I’ve dealt with several part vendors over the years, but Extreme Kartz is still the best. I usually request Ryan, but I’ve never had a bad experience with any of their team members. Ryan is very knowledgable and goes above and beyond to ensure their customers needs are met. If you’re in need of parts or accessories, I highly recomend Extreme Kartz!

• We did two 2019 Polaris Ranger conversion to lithium. Installed 2 eco skinny 48v 105 ah on each Ranger. Must order an additional battery support frame and battery mounting bracket kit for the 2nd battery.
• We got 15 am charger instead of 20 amp which normally comes with the Ranger kit but we’re out of stock at time of our orders. 15 amp charger will take incrementally longer to charge.
• Make sure when removing the 4 long battery hold-down bolts on the long factory battery bracket that threaded ends don’t break in the holes. Re-tap holes ( M8x1.25 tap) if necessary as you will be using these 4 treaded holes.
• Download eco instructions guide and parallel batteries wiring to use for the installation
• Don’t need 48v converter since Ranger has its own.
• Clean and paint metal trays.
• The factory plastic trays are not reused.
• We ordered from Amazon 8x1.25 16mm long SS bolts for tray re-installation and
2g welding wire and 2g lugs with 5/16” hole for parallel connection of the 2 batteries.
• Make 2 battery 2g cables 24” long each for the parallel connections.
• Note batteries have recessed lower support lips at the bottom that you’ll use the kit mounting brackets to secure battery
• Take picture of battery serial no for warranty registration. Verify serial numbers when activating the Bluetooth set up.
• Install both battery supports from the kit on each side of the vehicle, install self tapping screws with impact drill. Be careful not to impact hard to shear screws (go part of way with impact, then tighten with a 5/16” socket and ratchet).
• Pre drill 15amp charger holes on vertical plate (110 volt cord facing bottom) which has different hole spacing than 20 amp charger
• Install charger plate temporarily with only 2 bolts and install 2 self tapping screws with impact drill, mark location of this plate exactly to get exact alignment of self tapping screws when reinstalled later
• Remove charger plate to make battery installation easier.
• The main negative cable to controller is long enough to connect to right battery (passenger side). Need to carefully remove the positive main cable from factory solenoid and reinstall to come from top of solenoid to have enough length to go to positive terminal on left battery
• Shrink tube and tape 4g cable lug and zip tie to 1g main cable which is factory installed in the main cable lug on both main positive and -negative cables.
• Wire brush clean both main 1g cable lugs
• Install batteries. Use short piece of 2x8 on edge of Ranger frame to support heavy battery as you slide in
• Position each battery and line up lower lip holes with support holes.
• Install provided 5/16” battery support bolts. Supplied nuts which are in the kit are hard to start and tighten on battery support bolts under battery frame. We used long nose pliers to hold the nut to start them on the bolt. These nuts are for extra measure but not really needed.
• Kept factory gauge intact to keep run hours indication on the Ranger. Added new gauge above key switch location. Plug in both connectors on back of the gauge and run the wire to right battery area on right side of drive shaft. Secure with zip ties away from drive shaft.
• Install charger plate and battery charger with 110 v wire plug at bottom.
• Install provided charger port on the right-side panel where the dummy existing capped hole with provided 4 small bolts/nuts.
• Install positive and negative main cables, positive and negative parallel cables and charger cables using battery 8x1.25 bolts found in bottom of battery packing. Stack lugs big to small. Use ECO installation guide for battery parallel wiring.
• Connect 5 pin communication cable to right battery, connect remaining gauge and charger cables connectors per ECO installation instructions.
• Double check all wiring and zip tie for clear, rattle free and safe installation.
• Bypass factory charger per instructions using a blue female spade connector pressed to fit tightly on the 2 pins on factory charging plug for jumper.
• Turn both batteries on and verify green switch light is on. Gauge lights up and show state of charge.
• Reinstall all panels. Do a quick test drive. Plug charger to fully charge batteries to 100%.
• Download eco app and check for Bluetooth operation and verify batteries serial number for warranty registration.
• Register batteries on ECO website. Eco Batteries support phone number is 877 326 2288.They are very helpful.

I ordered the wrong part for my cart on Saturday and called on Monday morning to cancel it. I spoke with Ryan who got my order cancelled and refunded in less that 10 minutes. Ordered a chair holder for my cart - it was there in 3 days. Price was great and now I am toting my chairs to the beach.

I purchased a 600A Navitas controller, 2 guage wiring kit, and an HD solenoid as a package for my EZGO TXT 48v cart at a cost of over $1,200. The HD solenoid has 3/8th inch posts on it, but the wiring kit came with 5/16th inch terminals. A bit surprising that a set of products purchased together doesn't come with the right size holes. The install video on their 600A Navitas controller product page says that the controller comes with bracket for the run/tow switch, but this didn't come in the package. When I reached out to ExtremeKartz they told me they would look into the issue and update their product page. No offer to make things right. I called again and spoke to a different person and once again got told sorry and they'll update the wording. Here is the email text:
"I heard back from our Navitas reps. The run/tow switch bracket is no longer being provided. Not sure why, no one seemed to know.

Wish I was able to get you the part. We will be making wording of this on the product page.

We apologize for this inconvenience. Let us know if you need anything else."
Admitting the issue was there, but not making it right for the customer seems like poor customer service. Given the amount of after market parts sellers for golf carts out there I will not be buying from Extreme Kartz again.

Update 9/6/2024: Jordan Hill reached out to me as he said he would and worked with me to come to a resolution that worked for both of us. I appreciate Extreme Kartz following through with this and making it right.
