How can I trust or appreciate this service anymore?
You downgraded my bachelor’s degree to “higher education only,” even though I worked incredibly hard for it — much harder than what it takes to earn a bachelor’s degree in the UK.
And my master’s degree, which I completed after two years of nonstop effort and sacrifice, was reduced to the level of a bachelor’s degree. That feels completely unfair.
Honestly, what I achieved in Afghanistan was far more difficult. If I had studied in the UK, I could have earned the same qualifications with much less struggle.

I would like to provide feedback on my recent experience with your qualification assessment service.
I am disappointed that my higher education qualification, which was fully taught and examined in English, was not accepted as evidence of English language proficiency. Although my medium of instruction and assessment was English throughout my degree, the report still states that my English does not meet the standard of UK GCSE English.
Your website and guidance documents do not clearly mention that qualifications studied entirely in English may still be rejected for English language equivalence. This lack of transparency made the process confusing and, in my view, unfair.
I invested both time and money into this assessment expecting a clear, transparent evaluation process. However, the outcome feels inconsistent with the information available to applicants.
I would strongly suggest that UK ENIC update its website and application guidance to clearly explain its policy on English language equivalency and the criteria used for determining it. This would help future applicants make informed decisions and avoid unnecessary costs.

I wanted a Statement of Comparability. There were problems with the process. I tried everything on my end to resolve them. UK NARIC sabotaged everything. That's why it's so bad.

In the UK, a major issue exists regarding the comparability of English qualifications. They only recognise English from Ireland, Australia, the United States, and Canada. For applicants from other countries, they claim the level of study does not meet their standards. Despite this, they still charge a fee and then state that the applicant is not qualified in English. This is frustrating, especially since English is the only requirement we need assessed — everything else is fine. It feels like this department is just taking money without providing real services.

I am writing to express my absolute outrage and deep dissatisfaction with the appalling service I have received from UK ENIC. My experience has been nothing short of disgraceful characterized by shocking delays, dismissive and unhelpful staff, and a complete lack of professionalism or accountability.
I applied for a Statement of Comparability fiver months ago and only received it about three weeks ago. I received nothing but silence, confusion, and excuses. Your so-called “customer service” is a joke every interaction I’ve had has been met with rudeness, condescension, and a total unwillingness to listen or assist. It is frankly unbelievable that an organization tasked with something as important as credential recognition can operate with such incompetence.
Because of your failure to process my application in a reasonable timeframe, I lost a job opportunity that depended on this document. Let that sink in, a job I worked extremely hard to secure, gone, because your staff couldn’t be bothered to do their jobs or even communicate properly.
The complete lack of transparency, accountability, and basic courtesy I’ve encountered is unacceptable for any organization, let alone one operating under government endorsement.
Your organization’s inefficiency and poor treatment of applicants have real consequences — financial, professional, and emotional. I suggest you take this complaint seriously
I expect a prompt and professional reply … for once

I am extremely disappointed with the ENIC service. It has now been over two months since I paid my fee to receive my statement of compatibility, and I am still waiting. Despite the fact that I attended well-known and accredited schools in the United States, there seems to be a new issue with my documents every time I check in. Instead of moving forward, the process feels like it’s going backwards.
I expected a professional and straightforward evaluation of my documents, but the experience has been frustrating, unorganized, and completely lacking in transparency. After paying a significant fee, I should not still be stuck in limbo without clear communication or progress. I cannot recommend this service to anyone looking for timely or reliable assistance.
Unfortunately, you won't even be able to choose an alternative service because apparently there aren't any in the UK.

It would be more transparent and, frankly, more honest if UK ENIC listed on their website the overseas qualifications they will not give a statement of comparability for. Instead they let applicants apply wasting both time and money.

It is a complete waste of your time if you ask for a comparability statement for the US qualification GED. They will simply say there is no comparability. Save your money.

After I received my statement of comparability, I sent them a message with two simple queries.
The first one was about whether the qualification title in English was equivalent to specific degree I was asking about - "Bachelor of Arts" (this is a simple yes/no question). The second query was about a sentence they included in my statement saying that I had not provided a certificate of completion for my secondary education, but only transcripts. I explained to them that the institution where I graduated didn't issue a separate certificate, but a single document where the front side contains the transcripts and the reverse of the document contains what is equivalent to a certificate, signed and stamped by the relevant authorities. In their response, they ignored my first query altogether. For my second query, they said I had to reapply again (pay again) and submit the missing certificate, which I had already submitted.
I sent them another message explaining that my first query had not been answered, and that they had not understood the documentation I sent them, since what they were asking me to send is something I had already submitted in my original application. In the new response, they sent me a link to their website with general information about the statement of comparability instead of answering my yes/no question (appalling), and suggested that I could apply for a reassessment, despite I provided a clear explanation about the comment in my statement of comparability that was factually incorrect.
In summary: I paid a hefty fee to receive a statement of comparability that contained factually incorrect information (which I proved and explained to them), yet they ignored me, refusing to correct the error, plus ignored a simple yes/no question by sending me a link that didn't answer my question. They just don't care once they got your fee, and ignored my queries with generic templates - very disappointed by this unprofessional service.
