Wrong item received like other reviews. No reply upon complaint & website now defunked.

I fell for the marketing of the v2 ball. The ball is made of hard plastic, it doesn’t bounce around like the video shows, it simply rolls around - my cat (a young playful kitten) isn’t the slightest bit Interested - nor would I be. Perhaps I was sent a duff? I bought on Evergences website - mine don’t look like the video (I even bought 2!!)

I can only concur with other buyers' experiences who have given this company 1 star. I would give them zero stars if that was an option. I purchased the balls, but they do not work as suggested by the videos on their website/social media. They just spin on the spot, no matter what type of surface. They do not appear to have the light modes described on the website. The website also stated 'fast free returns' but I was informed that I had to send them back to their warehouse in France and I was not eligible for free returns (no explanation provided). I have also not yet received any confirmation that they have received the item I returned or that they are processing the refund. Terrible commercial practices, probably illegal, and definitely false advertising, which they would probably try to get away with by having it listed in their terms and conditions that pretty much anything they say on their website cannot be taken as a guarantee of anything. The only thing going for them is at least somebody did reply to some of my emails. Poor, poor, poor. Do not buy. I wish I had checked here before buying.

Waste of money. It doesn't do anything other than spin on the spot. It doesn't make any difference whether it's on carpet, laminate or any other flooring.

Items should have 3 modes with red, blue & green lights. Upon arrival, they only had 2, blue & green, no red (fast mode). They just sit on the floor & hardly move. Other reviewers have said the same. I emailed their customer support & asked for a refund as the items are not as advertised, only have 2 modes & did not bounce when banging near it (which it should, as per their Instagram video). Their response was to send the items back to a warehouse in France. The email did not say this was a freepost address nor did the email contain a prepaid returns label. I queried this & was told return shipping was at my expense. I quoted their website saying that returns are simple and free, only to be told that this is only free if the items are broken. I replied that they should have 3 functions but only 2 work, therefore they are broken and the return should be free. Their reply was that it was still at my expense. I'd had enough by now, so I called PayPal (who I used to purchase the item). They advised me not to send the item back & they will contact the seller. They have until 9th November to respond, or they will issue the refund. 3 days later I get email from PayPal saying the seller has offered me a refund but only if I send the items back to them, again still expecting me to pay for the postage. I called PayPal for the 2nd time & PayPal offered me a voucher for £6 to cover the shipping. I advised them that it would be more than £6 to send back to France, fully tracked, they said the Royal Mail website said £5.15. I go to the post office only to find that my suspicions correct, sending a tracked item back to France was £10.95. I called PayPal back, (the 3rd time in 6 days) & asked them to increase the offer to cover postage. PayPal then decided that since all the above has gone on & I'm still trying to sort out this issue, they gave me a full refund, told me to keep the faulty items & closed the case. I'm forced to give 1 star as leaving 0 stars is not an option.

The Pet Gravity balls were shipped in an envelope, which was partially taped up on one side. Without suitable protective packaging the envelope and its contents were crushed in the post and only one of the two balls arrived. I presume the other fell out through the hole.

After charging the ball that arrived, I found it did not move on the carpet, or hard laminate flooring, or anything I tried, and just spun on the spot without moving. I have videos of this.

I asked Evergences for a refund as per their guarantee of free returns for a full refund if we weren't satisfied and was told I had to ship the item tracked to France first, which of course would be particularly expensive, and they wouldn't cover the return cost.

They didn't even address the issue that I had only received part of my order or that it was crushed and non-functional. They just said they were sorry the product didn't meet my expectations.

Looking at the product further it doesn't have the cat head logo on the ball but instead has a power on/on symbol (in fact it doesn't look much like the ball in the advert at all), it doesn't have the three light modes described, and of course if doesn't move let alone have any of the functions of the product I thought I was buying.

I tried to leave a negative review on their website and it wasn't published, and I joined others in leaving a negative review on their Facebook page and they turned off reviews so they were all hidden.

I am beyond disappointed with this product and the experience.

Edit: It cost a non-refundable £12.50 at the Post Office to send the return to France.

Avoid at all costs!
Bought to electronic balls for my cats. They falsely advertised that these would work on every floor, including long pile carpets. Well, that’s not true. I tried them on a very low pile carpet and both of them just spun in place and didn’t move anywhere. When I contacted their customer support to get a refund they told me it was my responsibility to pay for the return label (to another country, by the way. So it would be expensive) because the product didn’t meet MY expectations. When I showed them proof that the product didn’t meet THEIR CLAIMS and they were falsely advertising, they still refused to pay. So please please don’t order their products and don’t order from them! Save your money and your precious time.
