⭐ 1 Star Didn’t Even Turn Up
⭐ 1 Star – Left Stranded at Rome Airport Despite Them Tracking Our Flight
Terribly disappointed with this airport transfer service.
I booked and prepaid approximately £75 for a transfer from Rome Airport into central Rome. Our British Airways flight was unfortunately delayed by around three hours.
When we eventually arrived in Rome, our driver was nowhere to be found. I tried calling him and eventually received a message saying, in effect, that the flight had been delayed by more than three hours, he had waited 45 minutes and had therefore left.
The problem is that our Booking.com confirmation specifically stated that they would track our flight. Therefore, they knew our flight was delayed and they knew when it was actually due to arrive. What is the point of offering flight tracking if the driver simply leaves before the delayed flight lands?
We were left stranded at the airport and had to arrange alternative transport ourselves. Because of the number of people travelling, we needed two taxis, costing us another €100 to get into central Rome.
Apparently, somewhere in the small print there is a limit on how long the driver will wait. If that condition can override their promise to track a delayed flight, then it needs to be made considerably more prominent when people book and pay for an airport transfer.
When you pre-book an airport transfer, you do it for peace of mind - particularly when arriving in a foreign city. Instead, we paid around £75 for a service we didn’t receive and then another €100 to get ourselves to our destination.
A very poor experience and one that left us completely in the lurch.

Great service. I was booked for a ground floor delivery, but I live on the 3rd floor. After a quick call to their manager they delivered to the 3rd floor at no extra cost. I did tip the delivery people anyway but very happy to do so. They did a great job.
