Excellent paint..will use it next Spring on my new old cottage!
I haven’t used the product on my new house yet…we hope to be in by November..so painting the frontage will have to wait till next Spring.
I put two coats of the light green test-pot on a large test board and it looked great and shed water very well indeed. I will definitely use EP when I do the job.
I would have liked to see a few slightly darker shades from which to choose….sage green perhaps!
Please give me your thoughts.

Excellent so far!
The paint has all gone on well and is exactly as described. It's hard to say any more at this stage as I chose Emperor for the very long term and so far it's just been a couple of weeks. I understand why others might choose something else as this is considerably more expensive that competitors, but on the basis that the majority of the total cost is my time, then having something that doesn't need repeated applications in five, ten or even fifteen years is an obvious advantage.

Good so far
Good so far. Just in the process of putting it on but I keep getting asked for a review so I’m giving you my review so far. The paint is of a thick consistency and goes on well. We like the mushroom colour, it is really nice. Sounds funny but we were slightly put off by the mushroom colour description, but it is a good colour nevertheless! Yet to see if it’s any better than any normal paint and I don’t think we would know for a couple of years. Hopefully it is and you get what you pay for.

The paint is great the roller is a nightmare
The paint is great, very thick and does not drip, however I bought the roller with the ‘handle frame’ and it’s a nightmare- it keeps coming off the handle frame, it is making the job slow and frustrating as I have to keep pushing it back on whilst it’s covered in paint, it’s a shame because when it’s on it’s great, but every 2 or 3 rolls it starts coming off again - it doesn’t ‘lock on’.

Réponse de Emperor Paint
Hello Lorna.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re really pleased to hear you’re happy with the paint itself and its thick, non-drip application.
We’re sorry to hear about the issue with the roller. The roller and handle frame aren’t manufactured by Emperor Paint; we simply stock them as part of our range. That said, we really appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will investigate the issue with our supplier.
Thank you again for your honest feedback and for choosing Emperor Paint.
Best Wishes.
