Ex Why Zed Print Avis 

I recommend exwhyzed to all my friends. They are the best printers I've found for my small run artist zine. The feedback and advice they give on projects is so helpfull, the paper, printing and binding are all perfect and they are super quick too. I really enjoy making things with them.

I would give them 6 stars if I could. The print quality is great, fast turn around and the customer service is fantastic too. They were very helpful and I couldn't recommend them more.

We used Ex Why Zed to print a small run of a book as a gift for our friend. They were very helpful at every stage of the process, providing us with a massive amount of relevant information for producing a high quality end product. The books we made in the end are extremely polished, and we are very happy with them.

It is rare that I feel inclined to write a review as good suppliers are hard to find but incredible suppliers that take 100% of the hassle and worry off you as rare as seeing a Dodo cross the road. Mike and the team at ExWhyZed provide advice, creative options, high-quality print in no time at all, and at a very reasonable price too. Good companies are not extinct.

Amazing! Great service. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. When the final printed product arrived (and it arrived extremely quickly) it was beautifully printed and I was over the moon.

Fantastic company from start to finish they’ve been super helpful for a new author, great communication and the turn around time for printing is amazing . Print quality is also excellent with no issues . I’m releasing a series of children’s books and will be using Ex why Zed for all , really can’t recommend highly enough .

I hesitate to be one of the few dissenting voices among so much praise, but I have ended up with a product I am not 100% happy with.
I am a beginner at this and I did get plenty of advice from Mike and the team, but somehow it all went a bit wrong. The first run of 150 books of monochrome photos, printed digitally were not acceptable at all, and the team agreed that they would have to resolve the issue. They would either get it right with the digital process or if that failed, print using litho. Great, I thought, they're on the ball I can trust them to get it right.
When I received the reprints, the quality as such was good, the detail and texture was much improved as they had indeed upgraded to using litho. However the images had lost all their punch, and were not representative of my original work.
Now, I understand the differences in the processes, but my real grievance is that I wasn't told that this process was being used. If I had ben made aware of this and of the difference in tonal range, I might have had a chance to discuss ways of ensuring my images ended up looking closer to the way my originals look. I say closer because I am well aware that they will never look exactly like they do on a screen.
It seems to me that even with the litho process, my images could have looked much better with a bit more effort. I understand that the use of "Rich Black" ink can bring more punch to the litho process, and I assumed that having seen my originals that the team would do their best to match them. I felt, that by the end they just wanted me out of the way. Black and white images are just too much trouble it seems.

This printing company is amazing. They communicate every step of the way and are friendly and full of advice. Their costs are very competitive. One of the more impressive details is that they do not have their company details on the finished product. They rely on word of mouth. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

With Ex Why Zed, you are in good hands. I was up against the wall to get my last publication out to print and the team at ExWhyZed were absolutely amazing. They gave some crucial last-minute advice on colours and printing standards which resulted in a wonderful product. If like me, you intended on giving or selling the things you print it makes a world of difference knowing that the quality of the product is top-notch. I held my publication in my hands for the first time today and thought to myself "I would be thrilled if I had bought it". Thanks again to the absolutely stellar staff. They made the final stressful moments very very manageable and their ceaseless desire to create quality work has given me a new lease of life to get my magazine out to the people that are going to read it.
