed and assisted throughout the process. They are transparent in all aspects of the procedure and no matter which member of staff you talk is knowledgeable of the business but also very helpful. I have now made two purchases with this company which displays the confidence vested.

my first encounter with Catton Casks was with Aaron, who guided me through there purchasing process which was very informative and forthcoming, his knowledge on whiskeys and distilleries was very informative and his openness to me contacting them for references was refreshing, after agreeing to invest with them I was contacted by Charles who guided me through the purchasing process and I’m delighted to say I have now invested with them and looking forward to see the opening of there bottling plant, definitely a company on the up and looking forward to see them progress further

Aaron got in touch with me this year after our initial conversation in September last year where I had expressed my interest in Whisky investment. I must say, I was very apprehensive initially about this investment as I really not very familiar as to how this all works.

Aaron has been very transparent, always reassured me at every step of the process right through from the AML checks to onboarding me as a client. Aaron is very diligent in keeping me updated and I look forward to the whisky investment journey and the updates that come along.

I found dealing with this company very easy. They gave me all the information I required to make an informed decision on my investment. I found the people both professional and courteous, the knowledge of the industry was comprehensive and I felt comfortable investing and not pressured at all. An excellent company to deal with!!

My account manager has regular market update for me and I feel I am well informed.
Once my cask was sent to the Bond, I was given a photo and i feel more confident on my investment.

Overall, I have trust on cattoncasks.

As a newcomer to the world of cask investment I was obviously apprehensive and wary of being scammed. From the start the conversations I had with Aaron were reassuring, he actually gave me details of the bonded warehouses they use and encouraged me to contact them to verify their credentials, which i did. This led me to taking the plunge and invest. Both he and Charles have kept me updated and all is good.

had first contact by phone last year. Hesitant as you never know if it is a scam. Decided this year to as they say "go for ". I am greatly surprised by the help ,info and a genuine desire about the product this company is selling. Aaron has been extremely helpful, approachable ,professional and open.
There is no hard fast sales pitch, which puts you in a situation where you feel obligated to purchase product. I would recommend people who are unsure about investments to listen to these guys, time costs nothing, you have a choice at the end of the day.

This is my first venture in to the world of whiskey investments and Catton Cask could not have done a better job. They provided me with very detailed information on all of the process, procedures, pros and cons. Answered all of the toughest questions, presenting in depth knowledge of the market.
After indicating initial interest they came back with offers suited to my needs.
They made me feel welcome and valued as a customer, and could not be kinder and more professional.
After making the initial investments I had an emergency. Unfortunately I was forced to void one of the contracts and pull the funds out.
Catton Casks were very fast to respond and I had my funds back within couple of days.
For anyone looking to invest in the whiskey market this is the place to go.
I am looking forward to working with these guys even more in the future.

I’m new to the world of whisky cask investment and asked lots of questions. Charles answered every single one and more. Doing my do diligence his answers more than checked out as did the company. He was knowledgeable, friendly, did not speak at a million miles an hour and did not pressure me to invest.
Charles and the team at Catton Casks know their whisky and really have their fingers on the pulse on what is going on at the moment in the whisky investment world. I’m am very interested in see how Catton Casks plans for the future plan out.
The team at Catton Casks have managed to find the balance in communicating, where they keep you in the loop without bombarding you and don’t only pop up once in a blue moon.
It’s obviously early days, so we shall see how things go, but I have no regrets and am planning to continue my whisky investing journey.

Simple and easy process for a first time whisky investor. The team (I was looked after by Aarron), are really knowledgable and informative. I have felt in safe hands the whole way through.
I have not finished the entire process yet, I.E. my cask is still waiting to mature and be sold. Which is the only reason I can’t give 5 stars.

I've done my due diligence and narrowed the choice to this company.
Both Charles and Alexander were both honest and to the point with their answers when I called. Therein is the base of an open and honest relationship in a business which has a vail over the base or root costs and profit. Both Charles and Alexander have a great understanding of the products and have leads into some of the best distilleries So when they offer you an investment opportunity it's on the level and they explain each step.
I'm now onto my second investment and looking forward to a long relationship with the company
