It didn't work for my cats.

Update - Absolutely blown away with the near immediate response to my review. The company reached out and are sending their best selling Smart Butterfly Cat Toy. In this day and age it's refreshing to deal with real people!! My two ninjas are eagerly awaiting their new toy.

Unfortunately my cats would not go near the toy. If I recall it was advertised as 'whisper quiet' and it may be if used on carpet. I have only hard surfaces and the noise that it made was very offputting to my crew.
Even if they had played with it I would have had to limit the amount of time they used it because the noise was really irritating. I didn't return it because it seemed like a hassle so I plan to find a friend with a carpeted area in their home to give it to.

Doesn’t work well

Doesn’t work well. Very loud and strong vibration when it does work at the base, it distracts my cat from the butterfly. This is despite it being well fitted into the base socket. Good in theory. Poor execution.

Hi Miki, thank you for your feedback! The loud noise and strong vibration happen when the wand head isn't fully assembled and locked into the base socket. When it's not fully attached, the motor vibrates against the base instead of smoothly fluttering the butterfly.

Great customer support!

I was having trouble with the wand making a buzzing sound when turned on.
I contacted customer support and they sent me a new wand free of charge.
After connecting the new wand, I experienced the same issue. I told them I was still having trouble and they gave me advice on how to correctly connect the wand to the base.
After that it worked much better.

Amazing realistic butterfly!

I'm only giving 4 stars because of the base. It would be so much better if it was reusable but the sticky unsticks pretty easily. We are using it as a handheld toy now and the cats go crazy for it.
