Ellis & Co Avis 

2 years later still traumatised by my experience with Ellis & Co and never got my deposit back despite leaving my tenancy 2 months early and still having to pay because of the awful experience that they contributed to. Horrible experience with the Wembley branch.

We've used Ellis & Co for letting and finally selling our property for over 5 years - the Bethnal Green branch.
The care and attention we have received has always been exceptional. Some estate agents give others a bad name, but this is not the case here - you're dealing with helpful staff and a team who go the extra mile.
Big shout out to Kier at the Bethnal Green branch, who has always ensured our property was let to good tenants, any issues within the property (ie broken boilers, ovens etc) were always managed in a timely fashion - we never had to get involved, they managed everything for us.
We decided to sell the property and this was managed beautifully by the team at Ellis.
They simply could not do enough to help us, and i would highly recommend and Ellis & Co for letting and management of your property or sale.

The team at the Bounds Green branch have been amazing throughout my buying experience. Mark and Demmy have been consistent, reliable and very helpful which was refreshing to see. They help me secure a property during an uncertain time for buyers in the summer.

Absolutely appalling, STAY WELL AWAY from these amateurs. Had my property on the market for a few months and despite the challenging climate, didn’t even manage to secure 1 viewing when another competitor (who is much more professional) has been considerably more proactive. Shoddy and rude customer service.

Ellis and co found us a tenant which seemed to be a nice person until we came back to uk to view the property. Taps and windows were broken, the limescale build up was as if they was there for 10 years and yet they was only there for 2. There was oil dripping from the light fixtures from there cooking and they clogged up one of the stove lighters with as I assume they didn’t clean after cooking. This went to DPS, ellis and co were no help, in giving us guidelines to what needed to be sent and in the end the repairs, cleaning and repaint of the Came to £2000 but was awarded £200 only from there clients deposit. This was our first and last time using Ellis and co as we had never had this issue with other letting agents.

Unethical & unprofessional.
Even after committing over chat that they will be contacting next day they did not whereas I have made an offer already.
I have also marked email yo the senior management like Mr ... & Mr..... & yet no response. Highly untrustworthy, incompetent & unprofessional.

Their service is one of the worst I’ve experienced (referring to their Greenford and Wembley branch). I was interested in viewing a property and contacted them the day it went on the market. A viewing was arranged but got changed three times. The fourth time the viewing was rearranged they said it was going to be be at 12pm. I was there on time and called the agency to see where the estate agent was, and they said that they are on their way. However, I waited for an hour and a half after the arranged time and still nobody turned up. I believe this is extremely unprofessional and very frustrating since they wasted my time without any valid reason. They now lost a potential buyer, and I wonder how many more they’ve lost. So, if you are someone who wants to sell your property or someone interested in buying one, there are other agencies better than this one since as a seller you wouldn’t have a lot of interest in your property due to the potential buyers’ being disrespected, and as a buyer they would just waste your time. Even one star is too much, but that’s the least I can give in this review.

Nicos and Demmy have been lovely! Very communicative and reactive to any issues that we have had, trying to get them sorted as soon as possible. Super flexible with our move in date and key collection, feel like we can definitely trust them and they are always at the end of the phone or email.

We have nothing but positive things to say about Ellis&Co. During our tenancy they were quick to respond to any issues. Highly recommend these guys to prospective tenants- easy and pleasant to deal with.

I have been dealing with Tariq and his team from Essex Road regarding the sale of my property. They have been excellent. Honest, polite, courteous and professional at all time. I give the 5* and would highly recommend

What a great experience, I thought Buying and Selling was going to be stressfull, fortunatley for us we choose the right Estate Agents - always answers our calls, helps and assists with any requests, the feed back we received was excellent - I would highly recommend Craig, Kevin and the rest of the staff at this little but more than adequate Agent.

ELLIS AND CO IN HARROW ARE THE RUDEST AND UNHELPFUL AGENT.

Giving one star because there is not the option to give zero or less. I am writing this review, based on the Angel Essex Road branch, however reading other users' reviews, it looks like all the branches offer the same awful service.
Super slow to respond to emails/calls (even for weeks sometimes!), super slow to fix issues in the flat (which is their responsibility to fix), very unprofessional, untrustworthy, and rude.
Contacting customer service and property management feels like dealing with kids who are bored to do their homework.
The only time they are responsive is when it's time to pay the rent, but will never resolve your issues.
Avoid at all costs, worst letting agency I've ever dealt with as a tenant.

This company is a joke. Avoid at all costs

Very poor service. I have a broken sink for over 7 months. It's a Health & Safety Hazard but no one cares. Not the agency or the landlord. Appalling service.

I tried calling the Bounds Green office to make an appointment for a viewing of a property, the man who answered the phone Nick, was rude from the moment he picked up the phone and did not seem to have a courteous bone in his body, he fired statements at me and when I tried to respond he then proceeded to tell me that I was rude and hung up. I called back as I was quite shocked by his rudeness and he was even worse...... astonishing ...never again, there are plenty of other agents out there, I definitely do not need to give them my business

Very poor and extremely rude.
Do not use this agent to sell your house - endless problems and delays, and no information provided. Turned a stressful process into a nightmare. Some staff are very nice but that does not make up for terrible higher management and performance.
This was the Finchley Branch - but I believe the various branches have common management.

The mixture of 1 star and a few 5 star reviews with similar wording of the latter suggests their score is boosted by some fake positives.
