Really poor customer service

Really poor customer service. A locksmith was sent out to fix a broken door lock. Whilst the locksmith was friendly and tried his best, he was unable to fix the door on site as he needed an additional part. He reassured me that he would come back in two days between 6pm and 8pm with the part to finish the repair. He didn’t turn up and I heard nothing from Evander. When I called Evander they told me no-one would be coming as this wasn’t covered by my insurance and that I would need to sort my door out myself! I was appalled that no-one had thought to contact me to tell me this in advance. When I called the next day to complain, the person I spoke to and the manager I passed to were pretty unhelpful and largely unapologetic. Very unimpressed!

Highly Recommend

The company kept me informed at all stages.
The engineers arrived when they said they would and kept me updated on their progress.
The engineers were very helpful and pleasant.
I am very very pleased with my windows and doors.
Overall a very good experience and I woudl definitley recommend the company.

the fitter was good but the overall…

the fitter was good but the overall service from Evander has been very poor.. waited 2 weeks for new window glass after a burglary. theres a ton of debris inside the glass panels and the inside beading looks dirty and full of wood chipping. fitter brought the wrong colour replacement door handles with him

new door handles were ordered and delivered by there fitter with no notice - he turned up when I was at work, so told them to leave them at my door and I will fit them s but when opening them they are the wrong colour handles again. ringing Evander is also difficult as there don't answer the phone lines. constantly going to a mail box which says it full or you end up sat on hold for lengthy periods of time.

overall id say fitters are good, customer service is poor they dont respond to emails sent to them.

Absolutely diabolical service

I took a call from Evander at 08:30 to say they would be at mine to fix my lock no longer than 4 hours , I’m still sat waiting at 19:30 they know I’ve had to have my door open all day in the freezing cold because if I close it I wouldn’t get out again . Such poor service .

The job too far too long to complete !

The job too far too long to complete !! Three different workers to measure the same window three times !! Worker that eventually got the job done was good but over eight weeks to replace one window !! Not good enough.
