This includes a 20-week reflection period after the application is issued and a further 6-week waiting period before applying for the final order. It can take longer if financial or child arrangements are still being resolved. *** Q: What am I entitled to after a divorce? * A: Entitlement depends on the length of the marriage, financial contributions, and future needs of both parties. The court’s aim is to reach a fair outcome, which does not always mean a 50/50 split. *** Q: What happens if my ex denies me access to the children? * A: You can apply for a child arrangements order. If granted, this sets out when the children spend time with each parent. Breaching the order can result in legal consequences. *** Q: How long does conveyancing usually take? * A: Most property transactions take between 8 and 12 weeks, depending on factors such as the length of the chain, mortgage offers, and searches. During my consultation I specifically asked to be notified before any contact was made to my ex which didn’t happen and has now complicated the entire process. The 20 week waiting period was never mentioned until I raised an enquiry as to the length of time I was waiting for a response.

Overall very good service
As of today my divorce is final. Endeavour was very clear on what the service included and I chose to have Endeavour handle all aspects of my long overdue divorce! I consider that the communication and ease of contact for advice was very good and apart from a last minute hiccup which was no fault of Endeavour (rather the other party!) the process has been relatively smooth.
