good
enotes is one of the largest study guide website and I like its content, however it infuriated me that although I subscribed I can only download limited amount of content, I think it is 10 pdfs per month, and I didn't like that at all

I was on your website and was promised I would not be charged as it was a trial period . To my shock I was charged on my paypal account . Please reverse the charges of 15 $ . This is not what I was given to understand and I am really disappointed.

Buyer Beware
Buyer Beware. The free 48 hour access is not free if you download anything. I must have missed that information before I signed up and downloaded information. With that said, what I downloaded was very good, useful, and helpful. And I cancelled my subscription anyway due to either misleading info on their part or from my lack of observation. Live and learn.
And my money has been refunded as stated. Thank you eNotes.

The study guide was useless short.
The study guide and summary was useless short, just a few paragraphs (Gore Vidal, Julian). Very disappointing given the price for a subscription. Some books have good lengthy reviews, others have barely anything. You can't tell until you pay. Very deceptive.
Follow up: The company graciously refunded me for the subscription after reading my review, so I have raised the rating from one star to two for excellent customer service.

The response to my question was prompt and helpful. The only problem is that the subscription is more expensive, and I really don't see why that needs to be. My salary as a teacher hasn't increased in more than 5 years, but everything is costing so much more.
