Great experience after spending far too much time looking for my first decent pair of glasses. Qais who looked after me was superb, patient and professional throughout and have sound advice where other opticians were obviously only interested in selling me the most expensive option. We have been coming to Ellis and Thompson in Cobham for as long as I can remember. We are a family of five and all wear glasses. For most of the time we have been customers we have been dealing with Kim Patel. We make sure that when we visit Kim is available as we prefer to deal with him. He has always been extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Even when my elderly parents were staying we took them to see Kim and he fitted them both with new glasses. We travel to Cobham specially although there are many opticians/glasses shops in Guildford where we live as we prefer the 'family' atmosphere and excellent service.

Kim was extremely helpful and professional in fitting my new reading glasses and also adjusting the varifocals which I had purchased a few weeks previously. The Cobham branch is always a pleasure to deal with.

Having moved from Nottingham to Walton on Thames, I needed to find a new optician service. I had a good independent optician in Nottingham who also worked in the eye clinic in one of Nottingham's teaching hospitals. I had a good look around and decided to try Ellis and Thompson in Cobham. I had an eye test and some other relevant tests and ordered two pairs of glasses and had new lenses in another pair. It was nearly three years since my last test and my prescription had changed quite a lot. I was given pleasant and competent service and am very happy with my purchases and the choice of frames available.

Ellis and Thompson offer a really personalised service and are very professional. This time I was purchasing prescription sunglasses. Kim offered me help with choosing a suitable frame to suit me and was very proactive. I am very happy with my choice of Tiffany glasses, thank you.
