I am so grateful this company exist, never would have got anywhere with selling my father's property otherwise (seriously very difficult circumstances), everything was very straightforward and handled very professionally, I couldn't be more thankful and I highly recommend this brilliant company.

People Finders located us as heirs, however Kitsen’s Law Firm of London did not disperse and funds and blocked all heirs from e-mail or phone inquiries.

Unfortunately i would not recommend…
Unfortunately i would not recommend signing up with Finders. Obviously i can only give my opinion on Finders and not any of the other companies that initially contacted us, following the death of an unknown relative. They may all work the same way, so be aware! They cant do enough for you BEFORE you sign with them. I chose Finders as they appeared to be the most professional of the bunch - (and had the highest fee i might add!) but after you sign they lose interest in updating you and trying to get any update was in the end, pointless. They just never respond. I did write an email once complaining about their service and stating i wish i had never chosen them. To which they did reply, but contact never improved and in the past six months has been non existent. Despite at least 4 phone messages. I only know what is going on through either another family member (who signed with a different company), or finally the solicitors that were handling the estate. I do see they seem to respond to poor reviews on here. So, let us just see how long that takes! I don’t believe all the delays were down to Finders, (it has taken 3 years) but not updating me certainly was.

Communication Efforts: According to our records, we have consistently responded to your inquiries. Our last communication was in October, and our team has always aimed to provide thorough responses, even if some delays occurred due to factors like annual leave. We also noted that we sent out updates on significant developments on 31/05/2022, 19/08/2022, and 08/09/2023. If these communications did not reach you, it might have been due to email routing issues, and we regret any confusion this may have caused.
Phone Messages: We have not found any records of missed calls or voicemails from you in our system. It’s possible that if there were routing issues, these messages were not forwarded correctly. We understand how this can be frustrating and are investigating this further to prevent such occurrences in the future.
Case Complexity: The administration of the estate has indeed been complex, involving two firms and requiring two separate probates. This has significantly slowed down the process, and we acknowledge that this has been a source of frustration for many beneficiaries, including yourself.
We are committed to improving our communication and service. If you have any unresolved questions or need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact your case manager directly. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we want to ensure that we address all your concerns promptly and effectively.

Siamo stati contattati qualche anno fa da questa società insieme a altri parenti in quanto possibili eredi di una lontana parente in UK.Dopo anni di ricerche della cospicua eredità nessuna traccia.Secondo loro c'erano solo pochi spicci completamente assorbiti dalle spese legali.State alla larga, è solo una perdita di tempo.

Preventing funds being transferred to the estate, after a long drawn out house sale
After a family member's unexpected death, as Amdinistrators we had to honour a contract he had signed with Finders to sell his house.
The house eventually sold after about 20 months, whice seemed to include long periods of inactivity in terms of marketing, and a lack of explanation/communication during these times, often not responding to requests for updates. Service was substandard compared to my previous experiences with ordinary estate agencies.
40 days since the eventual sale of the house, they have not provided the simple paperwork that the solicitors require for release of the funds to the estate. They have offered no satisfactory explanation (to myself or, as I understand, the solicitors), do not respond to my requests for explanations or simply for details of a contact who is dealing with it.
As you can imagine, when an organisation responsible for a large amount of money does not respond to contact, it leaves us with high levels of concern. We can only hope that it is simply poor admin/service and not something more sinister and that the house proceeds will eventually be transferred to the estate.
Administrating a loved one's estate is never going to be a pleasant experience, but Finders have made it much more stressful and long drawn out than it needs to be, causing distress to Administrators and Beneficiaries. I would not recommend using them and wish I had investigated getting out of the contract, but at the time I had no reason to doubt that they would be efficient in doing the job that they have changed a considerable fee for.
Update - on the 45th day, Finders provided the paperwork which should have been provided on the day of the sale, and the transfer of funds was completed. There was no explanation given for the delay. Our contact said she was sorry for the delay and inconvenience caused.
