⭐ Extremely Disappointing Experience – Money Not Refunded

My experience with Fleet Master has been extremely frustrating. Despite my repeated efforts, my money has still not been refunded. This is unacceptable and shows a serious lack of accountability and customer service.

I feel completely cheated by the way this matter has been handled. I have also raised a formal complaint regarding this issue and am waiting for a proper resolution.

I strongly advise other customers to be cautious and think carefully before dealing with this company. I expect Fleet Master to refund my money immediately and resolve this matter without further delay.

⭐ My Experience with Fleet Master Rent a Car – Dubai (26 October 2026)

I had a very disappointing experience with Fleet Master Rent a Car. I paid AED 2,000 by bank transfer to rent a car, and I still had more than 20 days remaining on my rental agreement. However, another rental company contacted me about the vehicle, took the car away, and remotely deactivated it, leaving me without a car.

Fleet Master has not informed me of what is happening, and they are not answering my calls or messages. When I visited their office, nobody was there. I paid Fleet Master directly and had no rental agreement with the other company that took the vehicle.

This situation has caused me serious stress, inconvenience, and financial concerns. I am seeking a clear explanation and a proper resolution. I advise other customers to be extremely careful, keep all payment receipts and written communications, and verify the rental company before making any payment.

Hi everyone, after delivering the wrong car and promising to change it, they ignore communication and then have no plan to give back your deposit. Luckily we live in Dubai where Law is taken seriously. WE ALL HAVE TO STAND TOGETHER AND REPORT THEM, if we have enough reports it will trigger a government audit on their business.

Follow these steps:

1 - Log a detailed report with Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), its all eon on their website. Submit proof of payment and communication you have with the scammers.

2 - File a report via the Dubai Police Smart App under the "e-Crime" section if it involves cyber-fraud or communication blocks.

It’s a huge scam. I’m in contact with DET and police but no response yet. Has anyone got their deposits back through the official routes? I can’t believe they ignored and open but don’t respond or repay the agreed deposit price. SCAM SCAM beware!

they are scammers who are working under a suspended lisence, they dont own any car and rent from other companies then keep the deposit and leave you without responding

Same refund issue… please advise don’t take car from here… it’s 60 days now no refund…. No response… calls are blocked… no reply on emails…. Going for police complaint now…

very very bad company and bed service, i take car with full insurance, after 4 days car not working he no take call and no give any WhatsApp answer

Terrible scam company. Its been more than 2 months now that I have returned car, still I have not received my deposit of 2000 AED back. Nobody is picking the call, no reply nothing. Fake, useless company. Regret renting car from this company . Has anybody tried filing compaint in police station ?

Security deposit still not refunded despite written confirmation
I booked an Exeed LX through OneClickDrive with Fleet Master Rent A Car and paid AED 3,582 on 6 July 2026, including an AED 1,500 refundable security deposit.
Instead of the Exeed LX I booked, an Omoda C5 was delivered. After I raised the issue and was unable to get it resolved satisfactorily, I arranged another vehicle elsewhere. Fleet Master collected their vehicle on 17 July 2026.
Fleet Master's own documentation states that the security deposit is refundable within 30 working days after the vehicle is returned.
On 2 September 2026, Fleet Master contacted me in writing and specifically confirmed that my AED 1,500 deposit needed to be refunded. They then requested my bank details.
Despite that written acknowledgement, I still have not received the AED 1,500 deposit as of 21 September 2026, and my subsequent requests for an update have not received a substantive response.
I also have a separate unresolved claim for AED 1,066.67 relating to 20 unused rental days. This amount has not been acknowledged by Fleet Master and remains disputed.
I have now escalated the matter through Dubai DET Consumer Rights (CMP-26-651976), submitted an enquiry to RTA, raised the matter with OneClickDrive and opened a card dispute with Revolut regarding the AED 1,500 deposit.
This review reflects my personal experience and the documentation and correspondence I have retained. Based on that experience, I would not use Fleet Master Rent A Car again.
I will update this review if and when the company refunds the outstanding money.

Trying to get in touch with them when there's an issue, is an absolute nightmare.

They don't answer before gone 11-12pm. When they do, they can't give any information and just say we'll get back to you....But they don't.

They are most likely the worst company I've had to deal with when it comes to car rentals, and I've been renting cars for over 35 years. You might think they are cheap....But the price you will pay at the end of the day won't be! Be Safe Guys and don't let these companies continue to scam people.

Worst company to deal with. One must avoid them due to extremely bad service and car fleet. once car is delivered to you no one will answer any call for any issue in the car. Avoid them always. Worst company.

As everyone else is saying, this company are not responding to calls, messages or emails regarding my security deposit refund. Car was returned beginning of July and confirmed I will receive my deposit - no deposit received. Reported to consumer rights.

This is the worst rent a car company. They have withheld my deposit for around 50 working days. Beware of them

Haven't returned the deposit, its day 33, and they should have returned it maximum on day 30.

Do not recommend to anyone who wants to rent a car.

Rented a car that is not road worthy and unable to drive. No one answers the phone and when you visit the operations team they promise but don’t deliver. I still have the car , paid but zero support.

Yes, it's a scam company. They not only retain the deposit and ghost communcations, but also try to scam you by contacting form another account with your personal details and full rental data and providing a link "to pay the fines".

I would strongly advise people to avoid this company based on my personal experience.

I paid for a specific car, but a completely different 4x4 was delivered. I had only just moved to Dubai and had never driven on Dubai roads before; back home I drove a small Polo. I explained that I was not comfortable driving the 4x4 and was told it would only be for 2 days and that the car I had paid for would then be provided.

After this, my messages and calls were repeatedly unanswered. I eventually went to their office myself because I was extremely upset and had spent a significant amount of money on a car I could not drive.

I was told that the car I had originally paid for was “broken”, but I was not offered a refund or an alternative solution. I ended up having a car sitting unused in the car park for around a month.

I am now also having ongoing issues getting my deposit returned, despite repeatedly contacting the company to resolve this.

This has been an extremely stressful and disappointing experience, particularly as I had only just moved to Dubai. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.
