Predatory charging practices.

Alex the electrician was efficient and polite, the company itself has predatory payment practices.
We called them out on a Saturday and agreed to the £49 call out fee, Alex replaced one of the outlets as there was a loose connection, it took 20 minutes.
We then received an invoice that was almost £500, there was no transparency and the prices are definitely not affordable.
Stay away from these guys.

watch the cancellation policy which is not mentioned on call

Am sure the actual engineers are worth the 5* review on here but for me having had to cancel the booking with three hours notice that I gave them I was still charged a call out fee of £58.00 for no callout no engineer and no works carried out!! If the engineer had been in the car on his way then fair enough but he wasn't and I was told if I failed to pay it would be into legal hands
Needless to say I wont be using them in the future . Daylight robbery for a two min phonecall made.!!¬

Boiler issue no hot water or heating

Boiler issue no hot water or heating - he came as planned spent some time checking things water came back on but heating didnt then then hot water stopped again later - left me in same state as was before he came - he did say would need a new boiler and tried to get me to buy one - was quoted by someone else £200 less fo new boiler and fitting than he did- Very disapointing throughout - now sat here still with no heating or hpt water and we are disabled.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you’re disappointed with your experience and understand how stressful it is to be without heating and hot water, especially given your circumstances.

During the visit, our engineer carried out full diagnostic checks and advised that the boiler required multiple major components, including a new flue. In our professional opinion, the boiler was beyond economical repair. Despite this, our engineer did manage to get the boiler running temporarily and made it clear at the time that this was not a guaranteed or long-term solution and that further failure was likely.

Regarding the replacement boiler quote, prices can vary significantly depending on the specification, parts included, and whether like-for-like comparisons are being made. A difference in price alone does not necessarily reflect the scope or quality of the work proposed.

We always aim to be transparent and honest in our assessments and recommendations, and we’re sorry if this came across otherwise. If you’d like to discuss this further or review the options again, please contact our office and we’ll be happy to help.

Efficient and reliable

I received a telephone call to confirm booking. The engineer was flexible and made a note of my school run times so that he didn't arrive while I was out He rang to confirm the time and also advised when he was on his way. On arrival polite ,friendly and professional. Thorough service with detailed reports. Thank you

The engineer arrived promptly and…

The engineer arrived promptly and within the time window. He appears to have carried out a full service for a competitive price. A report was sent through later as requested. I shall be booking the company next year for the annual boiler service.

Really pleased with the service…

Really pleased with the service received, from coming to diagnose the initial problem with our boiler, through to fitting replacement parts and servicing. Was kept informed at all stages.
