Excellent Service
Farthing Electrical recently installed some external lighting for us. The initial install was completed efficiently and to an excellent standard. Unfortunately, one of the lighting units subsequently failed due to a manufacturing defect - There were absolutely no issues in arranging for installation of a replacement unit.
Overall top quality service delivered at a competitive price.

Excellent Electrician and trusted trader
I have known James since 2018 when he came to wire my new extension, install a new fuse board, chandeliers and downlights. He has since then installed the electrics for my hot tub. Although this job is not his biggest he is very professional in his approach and ensures that the customer is comfortable with whichever solution works best. I will definitely use James and his team again. I consider him one of my most trusted traders!

Great mesh Wi-Fi system fitted
James fitted a mesh Wi-Fi system in our house which has really helped improve Wi-Fi coverage. We had a couple of black spots before, but not now. James took the dimensions of the house and did a heat map to show where the mesh Wi-Fi nodes/discs would be most beneficial. He did a great job of fitting them and even the data cupboard looked very organised, neat and tidy when he had finished! Really happy with the result mesh Wi-Fi has given us and with the fitting job James did.

Rewiring
Had my bungalow rewired whilst i was on holiday. Came back to a good job done and all the plastering done too. Very little mess. Good, trustworthy electrician who always turned up on time and willing to offer his expertise about the job. I can thoroughly recommend.

Reliable, transparent and trustworthy
Farthing electrical re-wired our entire house as part of a wider renovation project. From quoting stage all the way through to completion, James was brilliant at communication and clear about what days he would be working on our house and remained reliable throughout the whole project which made everything a lot less stressful.
I would highly recommend the quality of the work and for a trusted electrician, James and his team will always have our business.
The invoicing is transparent and accompanied by a spreadsheet and so there were no additional hidden costs.
Overall we are thrilled with the work carried out by Farthing Electrical.
