Started out great steadily working through photos editing making them look saleable got right up to 14 on the market and just waiting for a few others to be approved or declined

Today 11/08/24 checking status of the few I had been waiting for to find out the not only were they declined but 11 of the 14 originally approved photos have now been taken off the market

Dont waste ur time if u don't want to be let down

Personally will only be using this site for the good hashtags not even going to be bothering otherwise.. iv already got cloud storage for photos I dont need another thanks

I'm a contributor, no longer able to login, payment haven't been paid and I couldn't take down my own portofolio

I don’t know the system in EyeEm to recognize some location when I upload photos. How can it can’t recognize where the Bali, Vietnam are.

Sending out spam emails with no "unsubscribe" link and without the possibility to reply to the email (reply email noreply at eyeem.com)

Beware it's a scam, can't confirm email and registration details disappear including uploaded pictures.

Ich bin extrem enttäuscht von meiner Erfahrung mit EyeEm. Als Fotograf habe ich mich entschieden, meine Bilder auf ihrer Plattform anzubieten, in der Hoffnung, eine faire Vergütung für meine Arbeit zu erhalten. Leider wurde ich schnell von der Realität eingeholt.

Zunächst einmal ist es äußerst frustrierend zu erfahren, dass meine Bilder ohne meine ausdrückliche Zustimmung gleich zweifach verkauft wurden. Nicht nur, dass EyeEm meine Arbeit ohne angemessene Entschädigung verwendet, sondern das Geld, das durch den Verkauf meiner Bilder verdient wird, kommt nicht einmal bei mir an. Das ist nicht nur unprofessionell, sondern auch eine eklatante Verletzung des Vertrauens, das ich in diese Plattform gesetzt habe.

Es ist schockierend und inakzeptabel zu erleben, wie EyeEm seine Fotografen ausnutzt und sie letztendlich um ihre wohlverdiente Vergütung betrügt. Diese Art von Ausbeutung und Betrug sollte von keiner seriösen Plattform toleriert werden. Es ist eine Schande, dass EyeEm sich dafür entschieden hat, diesen Weg zu gehen.

Ich rate jedem Fotografen dringend davon ab, EyeEm zu nutzen oder mit ihnen zusammenzuarbeiten. Es ist nicht nur eine Geldverschwendung, sondern auch eine ernsthafte Ausbeutung der Arbeit und des Talents der Fotografen. Ich werde meine Bilder sofort von dieser Plattform entfernen und nach besseren Alternativen suchen.

Die Seite ist Tot! Keine Auszahlungen mehr. Hatte bei Getty über 1000 Bilder gelistet, die sind als rausgefallen. Jahrelang mühevolle Arbeit und Zeitaufwand (Bilder hochladen mit Hashtags versehen) mit Füßen getreten!
Schade wie mit Kunst und Arbeit der Menschen umgegangen wird, damit sich wieder nur eine handvoll die Taschen vollstopfen können!

I give 1 star because one is supposed to be able to payout the earnings when their picture is sold. No matter if it's 1$/3$ or 300$ and so on. I was notified a pic of mine was sold for less than 3$ (after years I'd been having my pictures uploaded on the platform). After I tried to connect my PayPal account to the Eyeeym account,guess what: you can get your earnings only if they reach 10$ or above. So not only EyeEm takes a part of your earnings, it takes also your earnings :)))) Unless you sell more. But since I haven't sold anything for years I doubt I would ever get to sell anything from now on. It's not about the money, it's about principles. Basically if I never sell anything again, they got my 3$ plus the percentage they'd previously kept. Now imagine this happens with thousands of people worldwide. Nice move Eyeem. Such a pity. It otherwise would be a nice app. I forgot to mention that after I contacted them, like 4/5 pictures in a row appeared to be "not suitable/accepted for the market". It was the first time this was happening. Coincidence? It may be...

Scam.
Took my pictures never paid off, then deleted my account without a word. Connectes with support never gave me an straight answer about anything, and then blocked my email to log back in and deletedy reviews from the playstore.
Absolutely horrible experience. The site and the app never worked properly either.
AVOID AT ALL COST.

I've been waiting for a payout for almost a year. No one will answer emails or social media messages on multiple platforms. I am also unable to delete my account or any photos on the marketplace. Scam.

Requested a pay out in November 2022, still haven't received it. No reply to my emails

1. Generally no answer from support.
2. No payout of earned money.
3. No account deletion possible as some cents are unclaimed. Need to contact support. See 1.
4. No photo deletion possible, as you need to contact the support if it's on the market. See 1.

Thus, avoid at all costs..

I wondered
When I had Huawei P20Pro Eyeem was already installed and it was brilliant place to keep / show you photos to world and learn something from others who shared

Now I have Huawei Mate50Pro with all that camera stuff and no Eyeem was included so decided to download it from web, witch, now I understand why, warned me of scam application

For now problem - can't close account, I don't need the money that is there
I would't be surprised if they specially pay 1 cent for random picture so you can't delete your profile later because you have something left in your balance 😂
I already thought to buy my own pictures to get sum I need, but if I go 1 cent over requested sum I will have to do all over again and they will again block to delete account and earn money
My mistake was to upload new ones, when editing tags, location mark started endless roll, so decided to delete them
All deleted photos returned back
Searched for problem and red all information about this service in 2023 year, they f****d up whole community
Decided to delete all photos in account if I can't close it, they returned back later to profile

Total scam. They don't pay earnings anymore and don't let you cancel your account. So they still sell you photos but don't pay you.

Scam now will sell your photo and won't give you any payment - basic fraud why authorities can't shut down ???

It was all going well until last year.

There have been no payouts for a year and now I cannot delete my account. Like many at the beginning of this year I was told my payout was delayed but coming. Now you cannot even get a response from the company and it has apparently filed for bankruptcy in April this year.

I cannot delete my account like many and you cannot even remove photos it seems. If anyone knows of anywhere to report other than BBC watchdog or who to ask to get the site removed please inform us!

Ik heb EyeEm verlaten nog lang voor de overname toen ik merkte dat foto's voor belachelijk lage bedragen verkocht werden. Ik hoef met 20 cent ook niet een winkel binnenstappen. Mijn verzoek om foto's te plaatsen zonder verkoop werd niet gehonoreerd. En ik zie nu dat ik op tijd ben weggegaan want het is nog erger. Jammer, want aanvankelijk vond ik het een mooi manier om eigen werk te stallen en de reacties waren erg leuk.

Eyeem ist Insolvent

Kündigungen von Autoren werden nicht umgesetzt. Es erfolgen keine Antworten mehr auf Mails. Wahrscheinlich wird hier in grossem Stil mit Bildrechten betrogen, d.h. Autoren werden um Ihre Inhalte und Honorare gebracht. Ich selber mache z.Z. diese Erfahrung.

Nachtrag: Eyeem ist insolvent und hat einen Insolvenzverwalter - Rechtsanwalt Jesko Stark von der Berliner Kanzlei GT Restructuring. Über diesen konnte ich endlich meinen Account löschen und meine Bilder entfernen lassen.
